After getting in the car, Cecilia asked Christopher, “How is Fiona?”

She had only received the news that Fiona was saved, but she didn’t know the specific situation.

Christopher, on the other hand, had received the specific information, but he had been too busy defusing the bomb to read it.

He took out his phone, unlocked it, and handed it to Cecilia. “I haven’t looked at it yet. Check it for yourself.”

Cecilia took the phone and tapped on the unread message. Her face turned gloomy when she saw Fiona’s condition.

Although she had expected it, it was still difficult for her to accept when it actually happened.

“Fiona is hurt so badly that I don’t know if she’ll be able to recover.”

Christopher looked at Cecilia who was depressed and held her hand.

“Fiona is not an ordinary person. She’ll be fine. Don’t blame yourself too much.”

“It was Juliana who provided the police with some evidence that Jackson tried to win the race and attacked you, but the evidence is not very sufficient. The maximum sentence is one year.”

Cecilia was not surprised that Juliana would backstab Jackson because she was an extreme egoist.

For those who were useful to her, she would spoil them, but for those who were useless to her, she would abandon and betray them.

If she hadn’t died suddenly, perhaps the Yancey family would have suffered.

He leaned his elbow against the window, held his forehead with his hand, and tilted his head to look at Cecilia.
