Goldy stood on his spot, not knowing what to do, he dip his hand into his hair in frustration

“F*ck!” He ranted.

He knows she’s going home to cry and that alone is enough to kill him inside, he can’t even think of seeing her cry

He rushed into the house and met no one in the dinning room again, he went upstairs and met them there, Lucy and Cindy are with Tessy

“Golden boy” Tessy said immediately he entered

” Mum please, mum just find a place for Nina in your heart, I promise she’s nothing like her mum, please?, Mum? ” He said, kneeling beside her on the bed

“That’s what we’ve been talking about, mum Nina stood by Goldy even when he was still known as an orphan, it was Goldy who changed Nina, Nina was a bully before Goldy entered her life mum, he must not leave, he must not leave her please” Cindy said pleadingly

” Mum please, you know we love you a lot, Goldy won’t be happy if they go apart, Please mum” Lucy added

” I know it very well that she’s not like her mum, I trust my son won’t date a whore, but I’m scared, what will the people say” Tessy replied

” What people will say or think is not important here mummy, what’s important is my happiness and Nina is my happiness, please mum…

“Ok dear, I’ve heard you, I’ll do something about it, you know I can’t refuse you guys” Tessy replied

” Really? ” Goldy asked

” Trust your mother” she replied, smiling big

Goldy hugged her immediately

“Thanks mum, thanks very very much, I love you”

He tried her line throughout the night but she’s not picking up, that made him sad and unable to sleep till the next morning

“What should we do today Goldy?” Cindy asked, coming into his room with Lucy

“you both shouldn’t talk to me” he replied, dipping his face in his pillow

Lucy and Cindy exchanged glances and jumped on him at once, they started tickling him and he laughed uncontrollably

“You girls should.. stop!” He screamed amidst heavy laughter

He succeeded in climbing down from the bed and rushed to another side of the room

“Let’s go out and have fun” Cindy said

“Go out and have fun when my girlfriend will be at home sulking like a baby?, No” he replied.

” Come on” Lucy persuaded

” That .. won’t work” he replied

“Ok mum promised to fix it so..

” I’ll wait till she fixes it, I’m not in the mood to have fun when my girlfriend is having a hard time” he replied

” It’s useless, let’s go Lucy” Cindy said and they both left the room

” Where are we going to?” Mary asked when Daniel showed up for their date this morning, he was the one who suggested it

“It’s a surprise” he replied

“Surprise?, I love surprises” she replied

“Then let’s go” he replied and they got in her car, he was the one who drove and they kept smiling at each other while in the car

He got to a rocky area and stopped the car, he helped her out of the car and she scanned the area

“What are we doing here Danny?” She asked

“You’ll get to know soon” he replied and held her hand, he took her up the hill and by the time they got there, she’s breathing heavily

“That was one long climb” she breathed

“Look behind you” Daniel said and she slowly looked behind, her eyes widened at the beauty

Down below the other side of the rock is a calm river with flowers of all types around it and beautiful birds perching around the flowers

“It’s beautiful!, Wow!” She exclaimed, still staring endlessly

“You like the view?” He asked

“I love it” she replied radiantly

” I found it yesterday” he said

” How?”

“I was taking a walk to discover some beautiful places around here, then I stumbled across this place” he replied, smiling

She held his hand and stood on her toes to peck his cheeks but he turned his cheeks and she kissed him on the lips

He smiled and held her cheek, giving her a pleasant surprise, he kissed her lips for long before letting her go

“You’re more beautiful than this place” he said

She smiled and held his biceps, resting her head on it

” I love you so much Danny”

Geoffrey’s mansion**

“I won!, I won!!!” Tiffany screamed after winning for the third time, she’s actually playing PES with Geoffrey

Not like Geoff is an amateur, just that he’s letting her win knowingly

“Don’t get too happy, you’re not that good” he smiled, watching her jump round the house

Seriously she’s gradually changing, no she has changed a lot, though the stubbornness still remains a part of her but she has been subdued

She’s now cheerful and it looks like she’s gradually forgetting about smoking, they argue a lot, in fact that’s what they do most but that’s part of what makes the house lively

The house has been lively since she came and since two days ago when she slept in his arms without realizing, she grows nervous anytime he comes closer, meaning he’s already having an effect on her

She sat back on the couch beside him and hit his back playfully

“Let’s go for another round” she said.

“Buckle up, I’m getting serious this time” he said.

” You’re no match for me” she replied and they started the game, he lessened his guard in the early minutes but towards the hot part, he buckled up and eventually won with 2-0

“I won!” He screamed, sticking out his tongue at her

She threw the control away and started chasing him round the living room till he knowingly fell on the couch, she jumped on him and pinched his nose

“Fool!” She said, he smiled and her hands slipped on his chest to the couch, making his face closer

He pulled her down to himself and covered the space left between them, her chest met his and their faces are just an inch away from each other

“Sleep on my chest,…. please” he said slowly, gently placing her head on his chest

She quietly succumbed and though her breathing is not steady, her heart is slamming on her chest but it’s the best place she has ever been

Finally she got there. .. home

Past 6pm**

Nina just finished bathing cos she didn’t get the strength to do that since morning, she almost cried her eyes out for the fact that her mum’s badluck is always on her trail

She managed to put something on and came back downstairs, she checked her phone, 30 missed calls from Gold

What will they say if she picks?, Consolation won’t even work

Her doorbell sounded and she spranged up, thinking it’s gold

“Gold?” She said loudly

“It’s Tessy” She voice replied

She opened the door and came face to face with gold’s mum

“Ma’am” she said surprisingly, the last person she was expecting to see at her doorstep

“Just look at your eyes, you cried a lot, definitely” Tessy said, coming in

Nina kept her head down

” Have your seat ma” she said slowly

“No dear, I’ll only spend a short time, forgive my manners, I mean how my mood changed yesterday, as a good mother, I just felt bad at the mention of your mother’s name but my babies told me how awesome you are, golden boy told me you’re important to him, I was told he changed you and you both can’t do without each other”

*As badly as I was concerned about the people’s opinions, I had to drop the policy and do what my son wants so you don’t have to cry again, he’s all yours” Tessy said

Nina finally looked up at her,not believing her ears

” Ma’am…

” Yeah, you heard it right, I won’t interrupt your relationship’ Tessy said

“My mother..

“You’re not your mum and your mum isn’t you” Tessy interrupted

That prompted Nina to hug her tightly and almost immediately, Goldy came in with his sisters, he widened his arms and she rushed to hug him tight…

“Just look at her eyes, I told you she’ll cry all day” Goldy said, stroking her hair

” We’ll excuse you lovebirds, by the way Nina, we’re meeting with Erica, Nelson, Rex and Clinton tomorrow to have fun, I’ll send the location” Cindy said before leaving with Tessy and Lucy

” I’m sorry for bitting your lips” Nina said after they broke the hug

” Don’t say sorry, just stay in my arms” he replied, hugging her again

” You aren’t mad at me right?” She asked

“I’m mad at you, really really mad at you” he replied

She quickly broke the hug and looked up at him, “why are you…

” I’m mad at you cos you aren’t doing the right thing right now” he interrupted

She continued staring at this perfect shinny guy in front of her till the stare turned to smiles

She gently pushed him till he’s backing the wall, a naughty smile crept on his lips and he carried her, she tangled her arms on her neck and made his head stay in the middle

His hands are already staying on her thighs

“Kiss me” he said

“I love you” she replied and her lips traveled to his lips instantly, locking it together in a deep kiss…
