The slap was a harsh one that sent Prince Harry kee ling backwards on his back. It was clear that Marshall was furious.
“Brother Marshall! What was that for?”
Prince Harry clutched his face in a daze.
Everyone else was stunned as well.
This had not gone the way they had expected it would.
Marshall showed up, and did not take care of Lucian first- he hit Prince Harry instead.
“Who the hell are you calling your brother?”
“Am I even related to you in the slightest?”
“Do I know who you are?”
Marshall delivered every sentence along with another harsh slap to Prince Harry’s face, and a few consecutive slaps later Prince Harry was seeing stars.
Lucian smirked at the show before him, but his gaze was displeased.
Marshall sensed this, and turned around at once. He saw the look in Lucian’s eyes, and trembled all over. If there hadn’t been so many people around, he would have gotten on his knees and begged Lucian to spare him.
“Was it you who called the police?”
Marshall turned to face Lucian, saying the words in a tone of respect.
He remembered that he was not allowed to expose the Infernal War Go d’s real identity, and thus did not dare to say too much.
“Yes, I called the cops.”
Lucian smirked coldly. “I’m starting to regret it, though. Who would have thought that you would be Prince Harry’s cousin, and that you gave him his title, too. I’m just a regular city, I can’t mess with forces like this. How about I cancel my report?”
Whew… Freya and the rest let out a breath.
Lucian was going back on his word now. Perhaps things would not be as bad after this.

It didn’t matter why Marshall hit Prince Harry for now, but the two of them were related. Lucian’s side would be no match for them if a fight were to break out.
Prince Harry did not know how he had offended Marshall, but did not dare to ask much else. All he could do was blame it all on Lucian, roaring, “Only chickening out now, ba stard? It’s too late, got it?”
His anger grew as he spoke.
Prince Harry gestured wildly as he spoke. “You’re f*cking done for! Who do you think you are, trying to sue me?”
Lucian glanced at Prince Harry. “Look, Officer Kane, look how smug he is with you protecting him. How would a regular citizen like me dare report him to the police? Will you let me go if I say sorry, please?”
Marshall was going to throw up. His breathing quickened as his expression grew murderous, and he raised a fist to aim a harsh blow on Prince Harry’s face. “You ba stard, are you trying to get me killed?”
Prince Harry was beaten into silence, standing right where he was in a daze.
The next second, Marshall came up to Lucian at once before folding himself into a low bow. “There’s been a mistake, Mr. Lucian. Prince Harry and I aren’t related at all. He made it all up, please don’t believe him.”
“How am I not supposed to believe him?”
Lucian scoffed coldly.
“What if I begged you?”
Marshall did not know what else to do, and did not dare reveal Lucian’s identity. He did not know how to explain either, and thus just asked the question.
“Oh, but you’re a department officer and I’m just a nobody citizen. It’s not very appropriate for you to beg me, is it…”
Before Lucian could finish speaking, Marshall fell to his knees in front of Lucian with a thud.
What…
The gesture struck everyone in the chest with shock, and their jaws were agape at the sight before them.
He was kneeling…

A police officer was kneeling to Lucian.
What was going on?
Freya, Frank, Annie, Yonny and the rest gasped harshly, truly in shock.
Prince Harry and his men’s faces paled at once.
Were they dreaming?
“What are you kneeling for? Get up!”
Lucian roared in anger.
Marshall got to his feet at once like a frightened bunny at Lucian’s shouting. “I’m sorry, Mr. Lucian. My legs lost feeling and I kneeled by accident, please don’t find fault in me for that.”
Legs losing feeling… what a strained excuse.
Everyone stared at Lucian in terror, completely in shock at the sight before them.
Lucian was supposed to be nothing more than a useless member of the Gray family.
But now… Marshall was bowing to him.
Was Lucian really useless?
Lucian handed the agreement to Marshall. “This is an agreement. They cheated six hundred million dollars from me, and I’m only asking for three hundred million in return by whoever signs this. Or else… I’m going to get to the bottom of this.”
“Alright, alright, I’ll talk to them about this.”
Marshall took the agreement from Lucian, nodding hurriedly.
Talk to them!
More like he was going to order them!
Following that, Marshall turned to glance at Prince Harry and his men before speaking up in a bossy tone, “Whoever’s signing this, find a way to get Mr. Lucian his three hundred million dollars by tomorrow. Pay him a second late, and I’ll make sure you spend the rest of your lives in jail.”
“I’m going to send the account number to Henry. You can send the money there.”
Upon speaking, Lucian turned to look at Freya and the rest. “Fay, Dad, Mom, it’s done. Let’s go.”

Everyone nodded, still in a daze as they left with Lucian.
After they were properly gone, Marshall collapsed onto the sofa. He paid no mind to the shocked looks around him, draining a bottle of mineral water to soothe the terror in his chest.
“Brother, what just happened?”
Prince Harry could hardly contain his indignance. “Why’d you get on your knees for him? You even promised him three hundred million dollars, what was that for?”
Marshall glowered at Prince Harry as he roared, “Are you out of your f*cking mind, saying I’m your cousin and bragging so much? Do you know the Infernal War G od’s in Sioux now? Don’t you think he’ll have me killed if he finds out about our relationship? I’m f*cking retiring in a few months, if this goes out I’m spending the rest of my life behind bars.”
Everyone understood at once.
Marshall had acted so strangely today not because he was scared of Lucian, but because he was scared of the Infernal War G od who was currently in Sioux.
Kneeling and offering a compensation was just Marshall’s way of protecting himself.
If Lucian spread word of what happened today and the Infernal War G od caught wind of it, they would all be toast.
Everyone eventually understood where Marshall was coming from.
Marshall regained some of his strength before speaking. “You’re all going to be on your best behavior until the Infernal War goes back! None of you are getting out alive if the Infernal War G od has got his eye on you! Especially you, Henry! Why did you fail to enter the market? Are you a f*cking idiot?”
Henry smiled painfully. “You’re right, Officer Kane. The Infernal War G od is very powerful, we can’t mess with him.”
“That’s d*mn right. I’m leaving.”
Marshall scoffed coldly, slamming a hand onto the table before leaving the auction.
