Marta was silent looking at Nia who was now walking into the living room. Her surprise turned to hatred when he saw that the woman’s appearance was very elegant and looked like a career woman while she used to be a prostitute like herself.

“It seems that there are shameless people here. Come looking for a child who has been ignored for years. Have your veins of shame been broken, Nia?” Marta immediately quipped Nia, who had broken her promise.

“What do you mean by saying that, Marta? I came to pick up my daughter because I was sure I could give her the life she deserves.” Nia shook her head not understanding why Marta looked angry at her.

With teary eyes, she looked at her friend and shook her head. “I didn’t mean to abandon her, I came to your house 18 years ago to pick her up, but you weren’t there, your house was sealed and I tried to look for you everywhere but I couldn’t find you. You took my daughter away!”

“I told you from the start that my life wasn’t easy, of course, I moved around when the police started looking for my place to be raided! I took care of your daughter in poverty and she had to pay for all this because you didn’t come to see me either!” Marta confirmed as she turned her face away, staring at a photo hanging on the wall with a maroon frame.

“What do you mean she has to pay for all this? Did you sell my daughter?” Nia asked with a look of anger and worry about her daughter’s fate.

Marta smiled triumphantly then sat on the couch very casually crossing her legs. She lit the cigarette available on the table and immediately smoked it. “At first I didn’t want to sell her out of pity, I let her go to college on a scholarship because she turned out to be smart. But….”

“But what?” Nia immediately asked as she sat down beside Marta by continuing to look at her suspiciously.

“There are two men who want to buy it expensively and make her a wife. Your daughter is living well now, you don’t have to worry. She will give me lots of money again and again because she loves me as her mother.” Marta explained with a triumphant smile.

Nia shook her head in disbelief at what she heard. She didn’t expect her best friend to sell her daughter. “You are EVIL! Why would you sell my daughter?”

“I’m not going to waste a lot of money that has been promised by the man who likes your daughter, besides she was willing to be bought and gave all the money to me. She is very obedient and weak because of her devotion to me as her mother.” Marta said casually then smoked her cigarette and blew a puff of smoke in the direction of the 17-year-old photo of Jasmine hanging on the wall.

“But I’m his mother, I’m the one who conceived and gave birth to her!” Nia asserted with teary eyes, imagining that she was still pregnant with her daughter without a husband and gave birth only with the help of a midwife in her rented apartment.

“But I took care of her since she was a baby, I fed her educated her, provide her with facilities. And now, it was time for her to pay. After all, she’s happy with the man who bought it for a billion.”

“Where is she now?” Nia asked sadly, then glanced at the photo that Marta had been staring at from a distance. She immediately got up from the sofa and approached the photo. ‘I feel like I’ve seen it before, but where? Is she my daughter?’

“She’s married and lives a life full of wealth with her husband,” said Marta while glancing at Nia who was looking at Jashmine’s photo.

“Is she my daughter?” Nia asked while pointing at the photo of Jasmine.

“Stupid! You should have realized she was your daughter because her face is very similar to yours!” said Marta with a sarcastic smile.

Nia immediately grabbed the photo, removing it from the nail hanging from the frame. She stared and fingered the photo and remembered the figure she had met at a wedding. The middle-aged woman kept on remembering and remembering until her eyes finally widened when she realized something.

“Is she the one who married Keenan?” Nia asked, turning her head to look at Marta sharply.

“Yes,” said Marta, then got up from the sofa. “Are you going to meet her? claiming to be her mother? I’m sure she will hate you because you have entrusted it to me!”

Nia stared at the photo of her daughter that she had been looking for all this time and it turned out that yesterday she had met her in a state of not knowing each other and already married. For a moment she was happy, but Marta’s words seemed to be a slap in the face to her and made her afraid to admit to being her biological mother because she had entrusted her to a cunning woman like Marta.

The middle-aged woman cried in regret and longing but was helpless.

“She will hate you!” Marta reiterated then smoked her cigarette and blew a puff of smoke at Nia who was crying in regret.

Elsewhere at 08.05 pm Japanese time, Keenan and Jasmine returned to the hotel where they were staying after having dinner at a restaurant. In a hotel room with white wall paint and silver ceiling and glass windows with silver frames, Keenan sits on the edge of the bed while talking over the phone, while Jasmine is taking a shower.

“Daniel, investigate everything thoroughly because I want to make my wife happy by knowing who she is and who her biological mother is,” said Keenan to Daniel who was connected to him via WhatsApp calls.

“Okay, I will inform you as soon as possible. Because I have received instructions. I’m sure, after returning from Japan all these problems will be sorted out and you can bring Jasmine to her birth mother,” said Daniel from the phone.

Keenan nodded in disbelief while glancing at Jasmine who had come out of the bathroom wearing only a bathrobe while drying her hair with a small towel. “I’ll call again later,” he called then immediately hung up the phone.

Keenan approached Jasmine, who was standing in front of the dressing table mirror while stroking her hair which was still wet because there was no hairdryer. He immediately hugged his wife from behind and kissed the nape of her neck, inhaling the fragrance of the soap.

“Call who?” Jasmine asked as she looked up feeling Keenan’s lips on her neck, she had stopped drying her hair.

“Danie,” Keenan said briefly then turned Jasmine around to face him. He immediately kissed his wife’s lips and sucked, feeling the fresh and sweet sensation of his wife’s lips. Jasmine immediately returned the kiss while touching Keenan’s neck and letting her tongue fuse with her husband’s for a moment sucking each other with their eyes closed.

Keenan let go of the kiss and then touched Jasmine’s slightly wet lips and looked at her naturally beautiful face which was panting heavily from kissing her in a little room.. ‘I promise I’ll find your real mother soon and you won’t continue to be trapped by that pimp,’ he thought then kissed her lips again
