Magic Kingdom was extremely well–liked in Sioux and frequently packed, especially on weekends.

Minnie led the way, and she anxiously urged her father, “Lucian, aren’t you saying you want to ride the roller coaster? Hurry up and walk faster.”

“Alright, alright, I’m coming,” Lucian chuckled and quickly caught up with the girl.

He now realized what Freya was trying to do.

Freya knew Minnie was not attending school today, so she refused to have him accompany her to the Harrison family’s old residence. She purposefully gave the father and daughter a chance to bond.

Lucian made the decision to spend the day with his daughter because he could not let Freya’s efforts go to waste. This change was not easy to come by.

They needed to queue to buy tickets. They started to line up at eight–thirty in the morning and waited until nine o’clock to get their tickets to enter the amusement park. They also had to wait in line for the roller coaster.

Minnie kept scanning the area with her clear and eager eyes as the father and daughter waited in line. She would very soon get to ride a roller coaster for the first time. She became a little uneasy all of a sudden.

“Daddy, don’t be scared, okay?” Minnie looked at Lucian and comforted him.

Lucian smiled and questioned, “What if I’m scared?”

“If you’re scared, you can scream out loud. I might scream too,” Minnie said after pausing for a brief moment.

Snicker…When he heard this, Lucian nearly laughed out loud.

This young girl is incredibly adept at maintaining her image.

Lucian a**umed a solemn nod because he was aware that Minnie wanted to maintain her image in front of him.

Despite being the powerful Infernal War God, Lucian did not use any special rights to cut the line. He also enjoyed waiting in lines and wanted to share that experience with his daughter.

At ten thirty in the morning, it was finally Lucian and Minnie’s turn.

A loud shouting suddenly erupted from a nearby location at this precise moment.

Through a megaphone, an employee at the amusement park yelled, “Everyone, clear out the area. This attraction is closing. The roller coaster is required for filming by Duncan Webb, an A–list actor. You can go to other attractions and come back tomorrow for the roller coaster.”

Lucian turned around when he heard this and saw a group of crews approaching them carrying various filming equipment.

A young man wearing a mask and a baseball cap stood out among the group the most. Numerous fans had gathered around him. However, he had a haughty expression on his face and disdained the fans standing around him.

The situation rendered him powerless. As an A–list celebrity, he was incredibly well–liked and always the center of attention, with throngs of fans following him everywhere he went.

The crowd waiting to ride the roller coaster appeared disappointed, but many youngsters were thrilled. Even though they could not ride the roller coaster when their favorite star arrived, they could still enjoy Duncan’s charisma.

“Oh my gosh! Duncan is here! He’s so handsome!”

“Quick! Quick! Let’s try for a group photo if there’s a chance.”

“Wow! In person, he is more attractive than he is on television. No wonder he’s my idol; even the way he walks exudes style.”

When they saw Duncan, a group of fangirls attacked him like ravenous wolves who had been starving for days.

It was easy to see the disappointment in Minnie’s eyes. She asked with a downcast expression, “Daddy, does it mean we can’t ride it now?”

“We can.”

Lucian grinned and rubbed Minnie’s head. He said, “As long as it’s something Minnie wants to play with, I’ll always satisfy your need. Before they start filming the movie, I’ll speak with the staff and have them let you ride the roller coaster once.”

“Is that possible?” Minnie asked and gazed at Lucian with a dubious look.

An amusement park employee rudely approached Lucian. He shouted, “Hey! Why are you two still standing there? Leave now. Didn’t you hear me earlier? The A–list star is shooting a movie here, so move quickly. Can you take the blame for the delay in the filming?”

Lucian said politely and tried to negotiate with him, “Hi, my daughter has been waiting in line for over an hour just to ride this roller coaster. She needs to go to school tomorrow. Can you let her ride once before the filming starts?”

The staff member looked horrified and yelled, “What the hell did you just say? Do you have any idea how much the film crew charges for every second that pa**es? Who the hell do you think you are to make them wait for your daughter?”

“What did you take my daughter for?”

Instantaneously, Lucian’s expression turned gloomy. He asked in a deep voice, “Who the hell is Duncan? You are just shooting a movie. Is it necessary to make such a big fuss? Is there a need for such a fuss? I would have a**umed Lord Protector had shown up if I didn’t know any better.”

As a warrior who fought to defend the country on the battlefield, he despised these celebrities. The generals who shed blood and sweat to defend the nation always go unnoticed and are not recognized, while these high–priced, talentless celebrities are the focus of global obsession. With just a scratch of their fingertips, they made the headlines.

“Who the hell is Lord Protector? What are they compared to Duke?”

A fangirl said, “Do you know how many fans Duke has? He has more than 100 million followers on Instagram alone. The Lord Protector has to make way for him. Do you realize that these days, everything revolves around popularity and gaining followers?”

“What are you talking about?”

The girl’s distorted worldview astounded Lucian. He had an incredulous look on his face.

The Lord Protector is less significant in their eyes than a girlish male celebrity. They wouldn’t have had peace and prosperity to idolize these celebrities without the soldiers who shed blood and sweat on the battlefield.

At this point, a crew member from the production team approached them. He shouted angrily as he pointed at Lucian, “We need to set up now. Those who aren’t part of the crew need to clear out the place now.”

With an icy expression, Lucian calmly stated, “My daughter has waited for an hour just to ride the roller coaster. Tomorrow, she must attend school. You all can film your movie after she rides the ride.”

Everyone was stunned, and the scene fell silent. The crowd stared at Lucian incredulously.

“What nonsense are you talking about?”

Halbert Mason, an A–list movie director, approached and asked, “Are you here to look for trouble? Do you know how much it costs per second to have Duncan make an appearance in my movie? You want so many of us to make way so your daughter can ride the roller coaster. Are you crazy? Who the hell is your daughter, anyway?”

“What did you just say?”

The expression on Lucian’s face grew menacing. He looked like a ferocious beast, ready to attack. He warned, “I’m telling you, none of you will shoot the movie until my daughter finishes her ride today.

These words come from me, Lucian Gray. No matter who you send to talk me out of it, I wouldn’t change my mind!”
