UNDER THE MASK - EPISODE 41

Moon folded her fist and stood more rigidly where she’s standing, watching the guy she loves so much, kissing another girl

She looked at the elimination needles with her and sighed

“I look desperate, but you guys caused it, don’t blame me” she thought and left angrily

Damon broke the kiss with Athena and they both caught their breaths, their fresh breaths brushing their faces as they stared at each other

“Damon you…you kissed me…we…we kissed” Athena stammered unbelievably

” You’re a fool like me aren’t you?” Damon smiled, still letting his thumb rub on her tender earlobe

“Huh?” She said

“It only means one thing” he said

” Pity?” She replied

” Not pity” he replied

” Then?”

” Love, I love you Athena, I’ve always took the love I have for you for friendship and that’s what has been implicating me , I love you so much and can die for you I swear, that’s why I always think of saving you even at the cost of my life” he said

” Then…. Moon” Athena said confusedly

” I like her as a friend, though I once fell in love with her gun technique, I loved the gun technique she has so much and thought it was her I loved, I must have confused her a lot and I’m sorry for that, Athena I love you so much, I love you a lot” he said

Athena kept her long gaze fixed on him as he spoke

In the pit of her stomach right now, she feels loads of happiness as she watched the tender lips that just kissed her, telling her how much he loves her, she feels like the luckiest in the world to have this type of day in her life

“I’m sorry for not recognizing how I feel before now, I’m sorry for keeping you waiting Athena, I’m sorry for…”

The feel of Athena’s lips on his own again shut him up, preventing him from going on

He poured the affection on her lips during the long kiss and Athena tugged gently at his shirt as the kiss continued more affectionately.

Moon barged into her room violently immediately she got back to the academy

She feels different, jealousy, hatred, bitterness is running through her veins as she threw away the needles with her

“I hate everything!, Everyone!, I hate myself for loving someone who loves another!, He’s the first guy I’ll ever speak to!, He’s my first!, How can Damon break my heart like this I love him!” She ranted

” I see the journey is not fruitful” Mika said, entering her room

” Out of my room!” Moon ranted

” You have no right to say that since you barged into Rainbow’s room the other time too” Mika replied, coming to her

Moon looked at her angrily

“Then what are you here for?”

“Join the team of destroyers, then we can help you take away every obstacle” Mika said sweetly

Moon Inhaled deeply and cleared her throat

“What do you mean?” She asked.

“You mean dean Lett’s touch felt like Depp’s touch?, And you even mistaken him for Depp?” Venus asked as Mercury told her the story

” I swear it, it was surprising, it felt same, no difference” Mercury replied, deep in thoughts

” what do we do?, What if you keep seeing him as Depp?, What if it grows to the stage where you won’t be able to control yourself?” Venus said

” Ion know, I really don’t know what to do” Mercury said confusedly

Venus placed a confirming arm around her and faced her

“It’ll be fine, trust me” she said

Mercury nodded and hugged her. ” Thanks for always being there” she said

The academy bell sounded and the students walked out of their various rooms to the practice ground

“What do you think they want to talk about? ‘ Mika asked Moon

*Obviously our missing queen” Moon replied

” Queen my foot” Mika said and Rainbow giggled

” We got really unfair love fates right?, I love Eden but he seems to be in love with Elaina, Moon loves Damon but no chance too, he’s stuck with Athena, Mika loves Min but he’s stuck with that filthy queen” Rainbow said

” I know right?” Moon replied as Damon stepped into the ground, he’s the last person to come

His eyes met with Moon and when he smiled, Moon looked away

Rainbow closed her eyes as pains rushed through her arm again

“I’m really dying, the pains is too much” she thought inwardly, trying not to scream in pains

” Princess Amoura is awake, I’m sure you all saw the sign” Dean Asher said

” Yes master!” They chorused

” Meaning Dantalion will soon be back ,war is drawing near but we still can’t find our queen, out king is not in his right state of mind, we’re at a vulnerable position right now but we shouldn’t make that obvious” Asher addressed

” We planned to visit the demons coven before, but that won’t be a good idea, our power isn’t in the right state cos of our missing queen, I mean queen Kaitlyn” Asher said

Most of them know about it already from the way Min talked when she was kidnapped so not everyone is surprised

“We need strong defenses so practice starts tonight” Lett said

” Aren’t we gonna look for her majesty?” A junior asked

” Her majesty will come by herself according to what I saw last night, she’s ok wherever she is” Elaina replied , looking at Ursula who’s standing at the balcony of the students lodge

The gathering was dispersed and as Elaina walked through the hallway back to her chamber, Ursula blocked her way

“What happens after her blood has been used to wake up Amoura?” She asked

” I can’t believe a sorceress is asking me that” Elaina replied

“You know why I’m like this, she’s my daughter, I can’t see anything from her future, when I haven’t found out that she’s my daughter, I know she has a cruel future with her king but it wasn’t revealed to me how exactly that cruelty will be poured on their fates” Ursula said

” Then wait till the future sorceress” Elaina said

“Why are you being stubborn, just tell me already” Ursula said

” No sorceress, bye” Elaina smiled and left

” She’s.. too defiant” Ursula said to herself as she walked back to her room and surprisingly, Asher is waiting

“Asher” she smiled, entering fast

“Where were you?” He asked

” I was talking with Elaina” she replied

“About Kaitlyn?, She already said she has seen the future that Kaitlyn will come back herself and that she’s fine, no need to worry” Asher said

Ursula smiled and took few strides to him before hugging him tightly..

“It feels good to see you comforting me like this, when Kaitlyn Finally comes back and knows we’re her parents, I wish we can just go somewhere far away and live as an happy family after the war” Ursula said

” I wish too, and I’m glad you really changed” Asher replied

Ursula broke the hug and looked up at him with her golden eyes. “Thinking about you made me change” she said and Asher smiled before hugging her to his chest

“The sound is still the same” Ursula said, listening no his heartbeat

“It never changed, it just ceased” he replied and they both smiled, clinging unto each other

Moon finished dressing Rainbow’s wound that evening and nodded

“You’ll soon die at this rate, you should go to Athena in the cave and make her heal you” Moon said

” And after making her do that, you’ll eliminate her” Mika said

” Maybe” Moon said

” Come on don’t be indecisive, you want Damon badly and you have to harden your heart, get what you want dear, you can only get him by killing her” Rainbow said

Moon sighed. ” Let’s just wait and see”

Walking out of the room , she saw Damon coming that way from the other side and decided to walk away before he’ll see her but he has already seen her

“Moon!” He called and ran to her, he obstructed her way

“When did you start going into Rainbow’s room” he asked

” You don’t own me, why trying to restrict my movements” she scowled

“You’ve changed” Damon said

” How?”

” The Moon I know is not like this” he replied

” And that’s because you won’t do the needful!” She yelled

” Meaning?” Damon asked

” You refused to love me even when you know I’m madly in love with you!, Damon what do you want?, I’ll give you my body and everything else, if you love me I won’t be like this” she said, trying to hold him but he stepped back

” No, you’re not like this cos I don’t love you, you’re like this cos you want to be like this, I hope the path you choose won’t lead to destruction” he said and walked away

Moon wiped her tears and hardened her expression

“Athena” she muttered.

Kaitlyn Cried for the uptenth time today as she got thrown around the place by the demons, maybe they’re trying to make her get many wounds that’ll rot before they eat her

She hit her face on the ground as she was thrown again

She cried out in pains and can’t seem to be able to stop it

“Why isn’t anyone coming?, Where’s Min?, Why isn’t he coming to save me?, I miss everyone, why am I abandoned here?, Why is my fate like this” she soliloquize as she was taken again

Her right cheek is already scalded as a result of the burn. “I’ll look ugly already, my face is scalded, someone help!” She screamed as she was placed on a chair

She’s crying allthrough and even found it hard to open her eyes cos of the ugly demons around

“Now answer these questions, why exactly are you thrown here?” A demon asked

” I…I….I dunno” she replied

“That’s a punishment waiting for you” another one said

“Second question, do you know where you are?”

” I really don’t know” she replied

” You missed the second question”

“Third question, what’s the name of the first queen of demons that was crowned thousands of years ago?”

” I..I don’t know” she replied and she was grabbed from the chair again and thrown down, rolled into a mat and they started hitting her with sticks

“Not again… someone save me!!!, Aarrgh!!!” She cried.

Min sat on the practice ground bench, actually on one of the benches and thought about what can be done..

Without her he feels weak, without her he feels vulnerable and the power to fight isn’t even available

He wasn’t able to stop the demons from using her queen’s blood and that’s the greatest weakness he felt

“I can’t even smell her anywhere, I don’t know where she is, it’s sad and frustrating” he thought sadly

” A supernatural king without her queen is weak, so it’s true,I feel so weak without her” he thought vulnerably

A strong wind whiffed past his nose and immediately he inhaled it, he slept off

Serpentine descended and smiled, alerting Elaina in her room who immediately appeared there but before she had the chance to take action, Serpentine vanished with Min…
