Daniel stopped his car right in front of the mansion where the car carrying Nia stopped. He monitored the middle-aged woman who was currently walking into the luxurious house which was dominated by white paint, there were several flowers embedded in pots that were neatly arranged on the terrace. The yard is quite spacious and there is a garage where wildan’s luxury car is neatly lined up there.

“She’s a rich woman, why did she go to the pimp? Could it be that her husband is cheating on her? Or does she have very important business with the pimp?” Daniel monologued with himself while rubbing his thin hairy chin.

Out of curiosity, Daniel finally got out of the car and approached the security guard who was about to close the gate.

“Sir, wait a minute,” Daniel shouted as he jogged over to the security guard.

“What’s the matter, sir?” asked the security guard.

“Does the woman who just walked in have a husband who likes to be out at night or out after hours?” Daniel asked back while glancing at the luxurious house.

“No, sir, Her husband is sick and hasn’t been out of the house for a long time…maybe go out just to a check-up at the hospital.” The security guard explained while looking into Daniel’s eyes as if he was suspicious of why he was asking about his employer.

Daniel nodded in understanding and looked back at the luxurious house in front of him. ‘If her husband is sick, why did she go to the pimp? what is the need, could there be anything else? I have to look for information or ask directly.’

“What’s wrong, sir, is there something I need to tell my employer?” asked the security guard.

Daniel’s daydream was broken, he looked back at the security guard. “No sir. Thanks for the information, now I have to go.”

The security guard nodded and let Daniel go back to the car. Daniel immediately drove his car to Ethan’s house, because he lived there.

.keyra was sitting relaxed on the front porch of her house while looking up at the clear sky with the moon shining perfectly bright. Perfect as her heart was in love with Aaron. the girl was relaxing wearing plain pink pajamas combined with a maroon blazer, her chest looked a bit open and made her look hot and sexy. Sometimes she embraced her own body because of the night wind that blew, making her hair fly.

Keyra, who was looking up at the sky, turned to look at the car that had just entered the gate. She thought it was Kevin, but it wasn’t. The man who got out of the car was Daniel, who looked disheveled, still wearing the suit he had been wearing since this morning.

“Daniel,” said Keyra, because she is a friendly person.

Daniel only responded to Keyra by smiling and nodding.

“Are you working overtime?” Keyra asked when Daniel was close to her.

“No, I’m just finishing other business,” Daniel replied with a smile and then sat down beside Keyra. He turned to glance at the daughter of his father’s best friend with a little flutter because it was really beautiful and charming. Her humble demeanor makes him feel comfortable every time she is near him.

“Why outside, isn’t it cold?” asked Daniel then looked at the view of the atmosphere in front of the luxurious house.

“I’m hot, that’s why I went out to get some fresh air,” explained Keyra casually.

“Oh, it’s hot, especially since this morning I haven’t showered again,” Daniel said with a shy smile then took off his suit.

“I know you haven’t taken a shower, because your smell is very strong infiltrating my nostrils,” Keyra replied by moving her body away from Daniel while covering her nose.

Immediately Daniel inhaled his scent by lifting his arm and bringing his face close to his armpit. .”Do I stink?”

“Yeah, you smell so bad, I can’t take it anymore.” Keyra further distanced herself from Daniel by keeping her nose and mouth closed.

Daniel inhaled his scent again and felt himself not stink…He frowned as he glanced at Keyra who was now smiling at him.

“Hahaha I’m just kidding, you still smell good!” Keyra patted Daniel’s shoulder while chuckling because she was exasperated at his surprised expression due to the smell.

“I think I stink because my body feels sticky,” said Daniel, blushing.

“No, you still smell good, the smell of your perfume is still strong.” Keyra smiled reassuringly then got up from her seat. “Come on in, I have to draw,” she called out later.

Daniel immediately got up from his seat and entered the house with Keyra by walking leisurely while hanging his suit on his right arm.

“Aren’t you sleepy? Why are you still drawing at night?” asked Daniel as he turned to glance at Keyra who was walking while pocketing her hand in her blazer pocket.

“No, I have trouble sleeping,” said Keyra, occasionally turning to glance at Daniel, who he admitted was also handsome and dashing with his thin beard which added to the macho impression.

“Don’t force yourself to draw too much, because it can make you think too much and it’s hard to sleep. Face everything calmly,” Daniel exclaimed.

“This feels like a mission, so I can’t help but think about it,” Keyra said angrily. “I want to achieve my goal of becoming a famous designer.”

“Good luck, but you have to stick to your sleep and diet.” Daniel reminded me until he stopped in the living room. “I’m going to my room first.”

“Me too.” .keyra immediately went up the stairs to her room which was located on the top floor, while Daniel walked to his room which was on the lower floor to be precise in the guest room.

Nia walked into her room feeling sad thinking about Jasmine who might hate her when she found out she was her real mother who had entrusted her to a pimp that had to be sold.

“I’m not a good mother,” Nia grumbled as she walked up the stairs to her room which was located on the top floor.

Arriving in the room, Nia breathed a sigh of relief when she found her husband lying on the bed with his eyes closed. .she immediately approached her husband and then kissed his forehead lovingly.

“Are you home?” The middle-aged man woke up when he realized his forehead was kissed.

Nia just nodded then thought of Jasmine. “I already know where my daughter is,” she said angrily.

“Really, where is she?” asked the man still lying down.

“She is with her husband,” answered Nia, looking down languidly. “She is married and it turns out that her husband is my business partner. My friend who raised her sold her to the man and now they are married.”

The middle-aged man listened to his wife’s explanation, then stroked her hair lovingly. “Then why are you sad? Didn’t we always want to meet her?”

“I don’t have the courage. because of me, she suffered and had to sell herself to serve Marta who claimed to be her biological mother. She must hate me because I left it to a woman who will only sell it.” Nia’s tears slowly fell she wanted to meet and hug her daughter, but guilt always haunted her.

“You can’t raise her because you lost track of her, so don’t keep blaming yourself…You’ve been trying hard to find her all this time,” said the man assuring that his wife was not completely wrong he accepts his wife who turns out to have a daughter before marrying him, he accepts it because he can’t give birth and does promise to accept his wife as she is and whatever her past is.
