Just as the old lady was feeling uneasy, a soft and pleasant voice suddenly sounded from not too far away.

“Sister!”

Pei Yunge turned around and saw a delightful and cute little kid running over.

He took her hand and nuzzled it, looking a little shy. “Why are you here, Sister? Are you here to see Momo?”

Huo Shidu’s cold and abstruse pale-colored eyes landed on him carelessly before he sat down by the sofa. He reached out lazily and unbuttoned the two buttons on his collar.

His temperament was light and languid.

“Mm, I came to see Momo.” Pei Yunge squatted down, hugged the little fellow and kissed him.

It made the little fellow’s heart flutter and his cheeks flush red.

“I knew Sister liked Momo.”

The man beside her suddenly laughed with an ambiguous meaning.

In the blink of an eye, Pei Yunge saw the handsome and dignified man leaning lazily against the sofa. His clean and well-defined jawline was outstanding and he looked refined and lean.

After regaining her senses, Pei Yunge looked away and did not say anything.

Just then, The old lady carried Momo over with a smile. “Momo, how do you know Sister Pei?”

“Alas is Sister’s pet.”

Momo tilted her head and said in a childish voice.

“I see.”

The old lady was still worried. She glanced at Pei Yunge, hesitant.

She was a high school student!

No way!

It was such a disgrace!

At this thought, the old lady was even more furious with Huo Shidu.

She glared at Huo Shidu, who was sitting lazily beside her, before she kissed Mo Mo. “My darling grandson, when you grow up in the future, don’t be like your brother.”

“If you don’t have a wife, you should know not to come home. ”

Pei Yunge was speechless.

Was there such a family tradition?

Then, the little fellow’s words shocked everyone.

“Grandma, don’t worry. I will find ten wives in the future!”

The old lady’s hand almost trembled when she heard this. “…That’s not necessary.”

Just then, the man, who had remained silent the whole time, chuckled darkly.

Hearing this, Pei Yunge glanced at Huo Shidu instinctively.

He stared straight at her, his eyes unreadable. Then he suddenly laughed and gestured towards her.

“Come here.”

As Pei Yunge sat beside Huo Shidu, she heard him say something calmly.

“Ignore the old lady. Older Brother brought you here to change your mood.”

Hearing this, Pei Yunge was stunned. When she regained her senses, she looked up at Huo Shidu instinctively.

Did Huo Shidu know that she had severed ties with Mrs Qin?

“Momo, bring Older Sister out to play. I have something to say to your brother.” The old lady suddenly put the little fellow down and said.

“Okay!”

Hearing this, the little fellow turned around and pulled Pei Yunge’s hand as they walked towards the second floor. “Sister, Alas misses you too. Let’s go play with Alas!”

“Sure.”

After Pei Yunge regained her senses, she let the little fellow hold her hand as they went upstairs.

After the two of them left, the old lady turned around and sat on the other sofa, looking noble and cold.

“What’s the situation with this young lady?”

Huo Shidu’s tone was light. “Don’t you like young girls? I brought one back, so you can humor her.”

The Old Madam was speechless.

Did she like a young girl?! She liked a granddaughter-in-law?!!

“What nonsense are you talking about?! You’d better be honest with me today. What’s going on between you and this little girl?!”
