When the time showed at 05:30 am, Keenan was very neatly dressed in a gray suit combined with a cream-colored tie, combing his hair in a pompadé style and spraying more perfume than usual.

“Perfect, I’m ready to save you from any trouble,” muttered Keenan then immediately pocketed his wallet and smartphone, then took the car keys which were located on the table near the sofa. he immediately walked out of the room, staring at the atmosphere of the house that seemed very quiet, maybe the whole family was still sleeping.

arriving outside, Keenan immediately got into the car that was still in the garage, then drove it out the gate, then drove towards his apartment at high speed.

Jasmine had just woken up and glanced at the clock on the wall which said it was 05:40.

“Oh my gosh, I’m late. Keenan will come at six! Jasmine started to panic and immediately walked towards the bathroom.

After 15 minutes of bathing, Jasmine chose some clothes that Keenan had bought here. In the end, the girl chose a knee-length blue skirt and a white shirt which was in the same suit as the skirt, she didn’t wear make-up because she didn’t take it with her when she ran away from home.

There was a knock on the bedroom door. jasmine immediately opened the door and saw that what came was Keenan who was so neat, fragrant, and of course, he was handsome, which made her stunned for a moment.

Keenan saw Jasmine so fresh with natural beauty wearing the clothes he bought, which also made him amazed for a moment.

“Keenan, don’t you want to have breakfast first?” Jasmine asked as she snapped out of his daydream.

“No, because it’s eight o’clock I have to arrive at the office,” said Keenan, glancing at his watch which showed exactly six o’clock.

“Where are we going?” she asked.

“To your house,” said Keenan.

Jasmine sighed, showing a look that returned to sadness.

“I there to free you from Marco’s money trap on your mom, you can come back here after all is over before Marco comes to marry you,” Keenan explained before Jasmine.

“What are you going to do for me?” asked Jasmine in surprise.

“You’ll see, we better go now, to save time,” Keenan exclaimed then grabbed Jasmine’s hand and pulled her out of the apartment and didn’t forget to lock the door.

Keenan and Jasmine walked down the corridor until they reached the elevator. they immediately entered and it was Keenan who pushed the button to the ground floor.

Jasmine just stared at the hand that Keenan was holding so possessively, she wanted to let go but also felt comfortable. So, the girl let the handsome and charming man hold her hand.

until the elevator opened, Keenan invited Jasmine out without letting go of his hand. Gosh, Ethan’s habits have passed down so much to that man.

when they got to the car, Keenan invited Jasmine in and he drove the car to the address that Jasmine would show later.

During the trip, Jasmine looked nervous and unsettled. She imagined how her mother would be angry with her for running away.

“Jasmine, are you okay?” asked Keenan while glancing at Jasmine.

“Yeah,” Jasmine replied with a stiff smile.

“Don’t be afraid, I will always be by your side so that your mother doesn’t dare to scold you,” said Keenan as if he understood Jasmine’s feelings.

jasmine nodded then turned to glance at Keenan. “Thank you.”

Keenan just smiled nodding, then returned to focus on driving. He accelerated his vehicle to shorten the travel time, Jasmine closed her eyes for fear that the car was going too fast.

After drifting for 15 minutes, Keenan and Jasmine arrived at Marta’s residence. They immediately got out of the car and were immediately greeted by two thugs playing foreclosure on the terrace.

“Do you want to beat me? looks like I will fight and can break your bones one by one. But because I’m already tidy and have to get married after this, I can’t possibly fight you guys,” said Keenan then took his wallet from his pocket.

Keenan took several Rp.100,000 bills, then handed them over to the two thugs.

Jasmine sighed, again she made Keenan have to spend a lot of money for her. and what made the girl even more clueless was that Keenan said he would marry after this. Who will Keenan marry?

Keenan glanced at Jasmine to rush in with him, but when he arrived at the doorway, Marta came and immediately grabbed Jasmine to beat her up.

Instead of leaving, Keenan looked at Marta’s and Jasmine’s faces which had no resemblance at all. ‘I’m sure she’s not Jasmine’s real mother!’ he thought.

“You have to be prepared because Mr. Marco will soon come to marry you!” Marta exclaimed as she pulled Jasmine into the room.

Keenan suckled and let go of Marta’s hand on Jasmine. He held the girl’s hand and stared in wonder at the middle-aged woman who even dressed like a woman who forgot her age.

“How dare! Hand over Jasmine or …” Marta’s words were immediately interrupted by Keenan.

“Or are you going to call those two stupid thugs? I’m not afraid of them!” Keenan confirmed then took out the check paper in his suit pocket and also a pen.

“You sold Jasmine for 500 million right? I will buy her at a higher price and don’t bother her anymore, I will marry her and take her early morning away from here!” Keenan immediately wrote a sizeable amount in the check. That was one billion, then he handed the check to Marta.

“Keenan, what are you doing? one billion is not a small amount of money, why did you spend that much money just for me?” Jasmine looked at Keenan as if she couldn’t believe it.

Keenan ignored Jasmine, he turned his attention back to Marta who immediately smiled seeing the nominal in the check.

“Return Marco’s money, because I already bought Jasmine for twice the price. Now Jasmine is mine!” Keenan reiterated that before the mercenary woman forgot herself.

“Okay, just take this useless girl,” Marta exclaimed then walked out of the room, but she stopped in front of the door.

“You have to be diligent in giving me monthly rations after marrying Jasmine,” she exclaimed. the woman did not ask for a house, maybe she would buy a house from the one billion dollars.

“It’s not difficult for me,” replied Keenan curtly.

Marta immediately left the room and imagined that she would take a shower after withdrawing the money into the bank.

Keenan and Jasmine were still in the same room, they sat on the edge of the bed and were silent. The man saw the girl’s room which was so narrow but diligent and had many motivational writings attached, while the girl began to cry because she felt that her mother had gone too far.

“Why are you crying?” asked Keenan.

“I didn’t think mommy would sell me to you too,” Jasmine answered, sobbing.

“Wouldn’t it be better for me to buy you than that damn Marco?” Keenan asked, noticing Jasmine’s face which was already full of tears.

“Nothing better, because I don’t like being traded like this,” replied Jasmine.

Keenan sighed, then embraced Jasmine from the side. Gosh, he was embracing again, luckily Jasmine didn’t protest.

“Sorry, I didn’t mean to make you traded. I did all this to help you, to set you free,” Keenan explained then glanced at his watch which showed the time at 06:45 am.

“I should take you back to the apartment because I have to go to the office after dropping you off,” said Keenan.

Jasmine immediately let go of Keenan’s embrace, then he stood up. “Please give me some time to pack the things I need,” she begged.

“Okay, I’ll help you pack,” Keenan replied with a smile and nodded.

Jasmine immediately took the suitcase she had, she was helped by Keenan to pack some important things such as clothes, shoes, and books. Jasmine also brings her make-up kit in a sling bag that she often uses for college.
