UNDER THE MASK - EPISODE 6

Mercury and Depp held unto each other In the pool without knowing, Mercury was thinking it’s a girl while Depp was thinking she’s a guy like her

They held each other up and faced each other, their eyes widened in shock

“Aarrggghhh!!!!!” They both screamed, pushing each other away

“I can’t believe your hands touched me! I should have a clean bath, gosh!” She screamed, dabbing her hair with her palm

Kaitlyn stood in a place, watching the pandemonium she created..

“How do I stop this?, How do I stop it?” She wondered loudly

She decided to close her eyes maybe she’ll remember how to do it

She closed her eyes for almost five minutes and her inner concentration started coming back bit by bit till she remembered

She leapt to the sky and faced the sunlight, the sun shone in her eyes and her eyes burned fire

She came down and her eyes sent fire to the angry bees, they all got burnt without remnants and her eyes went back to normal

She breathed heavily as the students came out slowly from their hiding places

Depp stayed in the pool , staring at the masked girl

Mercury stayed beside it, staring at her too

“The new student” a junior said

Kaitlyn nodded positively

“But why are you masked?, Are you ashamed of showing your ugly face? ” Mercury mocked

” She surely has a reason for that so keep your mockery” Damon said , coming out of the boys chamber with his violin, Athena is beside him

“And thanks for making us run for bees, you made us look weak” Eden said

” I’m so sorry, I really don’t know how to reverse and use most of my Powers yet” she bowed

” If I’m not a good runner, I’d have been bitten badly now” Min said, coming out of his hiding place

” So you’re not that great, running for ordinary bees” Mercury mocked

” What about you?, You ran till you bumped into Depp and you both fell into the pool, your wet hair and dress is enough confirmation” Venus said

Mercury looked at herself and smirked before leaving the place angrily

Depp came out of the water and sat on a brick, watching everything

“But you’re great, I mean…. Everyone tried taking the bees away but they can’t, not until you took them away yourself” Eden said

” A grand entry” Min said and they all laughed excluding Depp who kept giving hateful looks

“Nice to meet you anyways” Min said

“Nice to meet you” everyone chorused

” But Min, you were in the library earlier, how did you get to the woods that quick?” Venus asked

” You see…. my ears are very sharp, if someone is in danger, either the person screams inwardly or loud, I’ll hear and have no choice but to go there and help” Min replied

” Whoa!, Amazing, I wish to have that ability too” Eden said

” What’s your name?” Damon asked Kaitlyn

” Kaitlyn” she replied

” Lynn for short” Min said

“I don’t mind” Kaitlyn replied

“Let’s be friends” Athena said

” Let’s be friends too” Venus offered

“We’re already friends, I helped you so we are” Min said simply

” Ion mind being friends with you too” Damon said

” Me too” Eden added

” I won’t mind being your friend too” Rainbow said, coming out

” Strange” Venus thought as Rainbow came closer

” Thanks everyone” Kaitlyn smiled and even under her mask, her smile radiated and sparkled like the sunlight

Rainbow’s eyes met with Eden and she smiled but he looked away

Depp stood from the brick he’s sitting on and left

Kaitlyn watched the friendly people around her and smiled brightly under the mask

“It’s a good thing I used the mask, they would have found my face strange too, but with this mask, they all like me even without seeing my face” she thought

Now she sees a different world and a happy future for herself

The academy bell rang loudly

“Time for the handing over of your swords” Damon said

They all moved to the meeting ground and while others stood and watched, Kaitlyn and Min knelt in front of the Dean

Asher stood and a teacher brought the two swords forward

He took one of it and stood in front of Min

“Changmin Lee, I’m handing over this sword to you not to hurt intentionally, but to compete with your mates, to save yourself from danger and most importantly, to slash demons, you’ll take the responsibility of any bad deed done with this sword, I hope you use it well” he said and Min took it from him

” Yes master, I’ll try my best” he said

Asher took the second sword and went to Kaitlyn

“Kaitlyn Reed, masked supernatural, I’m handing over this sword to you not to hurt intentionally, but to compete with your mates, to save yourself from danger and most importantly, to slash demons, you’ll take the responsibility of any bad deed done with this sword, I hope you use it well” he said and handed it to her

” Yes master, I’ll try my best” she replied

“Since it was reported that you don’t know how to control your powers yet…” Asher said and sniffed as if inhaling something

He looked at Kaitlyn for a while before proceeding. “I’ll separate you and choose a teacher for you among the most powerful students, you need to learn how to control your powers before joining the others in the mass power training” Asher said

” Yes master” she replied

” Damon Ceaser, be her teacher, make sure she knows everything she needs to know, you should fix classes for her and teach her effectively” Asher said

” Yes master” Damon bowed

” Power training starts tonight, I’ll be the coordinator myself” Asher said and left

“your training starts tomorrow morning, I’ll have to be training you every morning since that’s the only available time” Damon said, facing Kaitlyn

” Yes master…

“Huh?, Master?, I’m a student like you you know” Damon said

” I know but you’re my trainer, so i have no choice” she replied

Damon smiled

” Breakfast is ready!” Athena announced

” Breakfast at 11am, how lazy” Mercury remarked

” You’re always not happy with everyone, your bitterness is getting to the core” Venus replied beside her

” I already warned you to stop talking to me!” Mercury stated

” Just saying my mind and it’s the truth, but it’s a pity that the truth hurts” Venus replied and left with the others

Kaitlyn just took her own food and went for her room to eat

She took off her mask and settled on her bed to eat after locking the door behind

“Everyone is lively” she thought with a smile on her face

She tasted a spoon and her eyes widened in surprise

“Athena is too good!’ she said and started eating quickly

Then she suddenly started hearing violin sounds from the dinning hall

She left her remaining food and drew closer to her window to listen

Everyone ate at the dinning while listening to Damon’s tunes, he’s busy playing the violin and he’s just too good

“I wish I can play like him” Athena said loudly, looking at him admiringly

” His tune is boring” Mercury said

“Like you” Eden replied and they all laughed

Mercury grabbed Eden’s neck tightly, Eden tried to break free but maybe he’s really not halfway strong like her

“I’ll kill you right now” Mercury spat

Min sent currents to Mercury’s hand with his eyes in his sitting position and Mercury left Eden’s neck instantly

She started shaking as if shocked by electricity and everyone laughed loudly, it’s funny to see almighty Mercury shaking vehemently like this

Min stopped looking at her and she stopped shaking, she fell on the floor , breathing heavily

Eden went closer to her and bent in front of her

“I have a lot of protectors, don’t mess with me” he said and winked before sitting back

Mercury looked at everyone and huffed angrily before leaving

“I look weak!, I’m the most powerful here before Min arrived but now no one fears me anymore, I’ve become a laughing stock!” She breathed heavily as she stormed down the hallway angrily

She entered her room and slammed the door angrily, it made a loud sound.

Depp stood by the tree impatiently, waiting for Cyclops to come out

He has been waiting for the past two hours and Cyclops has refused to come out to him

“Cyclops!!’ he screamed again and he finally came out

” What again?”

“Look I forgive you for making me wait unnecessarily, but please, I need more powers, a new Supernatural is in the academy, actually two, I need something to defeat them with and I know you’re capable” he said

” Look I forgive you for calling me out to waste my time but I’m never gonna work with you anymore, I regret being friends with a being like you, you’re selfish and thankfully I realized that early, don’t ever come to me again, bye!” He said all at once and vanished

Depp hit the tree repeatedly

” Cyclops!, Cyclops!” He screamed in anger

He walked away from there and soon came across the gigantic toad, Cruella

“I can help you” she said, rolling her bulging eyes

” How?”

” You want powers to defeat Min Lee and the special one right?” Cruella asked

” The special one?, You mean Kaitlyn?”

” I can give you powers to defeat them, but on one condition” she said

” Tell me”

” Bring the academy orb” she said

” That’s the scariest task you should never talk about, the last time a junior student tried it and got caught, Dean Asher threw him into the lion’s den in the underground cage, I’m not ready to die in the mouth of a lion” he replied and left

” If you change your mind later!, I’m always here!” Cruella shouted after him before vanishing

She appeared in the demons coven and three demons are already waiting

Serpentine, Botis and Al Ana who’s also a female demon

“Where’s Cyclops?” She asked

“Not in attendance” Al Ana replied in her tiny voice

” he’s trespassing, he’ll be subdued once King Dantalion arrives” Botis replied huskily

Dantalion is the demon king who went to gain more powers and he’s currently not around

“Did you succeed in luring Depp?” Serpentine asked

“No, but I’m sure he’ll still come around, he’s greedy and I’m using the greed against him” Cruella replied

” Now that the special one we’ve been looking for has arrived, King Dantalion Won’t take long before coming back” Serpentine said and roared, shaking the whole coven

Night**

No moonlight tonight but Dean Asher has the ability to make night look like afternoon

It’s time for the power training

Kaitlyn stood in one side with Athena since she can’t join yet

“Where’s Min Lee?” Damon asked, looking around some minutes before the training will start

” He’ll be reading in the library as usual, I’ll go get him” Venus said and ran off

She got to the library and stealthily opened the door

Min has read for long and when he became tired, he rested his head on the table and had slept off unknowingly

Venus smiled and sat beside him, she studied his facial expression while sleeping

Typical of a powerful person, he even looks powerful in his sleep

She had the urge to touch his face but later decided against it

She admired his long lashes and full brows with the unique shape of lips

Lust took over her in her vulnerable state and she started leaning in for a kiss

She’s almost into his lips when Yeontan jumped up from under the table and without warning, he bit her hard on the arm

“Oh my gosh! My arm!!!!” She screamed.
