Dania kept babbling in the car, and that made Hesti not focus on driving. Hesti glanced at the food she bought earlier. She then grabbed it with her left hand. Then Hesti opened a packet of bread using her mouth. Without further ado, Hesti immediately put one piece of bread into Dania’s mouth.

Dania looks angry, she looks at Hesti with a sharp look. Dania immediately swallowed the bread without chewing it for too long, “Hesti”. Dania shouted loudly.

Hesti glanced at Dania then she chuckled, “Ha-ha-ha… how? Is the bread delicious?” Hesti asked cheerfully.

Dania raised her lips, she then reached for the bread earlier, because there was still some left. Dania immediately devoured it deliciously, “It is true that you are hungry”. Hesti said.

Dania immediately pushed her hair loose in front of her, “Yes, I’m really hungry”. Hesti said while chewing the bread that had entered her mouth.

“It’s better for you to eat than to chatter away from earlier.”

“Anyway, I will continue to look for that man until I find him, to the end of the world I will continue to look for him.”

Hesti shook her head, “Aish… She’s really stressed”. Hesti muttered, after that she was silent and returned to her focus on driving. Hesti did not want to argue at length with Dania.

It turned out that Rei’s car stopped at a red light. Rei was actually really worried about leaving Alina alone at home. He quickly wanted to get to the house, “Why is this red light taking so long”. Rei dizzy himself, he took off the steering wheel. It didn’t take long for the green light to come on. Rei immediately started his car at high speed.

Rei didn’t care even though many cars were preceded. Luckily Rei is good at driving. So he can manage himself in peace.

When Rei got home, he asked Mr. Jupri to bring all his groceries inside, “Does Miss Alina never come out?”. Rei asked while closing his car door.

“Never”. Answer Mr. Jupri.

“Thank God, don’t forget to put all this in the kitchen, okay, and if this one please tidy it up in the usual place”. Rei said with a faint smile.

“Yes sir”. After that Mr. Jupri took a large plastic bag. He took it inside as Rei’s orders. Luckily there was Mr. Jupri who is ready to help Rei whatever it is.

Rei then went into his house, he went to the kitchen to get a bottle of mineral water. Because he felt thirsty after shopping. Rei was bored at home all the time. He wanted to go to work as usual. But unfortunately he could not completely leave Alina. Rei sat on a chair at the dining table while looking at the drinking water he was holding.

“I have put everything according to your orders sir”. Said Mr. Jupri from beside Rei.

“Is there anything else I can help you with?” Ask Mr. Jupri while lowering his face.

“Nothing, thanks for being kind enough to help.” Rei said.

“You’re welcome, sir. Then I’ll excuse myself.”

Rei nodded his head, and Mr. Jupri then went out.

Rei was still sitting pensively staring at Alina’s bedroom door. Rei always imagined himself and Alina coming out of that room. But sadly that never happened. I don’t know how long they will continue like this. If only Alina could accept Rei and try to love Rei. Maybe their household will be fine. There would be no such thing as hatred.

As usual, Alina rarely wants to go out. She never fulfilled her responsibilities as a wife. In this case, Alina never thought that this method was wrong. Alina just followed her heart’s desire. Really selfish, fortunately, Rei is so kind, so he doesn’t tell all of Alina’s attitude to his mother and father. Alina took a pencil and a sheet of white paper from her drawer. She made a scribble to divert her mood. Instantly Alina’s gaze was on her pointy ring fingers. She saw her wedding ring with Rei. Alina’s hands stopped scribbling. She raised her fingers and looked at her in disappointment.

Again Alina cried, she then removed the ring from her ring fingers. Alina couldn’t bear it if she kept seeing something related to Rei. Especially now that she feels like she is in a love prison that makes him feel threatened at any time. Her chest felt tight every day.

While all of Alina’s equipment and needs, Rei has provided them including some makeup tools, toiletries and others. For clothes, Rei had also prepared everything before Alina arrived at this house. It turned out that Alina’s heart was knocked to see Rei’s kindness.

“Why is it so hard to talk softly to Rei”. Alina muttered.

“I have to behave even worse to make Rei uncomfortable with me, and if Rei is bored he will definitely ask for separation”. Alina thought.

Alina’s thoughts are too short and never true, this is only their second day of marriage. She’s been thinking about divorce.

“Alina, are you inside?” Rei’s voice was clear.

Alina stared at the door with a sad look, because her eyes were never healthy. Always swells up, “What are you doing here again?”. Alina thought.

“Alina, why don’t you answer. Can we talk for a minute?”. Rei asked softly. Rei stood right in front of the door while pressing his other cheek. Even though they have been friends for a long time, that alone is not enough to make their relationship harmonious.

Alina put down the pencil she was holding and opened the door, “What else?”. Alina asked sarcastically.

Rei smiled “I’m just worried about you, I bought you your favorite food”. Rei then gave it to Alina.

“You don’t have to be nice to me because I know your intentions are just to get my attention.”

“It’s not like that, I just want you to eat a lot and not get sick”.

“Just bring your food, because I don’t need it. I hate you because you made me like this”. Said Alina.

“What do you mean? Please explain! I don’t understand at all”. Rei asked innocently.

“You don’t have to act so innocently, because I know this is all your wish.” Alina’s gaze turned dark, she hated Rei so much.

“I want to ask you, are you happy to be married to me?”. Alina asked, she purposely provoked Rei.

Rei was suddenly confused about what to answer because this really was a trick question.

“Come on answer!! Why are you silent?”. Said Alina.

“I’m confused about what to answer because I haven’t felt what happiness is like,” Rei replied.

“I know Rei, you are not happy marrying me. Then why are you still holding on? Why don’t we just divorce, because it’s useless for us to live this fake marriage”. Alina really took it all out on Rei. It brings out all of it.

Rei was surprised and looked at Alina’s beautiful face that never faded even though Alina was often angry with him, but he persisted and never put Alina’s words into his heart, “Alina, actually the marriage we held two days ago was not fake. Because we invite several people to be witnesses, and also we are legally husband and wife”.

“Rei… Don’t you understand how painful it was for me to marry you. Why are you being selfish? Why don’t you ever understand me?”.

“Precisely because I understand you very well, that’s why I defended my love and chose to marry you. Am I wrong if I love you?”.

“It’s useless talking to you, I’m getting dizzy”. Alina shouted, she then closed the door to her room with a loud voice.

Rei immediately stroked his chest in surprise, he didn’t see Alina who used to be gentle and very kind, who never uttered harsh words. This is the exact opposite. Again they had a long debate. They both find it difficult to understand each other.

Rei brought his wounded heart, again Rei felt like he was being slashed by a sword. He goes to backyard as he can’t stand all this. Rei held back his tears, he tried to always be strong. Rei sat thinking about his own problems. No friends to share with, just alone.

“What should I do? The marriage that I just lived has ended like this. If I get divorced with Alina, it’s the same as not keeping my promise”. Rei muttered, he was looking for a solution on his own.

Rei sat down with his hands on his thighs. Rei then put his palms together. His gaze was vacant. There is no purpose, hope is dashed. The sound of the wind sounded serene, making the plants dance as if they were comforting Rei who was sad to think about how his household would be in the future.

Seeing the beautiful green leaves made his eyes sparkle slightly, unlike before. Seeing the colorful flowers nearby made his vision brighten and his heart a little colored. Rei then took a red rose. He plucked the flowers one by one. Rei looked at the rose-like there was no burden in life. Sometimes he wonders why he hasn’t become a flower that many people like. Those are just the thoughts of people in despair.
