- Season 2 Episode 37 - The Face Was Completely Lost
I stared at Lelia in the mirror, speaking disdainfully, “You really are like a ghost, lingering around. What kind of mischief are you planning now?”
“Ha! Cassie, you really have no shame! Someone already has a lover, and you’re still trying to join in the fun? Look at your behavior! A divorcee still dreaming about a wealthy bachelor, you think you’re worthy?”
“Whether I’m worthy or not isn’t for you to decide. Watch your mouth, it’s better for the next generation!” After saying this, I took a napkin and turned to walk away.
Seeing that I was not falling for her tricks, she stepped forward and blocked my way, “… …Wretch, I wonder how long you can keep this up! Sooner or later, you will have your moment of tears.”
No sooner had her words fallen than Sharon also walked into the bathroom. Seeing the state of Lelia and me, she quickly stood by my side, grabbing my arm, “Ms. Byrne, what’s going on?”
Sharon’s eyes turned to Lelia, who had a wicked grin on her face.
Lelia gave Sharon a meaningful smile, “Beware, beautiful lady, the person next to you is a flirt, eyeing your lover!”
As soon as she spoke, I immediately felt embarrassed, “Lelia, don’t go too far!”
“You’re the one who’s overdoing it!” A voice suddenly interjected, “Cassie, do you really have to pick on her?”
Oswald grumbled as he walked over to Lelia, scooping her into his arms. He turned to me, “If you keep this up, don’t blame me for being rude. Don’t forget, those suppliers from Prosper Materials only listen to my
orders!”
My eyes narrowed abruptly, glaring at Oswald, “Are you provoking me? Oswald, if you’re still a man, then bring it on, don’t act like a sissy, doing sneaky things behind my back. Your orders? I’ll tell you today, anyone who listens to your orders, I, Cassie, will not associate with them!”
“Cassie, don’t be so tough in your words. If you want Prosper Materials to survive, you need to behave! Otherwise, even if I let you sign the contract, it will be a waste of money…”
Before Oswald could finish his words, a clear and cold voice came from behind, “Really? I’d like to see who is so shamelessly boastful.”

Oswald turned his head sharply, only to see Raymon standing behind him radiating a strong aura of malice, Oswald’s face turned pale instantly, and the corner of his mouth twitched.

Raymon’s face was as cold as frost, his eyes sharp as a sword. “You think you can bully your way around the market? I really can’t see it. You’d better control your woman. If I see her provoking trouble again, I’ll settle this score with you!”
Oswald glared at Raymon, his face twisted in a grimace of gritted teeth, as he pulled Lelia close. “Let’s go!” he said.
The two of them turned around and left in disappointment. Sharon looked at me and asked, “Who was that?”
I said lightly, “My ex–husband!”
Sharon’s expression was a bit exaggerated, but she quickly concealed it, pulling me and saying, “Forget it, let’s go back!”
She hooked my arm and asked me quietly, “Why are you so arrogant?”
I couldn’t answer her question, only feeling as if my face was about to swell up. It seemed I had to replace this batch of suppliers as soon as
possible.
After settling back down, Raymon asked me about my recent situation. I briefly explained, and he looked at me very seriously and said, “I can arrange a month for you. Within this month, replace all previous suppliers and solve all the troubles!”
“No problem!” I answered cheerfully.
After finishing dinner, the three of us walked out of the restaurant together. At the entrance, I bid farewell to the two of them and got into my car without any hesitation. I didn’t want to stay a minute longer. My face was completely lost because of them.
With Raymon around, Sharon didn’t need my concern. However, I noticed that Raymon seemed to have something to say, but due to Sharon’s presence, he didn’t speak up.
The car drove away from the restaurant, blending into the vast night. For some reason, my heart felt somewhat empty.
