In the afternoon, Aaron visited the hospital where Keyra was being treated with his father. He walked down the hospital corridor and stopped in front of the nursery that the nurse indicated.

Aaron silently stared at Keyra sitting in a wheelchair with her hands attached to an IV, with Daniel standing behind her. He saw them staring at the two baby in the incubator.

‘If I wasn’t so stupid following mom’s unreasonable grudge, maybe I would be by your side right now. watching our children together and living with them, raising them, but all that will just be wishful thinking forever in my life,’ Aaron thought regretfully.

Mike watched his son who looked sad as he looked into the room through the glass door. “Aaron, come on in. Let’s see your daughters,” he called out.

Aaron took a deep breath and then exhaled slowly, trying not to be sad and strong seeing Keyra and her daughters would never be his. ‘Remember, Aaron. .at home there is Sonia who is also pregnant with your child and Sonia loves you more than anything,’ he thought to himself.

Mike and Aaron opened the glass door, then entered the baby room which was only for Keyra’s twins. .there are two incubators, a special wardrobe for babies, a cupboard containing milk-making equipment, and a cupboard containing medical equipment. There was a table and chairs, where a nurse was sitting as a babysitter.

“Aaron,” Daniel greeted when he noticed Aaron and Mike’s presence.

Keyra turned to look at Aaron, who had not seen him in a long time since he was at the police station signing the divorce agreement. she smiled so warmly at the man who was still her husband, then looked back at the babies as if to show that they had been born healthy.

“Congratulations, Keyra. You have succeeded in being a mother, a great mother,” Aaron said then looked at the babies.

outside, Mike waited as he sat in a chair. Sometimes he glanced at the nurses and hospital visitors passing by in front of him. But there was a familiar figure walking with a woman holding a baby.

“Nia.” Mike stared in surprise at Nia and Jasmine who were walking together. He knows Jasmine is Keenan’s wife, but he doesn’t know who is Jasmine for Nia?

“Mike.” Nia stares dumbly at Mike who is now getting older, just like her. almost 23 years, she has never seen the face of a jerk who had impregnated her, then left her just like that for another woman.

“Mom, but he wants to talk to you. he’s Keyra’s father-in-law,” said Jasmine feeling bad for Mike.

“I just wanted to talk for a minute,” Mike said pleadingly.

“Okay, let’s talk outside,” Nia exclaimed, then walked down the hospital corridor with Mike following immediately.

Jasmine looked suspiciously at Nia and Mike. “That’s very strange. Mommy doesn’t usually act arrogantly towards someone, especially that person who is Keyra’s father-in-law. Mommy should be polite,” she grumbled and then turned to glance at the baby she was carrying.

“Your grandma is weird, son. we’d better see the twins,” she said talking to her baby who was not even three months old.

Arriving outside the hospital, Mike and Nia decided to chat at the restaurant opposite the hospital. they sat opposite each other and were silent without ordering food first.

“Waitress,” Mike called.

“No need to bother with orders. We’ll just talk straight away,” Nia exclaimed curtly.

Mike sighed in exasperation, then looked at Nia who was prettier than Sarah. “Nia, I’m sorry for leaving you just like that.”

“It’s been a long time and I’ve forgotten you. The word sorry is useless to me because for me you were gone after you left me,” Nia said with all the hatred in her heart.

“I was stupid for choosing to leave you, but at that time I was very sad because it turned out that Sarah never accepted me. I didn’t marry her at all, because I decided to leave,” Mike explained regretfully. Because now Sarah still doesn’t accept it and is in jail for fraud.
