This young lady still had some conscience.

Huo Shidu put down his pen and looked at Pei Yunge.

“Was the bar very fun?” Huo Shidu asked in a light tone.

“…Not really.”

Pei Yunge was halfway through her supper when she heard this question. She almost choked.

Seeing this, Huo Shidu looked away and smirked silently.

Twenty minutes later.

The two of them finished their supper quietly. Not long after, there was a knock on the door.

Aunt Miao pushed open the door and glanced at the two of them with a knowing smile. “Sir, Miss, I’ll take the bowls away now.”

After Aunt Miao left, Huo Shidu’s eyes fell on Pei Yunge, who did not intend to leave.

“Brother, don’t be angry. I know I’m wrong.”

“Brother, it’s already night time.”

Huo Shidu’s eyes curled up, mixed with ambiguous gentleness. They were as frivolous and attractive as his lazy and magnetic voice.

Pei Yunge heard him lower his voice and laugh. Even in the darkness, she could imagine how lazy and intimate he was right now, as he spoke slowly.

Huo Shidu reached out lazily and pinched the back of her neck as if he was teasing her.
