Upon hearing that, Queenie and Pablostared at Gary.
“Why are you guys looking at me likethat?” Gary asked.
“They threatened uswith criminal evidence. They are sodespicable. Can’t we do the same?
Notonly that, they are now Staleridge WarGod’s top enemy. If we can eliminatethem, Staleridge War God might beimpressed.”
“Yeah, you’re right,” Pablo raised his handin agreement. He looked at Queenie andasked, “Don’t you agree? Do you reallywant to return so much money to thatbrat?”
“No, of course not.”
Hesitant, Queenie looked at Pablo and then at Gary again. She had no choice but to nod. “So, what are we going to do?”
“Well, do you know Shiloh?” Gary seemed to have a plan in mind.
“Shiloh?” Queenie and Pablo took a deep breath. They had never considered Shiloh before, as he was the best fighter. He could defeat anyone with a single punch. It would be easy for him to defeat Lucian. However, his services were not cheap.
“He’s not cheap, right?” Queenie asked.
“Well, he’s not too expensive. About 5 million dollars. It won’t cost too much if we split the cost,” Gary replied.
“Sure, no problem!” Pablo nodded.
Alright then,” Queenie also nodded. “If we can impress Staleridge War God, 5 million is nothing.”
The next afternoon, Lucian had mixed feelings as he arrived at his former high school.
Ten years had passed and everything had changed. However, the fast food restaurant outside the school remained the same.
The owner and his wife were still there, and that was the only place Lucian felt familiar with.
“Lucian, is that you?”
The lady boss recognized Lucian at a glance.
“Yes, it’s me…” Lucian nodded.
The lady boss was so excited that she grabbed Lucian’s hand. Although many students had dined in their restaurant, she remembered Lucian.
Lucian was Alexander’s son. Alexander was known as the Father of Commerce. Although Lucian came from a wealthy family, he would come to have his meals at the restaurant.
Lucian didn’t mind that the restaurant was small. He even volunteered to help when the restaurant was crowded with customers.
“Lucian, I’m so glad to see you again. Come, let me cook something nice for you. They’re inside.”
“There’re inside…” Lucian thought to himself.
Hearing that, Lucian knew Queenie and the others were inside. However, he still chatted with the owner for a while before entering the restaurant.
Inside, Queenie, Pablo, and Gary were chatting. As soon as they saw Lucian, they instantly fell silent.
Lucian smiled and joined them.
All of a sudden, the atmosphere became awkward. Queenie, Pablo, and Gary couldn’t help but glare at Lucian.
“Honestly, I never thought we would meet again after seven years just because you guys don’t pay me back,” Lucian sighed. His face darkened.

“Lucian! Cut the crap. We weren’t that close in school,” Pablo sneered. He then lit a cigarette and said, “You were just a tool. But from the moment your father passed away, you became useless to us.”

“I was just a tool? Really?” Lucian asked, glaring.
“Yeah…” Gary nodded and continued, “You’re only rich because of your father. But now that he’s dead, you’re nothing. Look at yourself. You’re like a beggar on the street.”
“I’m just reclaiming my money and you say I look like a beggar?” Lucian couldn’t help but snigger. “Then what about you guys? You owe me money. What should I call you?”
“We didn’t owe you anything. Your father gave us the money. We didn’t ask for it. Now that he’s dead, why should we pay you back?” Gary took a long drag on his cigarette.
Hearing that, Lucian was furious. He couldn’t help but clench his fists. He was infuriated by Gary’s words.
“Your father gave us the money. We didn’t ask for it. Now that he’s dead, why should we pay you back? They are so shameless!” Lucian thought to himself.
“So, why did you guys show up if you don’t plan to pay me back?” Lucian asked angrily.
“Because we want you dead. If you hadn’t shown up today, you might have lived longer. But now that you’re here, there’s no way for you to escape. We’ve set up many traps,” Queenie finally spoke up after remaining silent for a long time.
“Oh, really?” Lucian smirked. “I’d like to see what traps you’ve set up for me.”
“Do you know Shiloh?” Queenie asked again.
Hearing that, Lucian couldn’t help but frown. He thought for a moment and suddenly remembered.
“Shiloh? The guy who passed out after I punched him when the Gray Group went public?”
“You don’t know him? Well, he’s the most remarkable fighter, and we paid 5 million for him to kill you. Not only that, but we also have a few hundred lackeys today just to take you down. That cost us another 1 million,” Queenie said arrogantly.
Lucian had to die that day.
“You guys are so foolish.” Lucian took a sip of his tea. “If you had given me 6 million, I might have considered sparing you. But you’ve made the wrong decision. You’ve made the wrong move by hiring someone to kill me.”
Hearing that, Queenie, Pablo, and Gary were stunned. However, they couldn’t help but burst out laughing the next second.
“Lucian, how dare you say that we’re foolish?” Gary sneered.
“Yes, very foolish.” Lucian glared. “Shiloh means nothing to me, and you guys hired him to defeat me? Aren’t you a bunch of idiots?”
