When it was ten o’clock in the morning, Luna was shopping for toys and school supplies for the orphanage children with Nathalie at the biggest mall in Jakarta. they were shopping accompanied by two bodyguards who followed them from behind while pushing a shopping trolley that was almost full of toys and school supplies.

“I’m tired, Nathalie. We better take a break,” said Luna as she walked to the restaurant in the mall.

“Yes, Ma’am.” Nathalie agreed because she also felt sorry to see her boss’s wife walking earlier. Even looking at her big belly she shuddered at the thought of how heavy it was to have two babies.

“Juna, Johan. You guys just put the groceries in the car. After that come back here to eat.” Luna commanded the two bodyguards who had been following her faithfully.

“Yes, Ma’am.”

The two of them immediately left the mall while pushing the two full trolleys. Meanwhile, Luna and Nathalie immediately ordered fresh food and drinks.

Because the office is no longer busy, Edward decides to go to the mall to buy milk and fruit or fresh food for Viona. Somehow he thought about his wife’s condition. The news of the pregnancy that he didn’t like turned into something that made him reflexively pay attention to his wife.

Edward buys three types of milk with different flavors. Because he didn’t know what Viona’s favorite taste was. After that, he bought some fruit and stopped by the restaurant to buy some fresh food for his wife later.

“Can I join in the chat here?” asked Edward from behind Luna.

Luna turned her head and looked lazily at her former lover. “Why are you here,” She asked curtly.

“I just happened to be here and saw you were here. Isn’t it okay if I see my sister-in-law? We haven’t seen each other in a while.” Edward sat next to Nathalie, opposite Luna, who did not look at him at all.

Luna glanced at the groceries that Edward brought quite a lot. The man does not usually want to spend a lot.

“What do you buy?” She asked

“Uh, buy milk and fruit for Viona,” Edward replied and then thought for a moment as he looked at Luna, who was still acting indifferently. “I also want to buy him fresh food. Do you have any recommendations?” He asked.

Nathalie and the two bodyguards just didn’t move to focus on eating. Sometimes, they glanced at Luna, who seemed to dislike Edward.

“I don’t know,” replied Luna, then asked back, “what’s wrong with Viona?”

“She is currently pregnant,” replied Edward with a small smile. he smiled not at the news of his wife’s pregnancy, but because he could get a close look at Luna.

“Wow, congratulations. Finally, your wife follows in my steps,” said Luna with a happy smile. She thought that Edward was clearly in love with Viona and would let her go with Ethan.

“Yeah, I’m glad that not only Ethan is going to be the father,” Edward replied with a smile as well. It seems that by showing an accepting attitude towards Viona, Luna will be friendly back to him.

“Hopefully your wife is always healthy. I send greetings to her,” said Luna.

“Yeah, you too,” replied Edward, then his gaze fixed on Luna’s stomach which was getting bigger from the last time he met her. “Your stomach just got bigger.”

“Eh, yes. This is natural because there are two babies in it,” said Luna with a shy smile.

“Good luck with a healthy and safe birth,” Edward replied and then got up from the chair. “I have to go now.

Luna just responded to Edward with a nod. Meanwhile, Edward immediately exited the restaurant and walked toward the ice cream shop. He bought some of Luna’s favorite chocolate-flavored ice cream.

“Maybe Viona will like chocolate like Luna,” Edward thought as he kept thinking about Luna. Only meeting her once and seeing the smile on her face, he couldn’t forget the encounter. It was clear that he felt that his longing was relieved even if it was only for a moment and had to pretend to accept Viona in front of him.

After finishing their meal, Luna and Nathalie and their two bodyguards immediately walked out of the mall. She and Nathalie and Johan returned to the office, while Juna brought the groceries home in another car.

Arriving at the office, Luna immediately entered Ethan’s room. She walked at a slow pace because she felt tired and sore in her waist. Sometimes she held his waist while grimacing because he could not stand the pain. The pregnant woman immediately lay down on the sofa.

“Why?” Ethan asked as he approached Luna, who was hastily lying down.

“I’m so tired,” said Luna, wiping her sweaty temples. The air-conditioned room seemed unable to cool her body, which was already hot. sometimes she stroked his stomach which felt tight. Maybe the twins were struggling inside because their mother forced their way to the mall.

Ethan sighed and then took out an empty folder on his desk. He immediately fanned Luna while massaging her waist too. “I told you, you don’t have to go shopping and you’re annoying.”

“I just want to pick out cool toys for them later so as not to disappoint,” said Luna as she glanced at Ethan who was fanning her. The man looked annoyed but tried to remain calm and attentive.

Ethan nodded understandingly rather than ending an argument. “Now you’ve finished shopping all for the contents of the parcel?” he asked.

“Yes,” replied Luna. “Later, just ask some employees to go home early to help wrap it up in our house,” she continued.

Ethan nodded in agreement because making lots of gifts required a lot of energy. He got off the sofa and returned to his desk.

“Hello, Nathalie Come to my room now,” Ethan exclaimed, was calling Nathalie with the special office phone. Meanwhile, Luna was still lying on the sofa watching him.

It took only five minutes, Nathalie entered Ethan’s office. She immediately greeted her boss.

“What did you call me, Sir?” She asked.

“Tell all the female employees to come over to my house at two o’clock in the afternoon,” Ethan exclaimed as he wrote down the nominal on the check sheet.

“Yea, Sir.” Nathalie nodded obediently, then glanced at Luna, who was lying down. She smiled glancing at the tired pregnant woman.

“Here is a check, you take the money at the bank. Then fill in each envelope worth one million rupiahs.” Ethan handed Nathalie a check that said a nominal value of 250 million rupiahs. The rich man gave a generous amount for tomorrow’s charity work.

“Edward said, his wife is currently pregnant,” replied Luna with a smile on her lips. because it is good news. “I am very happy to hear this news.”

“Why are you happy?” Ethan asked as he looked at Luna’s face, which looked happy. He did not want his wife to look cheerful because had met her former lover. It will make his heartburn with jealousy.

Luna sighed, then looked into Ethan’s eyes. “That means, Edward has moved on from me. He has accepted Viona as a wife. I don’t need to worry that he will chase me again.” Luna explained that her husband would not misunderstand. because talking about an ex with a partner is susceptible to disappointment or feelings of confusion.

“Oh, I see. I will also be happy because my wife will not be bothered again. We will be happy without interruption from the past.” Ethan smiled in relief and hugged Luna from the side, then kissed her chubby cheek.
