“Rumble…”
Right after the first tank burst in, the second followed closely behind.
Behind it were more than ten military trucks, occupied with armed soldiers. They were clad in army-green hats and sporting murderous expressions, glowering at Venomwolf and the rest furiously. This was how much Vandergrifters hated intruders.
Rumble rumble…
All at once, the entire factory rang with deafening sounds like an earthquake.
“Oh my G od, it’s the Vandergrift army.”
“We’ve been targeted by the military forces of Vandergrift, Boss.”
The mercenaries trembled in fear at the sight before them, their faces going pale with terror as half their gusto vanished and they could barely stand.

They understood at once.
This was why Lucian had had the courage to come save this man- he had the Vandergrift army on his side.
Prince Ezekiel’s jaw dropped at the sight, staring at Lucian in disbelief. He had never thought that Lucian would show up with a literal army, but now that he did he was safe now…
After danger was truly over, Prince Ezekiel relaxed at last. He collapsed onto the ground, falling unconscious at once.
“Rumble.” Another deafening sound rang through the air once again.
The roof of the factory was lifted up completely.
The Bl oody Wolves looked over to see a few helicopters. There were rope ladders hanging out of them, unloading what seemed like almost a hundred soldiers clad in black armor at once. They landed on the ground, aiming their guns at the Bl oody Wolves.”
“Row One, block off access at nine o’ clock.”
“Row Two, block off access at twelve o’clock.”
“Row Three, block off access at three o’ clock.”
As Liam’s voice bellowed through the air, the factory was completely surrounded by armed

soldiers to the point where even a fly would not be able to pa** through, let alone the Bl oody
Wolves.
Bloodwolf’s breathing sped up, his eyes filling with terror.
Despite them having their way on the African battlefield, they understood that being targeted by the Vandergrift army was akin to a death sentence. They would hardly be any match for the Vandergrift soldiers.
“You have been fully surrounded. Put down your weapons and surrender, or we’ll have to get physical!”
“This is Vandergrift territory. You have committed a great crime, infiltrating the borders…”
Liam’s voice rang through the factory over and over again.
Every word was a harsh blow to the Bl oody Wolves’ chests, to the point where they were unable to speak for a long time.
Bloodwolf was truly in disbelief, staring at Lucian in terror. He had looked Lucian up before, and he was nothing more than a retired veteran. He had not expected for this guy to be able to call up an entire troop just like that,
How could a nobody veteran be capable of this?
“What are we going to do, Boss?*
One of the members lay next to Bloodwolf, whispering the words lightly. “Should we take a risk and burst out of here? We’ll be dead if we stay here, and I don’t want that.”
“Thud thud thud thud thud.”
Just as the member had spoken, a series of gunshots sounded next to Bloodwolf’s ears.
All that could be seen was this member shot to a bl oody pulp, covered in bullet wounds as he screamed in agony and collapsed to the ground.
“Firwolf…” Bloodwolf called out to his member in grief.
“Silence…”
Lucian called out to him coldly, his eyes glinting like those of a killer. “Tell me who hired you…”
“Will you let us go if we tell you?”
Bloodwolf asked in broken English, the panic in his tone clear as day.

“Thud thud thud thud.”
Just as he had finished speaking, a series of gunshots sounded by his car once again. All that could be seen was another of his comrades laying in a pool of blood, dying instantly. Bloodwolf broke down altogether, his eyes flashing with hopelessness.
Every merc’s worst nightmare….
The entire world knew that Vandergrift was every mercenary’s worst nightmare. Any merc that ended up here would be dead for sure.
Bloodwolf did not believe this!
That was why he had come here for five million American dollars.
“You have no right to be bargaining with me. Out with it, or die.”
Lucian’s voice rang through the air, loud and terrifying.
Bloodwolf jerked as if he had just been struck by lightning, kee ling over onto his knees and lifting his head to look at Lucian. “It was Prince Harry and King Austral of Sioux! They invited us through the phone. I’ve told you now, can you please let me go? I swear to the that I will never mess with the Vandergriftens ever again, and never step foot into your country for the rest of my life.”
Lucian lit a cigarette with a flick of his lighter, staring down at Bloodwolf from above as he took a long drag. “I guarded Vandergrift for seven years tirelessly for it to be known around the world as every merc’s worst nightmare. If I let you go… what are people going to say about me, the Infernal War G od?”
The Infernal War G od…
Bloodwolf and his men trembled all over at the mere mention of the name, their eyes filling with terror and shock.
Everyone had heard of this name, be it in Africa or the rest of the world. It was the Infernal War G od who had shown up on the battlefields of Africa wielding the Vandergrift flag when thirty Vandergrifters were held hostage.
The African army had not shown the Infernal War G od any mercy, demanding for him and the thirty Vandergrifters to stay behind in Africa.
The Infernal War G od had shouldered his national flag, protecting his citizens and fighting a path out for him and the hostages to return home with a single rifle.
One man and one rifle, had made it out of a whole country out to get him.

This battle had made Africa realize that Vandergrift was no small feat, as well as how powerful the Infernal War G od was.
And this man Lucian Gray, was that godly man himself!
Bloodwolf was about to throw up, trembling viciously all over. He opened his mouth to beg, but saw the emotionless glint in Lucian’s eyes and knew that it was over for him!
“Never show your face in Vandergrift ever again!”
Lucian took the rifle from Liam’s hands. “This, is your, worst, nightmare!”
As the words rang through the air!
A bullet pierced through flesh.
The stench of bloodshed permeated the air.
Over at King Austral’s home.
King Austral was in the middle of wining and dining with Prince Harry.
“Don’t worry, my brother! The Blo ody Wolves will make sure that ba stard doesn’t live past tonight. Your broken leg is going to be avenged in no time!” King Austral sucked on his cigarette, staring darkly at Prince Harry.
Prince Harry smirked. “You really are smart, brother. Using Gray Group and the Big Five as capital and hiring mercenaries with half of the money, we’re going to be able to have Lucian Gray dead and make millions at the same time! I respect you.”
A few days ago, Prince Harry, King Austral and the rest had gotten in contact with the Blo ody Wolf Mercenaries. They were not going to use foreign forces seeing as the Infernal War was in Sioux, but could not stand it at last after losing out at the auction.
They spent millions of American dollars to hire a team of mercenaries, first to take down Prince Ezekiel and the Grim Reapers’ forces.
Then take down Lucian.
One sum of money would take care of two tasks. It was a win-win situation.
“Who would have thought that we’d end up the biggest winners, you and I.”
Prince Harry beamed. “When your leg gets better, we’ll join forces and take over Prince Ezekiel and the Grim Reapers’ territory. Then we’ll control the Gray family and the Big Five from the inside, and Sioux will be ours! Lucian’s death is going to bring us so much, I guess he’ll have some value at last when he’s gone. I might just leave his mother and daughter’s bodies whole.”

“We can’t forget that beauty of a wife he’s got!”
King Austral scoffed coldly. “I’m going to screw his wife the second my legs get better. Then after I’ve had my fun with her, I’ll let my men have their turn. After all, beauties like Lucian’s wife are hard to come by. We must make good use of valuable resources.”
“Thump!”
Just as the pair was chatting each other’s ears off, a body came flying from the distance and landed heavily in front of them.
