Keenan stopped the car, then turned to look at Jasmine who was nervous about his gaze. Did he look at the girl, wondering if he really should marry her? but there are many things to think about before taking that big step, especially since he has just been entrusted by his father to become the second CEO, he doesn’t want to suddenly marry by compulsion.

“Why to stop?” she asked.

Instead of answering, Keenan asked back, “Would you like me to marry you?”

“I don’t know,” Jasmine replied then said again, “but I’m already yours, I can’t refuse.”

“Do you like me?” asked Keenan reflexively. maybe it’s too soon, but it’s done.

“Do you like me too?” Jasmine asked again.

Keenan didn’t flinch for a moment to make up his mind. “I think I like you.”

“It seems new, don’t like it yet, so I am too.” Jasmine instead followed Keenan’s answer.

“Do you believe in love at first sight?” asked Keenan seriously.

“I don’t know, I’ve never loved anyone,” said Jasmine with a shrug.

“Then learn it,” said Keenan, then drove his car back to the apartment

Jasmine just nodded in response. while on the way to the apartment, the girl was silent with complicated thoughts. she didn’t know how to repay Keenan. if asked to marry, maybe she is willing because Keenan is a handsome and kind man, but she is afraid that Keenan’s parents will reject her because she is the daughter of a pimp.

Arriving at the apartment, Keenan asked the security guard to help carry Jashmine’s suitcase, then he gave the girl the card he usually uses to access the entrance to his apartment unit.

“Bring this, but it’s best not to go out unless it’s for important business,” Keenan exclaimed. “I have to go to the office soon, take care of yourself.”

“Be careful,” Keyra replied with a meaningful look at Keenan who sacrificed so much for her, she ventured to tiptoe to kiss Keenan’s cheek.

Keenan was stunned and silent after getting a kiss from Jasmine, he immediately pulled Jasmine who was about to walk into the building following the security guard.

jasmine looked down unable to meet Keenan’s dark blue eyes that were so intensely staring at her. she was so sorry, though Keenan was angry because she suddenly kissed him. ‘I shouldn’t have kissed him and I should have realized he wouldn’t marry a girl like me.’

Keenan cupped Jasmine’s face with both hands, continuing to stare at her intensely. “Is there love here?”

“I don’t know,” Jasmine whispered then lowered her head to let Keenan’s hand on her face. “You have to go before you’re too late.”

Keenan sighed then kissed Jasmine’s forehead. “I’m sure there’s love here.”

Jasmine was silent and then allowed Keenan to leave immediately, while she ran into the magnificent apartment building to catch up with the security guard who was probably almost on the 25th floor.

keyra was relaxing in the room after bathing and having breakfast. She wore an oversized black t-shirt combined with thigh-high white jeans, letting her slightly wavy brown hair flow beautifully.

The girl opened a gift from Kevin which turned out to contain design equipment. “Wow, Kevin is very understanding of what I want.”

Keyra immediately brought the writing utensil to the Study desk and started drawing, but just as she started to draw her pencil, there was a call from the door.

“Keyra… Key, let’s go with mommy for a bit.”

Keyra sighed then got up from the chair and walked towards the door and opened it. “Where, Mom?”

“Shopping for the barbeque tonight,” answered Luna, who was already neatly wearing silver basic pants combined with a white top, letting her hair flow beautifully.

“Just take Kevin, Mom,” said Keyra.

Luna rolled her eyes. “Take Kevin is the same as carrying parasites, he won’t want to help mom to shop!”

“Well, I’ll take the bag for a while,” said Keyra, then went back into the room to take the sling bag that she always carried.

Keyra approached her mother again and asked her to immediately go to the mall. The mother and daughter looked even more like sisters because the mother was too young.

“Mom,” Keyra called while focusing on driving.

“Yes, Love?” asked Luna.

“Does Keenan often wander incoherently?” Keyra even asked back.

“Maybe with Aldric,” answered Luna, glancing at the roadside view from the car window.

“I’ve already contacted Aldric,” said Keyra.

“Then?”

“Keenan hasn’t been with him since this afternoon, so who is with him? I feel that there is something Keenan is doing behind us,” explained Keyra ambitiously.

Luna sighed. “There are lots of other Keenan friends too, I’m sure Keenan won’t do anything weird.”

“I’m just suspicious, Mom. he usually cares a lot about me and our birthdays, but earlier, he seemed to be deliberately avoiding talking to me. Or maybe he’s with someone I don’t know.” Keyra felt something odd about Keenan.

“It’s just your thoughts, Keenan must be having business with his friend.” Luna still defends Keenan. Then she thought of Aaron.

“Is Aaron a native Indonesian citizen?” asked Luna.

“I don’t know, I haven’t asked, but I feel sorry for him,” Keyra remembered Aaron’s story last night.

Luna frowned. “Why?”

“He’s an orphan and lives in someone’s house who doesn’t want him,” explained Keyra.

“I’m so sorry, I hope he gets happiness soon,” said Luna with a face that implied sadness.

“Can I take him to a party tonight with our family?” she asked.

“It’s okay, so he feels like he has a family,” answered Luna with a smile.

Keyra breathed a sigh of relief because neither her father nor mother judged Aaron badly even though they had just met.

Keenan was at a restaurant with Ethan who was discussing business with a client who came from another city.

“Let’s increase the price by five percent, how about that?” asked the client who turned out to be a middle-aged woman.

Ethan frowned. “We will join this business to increase quality and quantity, don’t let it fail because the price is getting more expensive. Just increase it by one percent, because even if it sells hard, we will make a profit.”

“Well if you agree with that, I will also agree because your product is already more popular in the market.” Finally, the middle-aged woman agreed.

Keenan just kept thinking between himself and Jasmine, he didn’t even understand what his father had discussed with the client.

“Is he your son?” she asked.

“Yes,” said Ethan with a smile and then drank his coffee which was still a bit hot.

“Very much like you.” The middle-aged woman watched the dreamy Keenan.

Ethan glanced at Keenan who was not being nice because he should be greeting his client. “Keenan, why are you silent?”

“Uh, sorry, Dad.” Keenan immediately extended his hand to the middle-aged woman. “I’m Keenan.”

“Just call Mrs. Nia,” said the middle-aged woman as she shook hands with Keenan for a moment.

Keenan stopped thinking about Jasmine, because he found the woman’s face in front of him familiar, of course. After all, she was very similar to Jasmine.
