The arrogance in Liam’s gaze was enough to make Sam quiver in fear. He knew better than to provoke the Three-Star War King.
“Today, I am taking Lucian with me. Will you try to stop me?” Liam’s voice was calm and steady, yet it carried an undeniable air of authority.
“N-no, I wouldn’t dare,” Sam stuttered, his breath becoming shallow as he felt the weight of Liam’s oppressive aura bearing down on him like a mountain.
With a contemptuous snort, Liam flicked his hand and led his soldiers away, leaving Sam to ponder the unshakable power of the Three-Star War King.
As Azure Dragon War King and his entourage departed from the casino, the tense atmosphere gradually dissipated. However, many still remained in a state of shock and awe, especially William, who had been completely overwhelmed by the aura of the Three-Star War King.

“Sam, where is my son? Speak up!” Jane realized that something was terribly wrong and grabbed Sam by the collar, asking him with a fierce and menacing tone.
“Mr. Guevara… he’s… he’s dead,” Sam hesitated for a long while before finally mustering up courage to speak the truth.

The crowd was stunned into silence, especially Leo and Jane. When they heard of their son’s pa**ing, their minds went blank, completely losing their ability to think. Jane, in particular, sat on the ground, as if struck by a bolt of lightning.
The entire room fell silent as everyone’s gaze was fixed on the couple, not daring to make a sound.

Meanwhile, at The Village Restaurant in the suburbs…
Gabriel and the others had been waiting anxiously for Simon and his group to return. Finally, they arrived, and to everyone’s relief, Dennis was unharmed. They all expressed their gratitude to Lucian, but he remained cold and distant, barely speaking to anyone.
Dennis, being the blabbermouth he is, immediately told the Bowman family about Azure Dragon War King coming to rescue Lucian. The group was impressed by Lucian’s ability to call on such a powerful ally, and they surrounded him, showering him with compliments and praise. Gabriel was practically groveling at Lucian’s feet, revealing his true character.

Lucian simply nodded in response, remaining aloof and distant from the group. He turned to Simon and said, “Uncle Simon, I’ll come by tomorrow to pick up my father’s IOU. Prepare it tonight.”
“Sure thing,” Simon replied.

Without further ado, Lucian bid farewell and headed back to Maple Garden. There, he found Freya and the others gathered in the living room, chatting away. Lucian briefly asked Freya about her workday, and she a**ured him that everything was normal.
“Lucian, where have you been all day? We haven’t seen you,” Freya inquired.
“I was hanging out with some friends,” replied Lucian.
He didn’t tell the three of them about what happened today, or else it would have caused disastrous consequences.
Lucian’s conflicts with Oscar and Larry had left all three of them unhappy. If they were to find out about what happened today, it would be catastrophic.
“Mhm,” Freya poured Lucian a gla** of water and spoke softly, “Are you still upset?”
Annie and Frank looked up at Lucian with a hint of awkwardness. It was clear that they didn’t really want to be angry with him, but their seniority and age made it difficult for them to lower

their heads and make amends first.
“Why would I be upset?” Lucian replied.
Lucian immediately took the opportunity to serve his elders a gla** of water, saying, “Mom, Dad, have some water.”
As soon as Lucian made this gesture, Annie and Frank eagerly accepted the gla**es of water from him. The tension between them had been broken.
The next morning, Sioux was rocked by several shocking news stories!
“Dawkin’s Guevara family scion and the Gray family’s abandoned kid play the deadly game, resulting in death.”
