Christopher took Cecilia to the wine cellar through the staff

entrance.

There was a hidden chamber in the wine cellar.

The two men caught by the fake Yvette were lying on the ground with injuries. Their features could no longer be discerned.

Christopher looked at his subordinate who had questioned the men through torture. “How’s it going? Did they say anything?”

“Mr. Christopher Forte, their lips are tight. We’ve tried all kinds of methods, but they still didn’t say anything. The potassium cyanide capsules in their mouths, though, have been removed.”

Christopher waved his hand and asked his subordinate to leave.

He looked at the two men on the ground and kicked them.

Although they didn’t pass out, they were too badly injured to give Christopher any reaction.

Cecilia squatted down, checked their injuries briefly, and said, “They didn’t hurt their vitals. They won’t die.”

Those words were meant for the men.

Sure enough, she saw their eyes lit up.

She smiled mockingly and added, “It’s good that they won’t die. I can make their lives worse than death every day!”
