During the trip to the apartment, Ethan continued to choke with a blank stare. the man felt pain in his heart, really sore, did not expect that Luna would betray him.

The man had already imagined his wife would wear the fancy necklace, which would make her look even more dazzling. without realizing it, Ethan was in tears again, tonight really feels bad for him, just like when Luna left him to Batam and asked for a divorce.

“Richard.”

“Yes sir.”

Ethan handed Richard the box containing the necklace. “Just give it to your wife,” he cried.

Richard frowned, focused on driving. “No, sir. That’s more fitting for your wife,” he refused.

“She doesn’t need this, Richard. If you don’t want it, I’ll just throw it away,” Ethan said blankly, his hand moving to press the button beside him until the car window opened.

“No, sir!”

Richard immediately prevented, because he felt a pity if the expensive necklace was thrown away. “Just give it to me, I’ll give it to my wife,” he said.

Ethan closed the windshield again by pressing the button again, then handed Richard the box containing the necklace.

Although reluctant, Richard was forced to accept the necklace, rather than throwing it away. ‘Tomorrow I will give it to Mrs. Luna,’ he thought.

Arriving at the apartment, Ethan immediately entered the room and took off his clothes, changing into more relaxed clothes, because he wanted to sleep.

when he looked at the bed, Ethan’s heart ached again when he saw the mattress he had sprinkled with fragrant red roses. His eyes glazed over at the sight, imagining he and Luna together, but it wouldn’t be real and would remain a shadow.

‘What should I do, Luna? What exactly do you want? Though, I’m trying to understand you,’

Ethan lay down on the bed filled with roses, he took Luna’s negligee which he kept under the pillow, then hugged it while sobbing.

‘This is how you feel when you see my portrait with Sarah, why does it hurt so much? I can’t stand it if you choose another man and leave me! I can’t, can’t! I must fight to survive for the sake of our happiness and the children!”

Ethan slowly fell asleep in sobs while hugging Luna’s negligee who once accompanied him to sleep.
