Sarah felt sorry to see Edward limp helplessly with a battered face and maybe his body which was still covered by the clothes was already bruised. She immediately got off the bed and approached the two bodyguards who were still cool to kick his husband. the woman forcibly pulled the man who beat her husband.

“ENOUGH, PLEASE STOP! DON’T HURT HIM AGAIN!” With her face still full of tears, Sarah squatted down holding Edward while looking up at the two furious bodyguards.

“Edward.” Sarah held her husband’s bruised cheeks and looked at him sadly.

“Go, let them beat me up. Isn’t this what you like?” With his voice low and limp, Edward still refused Sarah.

“No, Edward. I love you. I hate to see you beaten.” Sarah buried Edward’s face in her arms. She turned to look at the bodyguard again, then said. “You guys just go. And don’t hurt my husband without my permission!”

Edward, who was still weak, could only remain silent, while the two bodyguards immediately left the room and returned to waiting in front of the outer door.

“Let’s go to bed. I will treat your wound,” said Sarah as she released her arms, then immediately helped Edward up and led him to the bed.

Sarah sat Edward down on the edge of the bed. She wiped her face which was still wet with tears, then walked to the drawer to open and retrieve the first aid kit.

“I deserve a beating,” Edward whispered with a hard-to-understand look at Sarah. He felt sorry for being rude earlier but felt annoyed because her attitude was still putting other men first, even still always defending. occasionally the man winced in pain as he hit the blisters on his face.

“How many times do I have to tell you that this is your child because I’ve never had a relationship with anyone other than you,” Sarah said stoically. Sometimes she still shed tears because her heart was hurt by Edward’s attitude.

“Arghhh….” Sarah held her belly in pain.

“Why?” Edward asked.

“It hurts,” Sarah said as she winced holding her belly.

Edward let out a shaky breath, then stood up, about to lead Sarah out of the room.

“Let’s go to the hospital,” he said.

“You’re still weak, Edward. Maybe it’s just a normal cramp,” Sarah replied trying to hold back the pain.

“I’m still strong enough to take you. Or do you want to be escorted by your two ugly bodyguards?” Edward even threatened.

Hans and Mike were seen entering the room towards Edward and Sarah. they both looked like they had just come back from somewhere.

Hans immediately punched Edward’s face, which was still bruised, while Mike went straight to Sarah who was curled up in pain.

“How dare you hurt my daughter, YOU BASTARD!”

“Don’t mind him, Sarah. Let Mike take you to the hospital and I’ll beat him up!” Hans glanced at Mike to take Sarah to the hospital.

because of getting sick, Sarah could not refuse to be taken to the hospital. But she was afraid that Edward would be beaten by his father. “I’m going to the hospital, but you can’t beat Edward up.”

“But he’s gone too far, Sarah!” snapped Hans.

“But he’s my husband,” Sarah replied, sobbing as the pain deepened. Slowly she began to limp and fall.

Mike immediately carried Sarah, while Edward curled up feeling his body aching from various sides.

“Just watch out if something fatal happens to Sarah. I’ll kill you!” Hans threatened while pointing at Edward who looked disgusting to him. He immediately followed Mike who was carrying Sarah out of the house.

‘Why did Sarah choose Edward? Mike is much better. He deserves to be my son-in-law. I’m really sad to see the fate of my daughter,’ Hans thought as he noticed Mike’s concern for Sarah. He seemed to admire her and laud the manners and kindness of her daughter despite being someone’s husband. The middle-aged man didn’t understand that the one he admired was also as jerk as Edward, for having abused his daughter but didn’t dare admit it.
