Nia rushed back into the house to her room through the stairs in a hurry. The middle-aged woman looked so panicked because her daughter didn’t accept it right away and instead ran into the car. she didn’t expect things to get this complicated and She felt she had to show proof that she was her real mother.

Arriving in the room, Nia approached the dressing table where she put her bag. She immediately grabbed the wallet and took an old and crumpled photo, then carried it out of the room and out of the house across the stairs.

Keenan opened the car door and tried to talk to Jasmine who was sobbing. “Honey, what happened? Why are you crying?”

“She said she’s my mom, that can’t be because my mom is Marta,” Jasmine explained through sobs. “I can’t believe it, because the one who takes care of me who feeds me every day is mommy, not her!”

Keenan stared at Jasmine who was still in shock. “Calm down, I’ll try to ask Mrs. Nia for an explanation,” he said later..

“There’s nothing to explain, maybe she just confessed without being able to give evidence! I only have one mother, that’s Marta.” Jasmine was even more annoyed and then closed the car door again.

Keenan looked pityingly at Nia who was so saddened by Jasmine’s unexpected response. He immediately grabbed the old photo and said, “hope this can convince her and you will be able to love each other after this, I will try to persuade her.”

Why does she have the heart to let me in trouble while she lives in luxury,’ she thought while looking at the house.

“Honey,” called Keenan who had not yet driven his car.

Jasmine just looked away without responding.

“Okay, we’ll go there,” Keenan replied then immediately drove his car towards the exit gate. He immediately drove towards the road to Marta’s house which was about 55 km from Nia’s house.

Nia started to cry again when Keenan’s car was gone and was nowhere to be seen. She leaned her head on his husband’s shoulder and sobbed.

“Am I not worthy to be her mother. She even immediately refused before I explained everything,” she said sadly.
