“Tie her up” one of the demons who looks like their leader said and Athena’s lifeless body was taken to a stake

She was tied there and they sat round her to ensure she won’t escape

In her unconscious state, Athena saw Damon’s face and remembered the plays and everything they’ve been through and done together

She remembered his face over and over again and she saw him on his sick bed, going through a lot of pains

Her unconscious state even remembered him and that brought her back to life, she swiftly grabbed the fan from her hoodie pocket and swung it fast

The air it produced made the demons fly away from her to different parts of the forest but is left with how to untie herself

“I’ve been through a lot, I don’t deserve this again, I don’t even know how to untie this rope someone help” she said as she tried for untie it

A hand suddenly took the rope and started loosening it, she looked up at him and saw a one eyed demon

“Cyclops” she said as he finally loosened the rope and she quickly stood, checking out herself and the great shock she received is that she sustained no injury

“How is that possible?, How?” She wondered loudly

“No one can wound you here unless you wound yourself mistakenly” Cyclops said

” I’m the only one who can would myself mistakenly?, No one can wound me? ” She asked

” Yes”

” I bled when they were beating me, I really bled a lot from the nose, mouth and ears” she said, still checking out herself to be sure

” It’s bound to happen cos you were passing through torture that’s causing pains, that’s the only thing they can make you do, they can make you bleed but they can’t wound you, they can inflict pains and torture you but you’ll never get wounded, they’ll just eat you while you after torturing you till you become unconscious” Cyclops replied

” Then I have to be careful, I can’t get wounded mistakenly, by the way were you here when they were torturing me? ” She asked

” Yes, I watched everything, but I decided to come at the right time* he replied.

“You’re kind” Athena said

“You should hurry and go, you have limited time and the fire bird is a tricky bird, I saw it this morning just this way, be careful just go that way and don’t get wounded” Cyclops said

” Do I have to kill it before getting the blood? ” She asked

” No, the pendant attached to it’s feather always has its blood, you just have to get the silver pendant” Cyclops replied.

” Thanks Cyclops” she replied

*Wave your fan and every spirit will be out of your way, it’s called the Sun fan, everyone of them is afraid of it cos it’s dangerous for their existence in this forest” Cyclops said

” Oh, I’ll keep waving it then , thanks Cyclops” she replied and went down the lane Cyclops pointed at.

It’s late in the morning and the academy is silent, Damon’s health is getting worse and the atmosphere is getting tensed

Mika entered Rainbow’s room with a wounded arm as a result what Min did to her yesterday

Rainbow is sitting on her bed, her body is all red, it has been like that since she was released from the heat yesterday

“What happened to your arm?” Rainbow asked

“It’s Min, it’s really unbearable,I mean the pain” Mika replied

” What did you try to do?” Rainbow asked

“I tried to wound Kaitlyn with my poisoned sword” she replied

“Are these demons kidding me?, Why is their powers so low in effectiveness” Rainbow said

” I dunno too, don’t you think we got tricked?’ Mika asked

” I don’t think so, every attempt to take Kaitlyn’s blood is proving futile, I mean she has a lot of protectors, talk of Min, Moon, Venus, Ursula and the witchy Elaina” Rainbow said

” Don’t you think we have to go see Al Ana?” Mika asked

“let’s do that” Rainbow replied

” My arm, I think it’ll take days before healing” Mika said

“Meet with the unfortunate Kaitlyn, she’s kindhearted, you just have to say sweet words and she’ll heal you” Rainbow replied

Mercury slowly opened her eyes and the world around her looks blurry at first but it later became clear

“I’m in my room” she said, sitting up

“Depp” she said, looking around

She stood from her bed and looked around once again

“Depp” she called, running out of the room to the guys chamber

She entered Depp’s room and it’s empty

“Depp are you hiding from me? Please come out I miss you, Depp please, your pretty lover is here, Depp!’ she screamed, alerting others and they ran into the room

“Mercury you’re awake” Venus said, holding her

” Venus please where’s he?, He’s not gone right?, He’s still alive sure?, Venus say yes, say he’s still alive please” she said in tears

” I was expecting this anyways, emotional breakdown” Eden said

Venus and Kaitlyn jointly carried Mercury back to her room and Elaina succeeded in calming her down

“Who are you?” Mercury asked slowly

“Elaina Kal, a new student” she smiled

“Oh, I see” she replied, facing Venus again

” What do I do?, I can’t cope without Depp, he has become part of me” she said.

” You just have to endure the pains ok?, It’ll be fine” Venus replied

” Yes you’ll be fine, and you need to know that the academy is currently in a state of fear” Kaitlyn said..

” Why?” Mercury asked

” Damon got poisoned by the frosted poison” Eden said

” What!, The poison cauldron from mazu?, Did he come here?” Mercury asked

” Yes” Venus replied

” Then?” Mercury asked impatiently

” Athena went Into the frost forest to get the fire bird blood”

” What!, That haunted forest?” Mercury stood

” His health is getting worse, we have only five hours left” Eden said

” Five hours?” Mercury said shockingly.

Moon still kept roaming round her room in utter sadness, hoping fervently for the Athena’s safe return when a knock sounded on her door

She opened the door and met Min

“Min” she said

He came in and smiled. “Don’t tell me you’ve been crying” he said

“I cried a little, but I’m fine now” she replied

” Cried a little?, Your eyes doesn’t look like someone who cried a little, you don’t have to worry, she’ll be back ok?” He said.

” I’ve been selfish all this while” she replied

“Don’t say that again, you aren’t, you love him too but your love is just not enough, there’s a greater love which is Athena’s” Min said

” It saddens my heart that I can’t do anything for him, and now the only thing I can do is hope that she returns safely” she said

” She’ll return safely, trust me” Min replied and smiled

“Thanks” Moon replied

Three hours left**

” Kaitlyn!, Kaitlyn” Mika called after her as she walked down the corridor

“Yes?” She replied, stopping to look back

“How’re you doing?’ she asked, trying to touch her but Kaitlyn stepped back

“What?” She asked

“I’m tryna be friendly” Mika replied

” Why?” Kaitlyn asked

” Just thought of doing that” she smiled

*I know you’re not for real and even if it’s for real then I’m not interested” Kaitlyn replied

” Then you can heal my arm for me right?, It hurts” Mika replied and Kaitlyn smiled

” You deserve it and for the fact that my king planted that pain there, I’m never gonna make it go so leave!” Kaitlyn said authoritatively and surprisingly, Mika shivered at her harsh voice

“Don’t ever show your face in front of me anymore, rotten thing” Kaitlyn said and left her

” I felt the authority in her voice, gosh!” Mika said.

Lodge Of Fame**

“You think she’ll come back?” Lett asked Asher who’s standing by the balcony, placing his hand on the rail

“I don’t know, she’s not a student so her fate is not known, Ursula says her fate looks cloudy and she somehow can’t get through it, maybe Elaina knows” Asher replied

” I hope she comes back, but will Damon love her then?” Lett asked

“I don’t know, I’m not sure, we just have to wait for one more hour to know if she’ll come back or not” Asher replied

Frost forest**

Athena’s arms is already in great pains as a result of how she has been waving her fan since some hours ago and now only thirty minutes is left, no sign of the bird

A blizzard started and the cold forest became extraordinarily cold, snowflakes started falling in handfuls and heavy winds started blowing, almost making her fall

“No, I can do this” she said slowly and suddenly heard the loud sound of a bird, she looked up and saw the fire bird itself , sitting magnificently on a tree branch

“Oh!, The fire bird at last” she said happily but immediately she made to climb the tree, it flew away and Athena had to start running after it, falling countless times

The bird ran and perched for a while and she kept running after it for almost twenty minutes

“Ten minutes left, Please I have to get this, please I have to get it, please” she thought again and for the next five minutes again, the bird made her run till something fell on her head

She stopped and touched her head, shockingly it’s the pendant she came for

She almost can’t believe it till the bird hit it’s feather on her arm before flying away

“Thanks fire bird, thanks oh my Gosh!, I got this at last” Athena said happily, jumping up gladly till she stumped her shoe on something and fell, hitting her arm on a tree bark

“Ouch!” She whimpered and without bothering to check the arm, check checked the time and it’s just two minutes remaining

She closed her eyes and appeared in the flamy green water, breathing heavily till she swam out

Everyone is already waiting and Elaina grabbed the pendant from her and rushed in

Athena breathed heavily, feeling pains from her arm as Moon hugged her first

“I’m glad you came back, I’m so glad” Moon cried

” You did well, you didn’t get hurt right?” Ursula asked

” I didn’t” she replied

” Good” Ursula replied

Healing room**

Immediately Elaina dropped the blood on Damon’s forehead, he opened his eyes and the cold in the room was replaced by heat and his body temperature returned to normal

He sat up by himself and looked around questioningly

“I’m not….dead?” He said

“No, Athena saved your life, she got you the fire bird blood from the frost forest” Eden replied

” Athena” he whispered, crying happily

” Damon” Athena called from the door

He looked up in tears and when he saw her, his tears fell again

“Athena” he called, standing up

“You’re awake, it worked” Athena said

Damon used magnetic force to pull her to himself and hugged her tightly

“Why did you….why did you risk your life for me” he cried

“Cos I love you more than myself, I love you so much Damon” she replied, hugging him back

” Athena” Damon said, closing his eyes on her shoulder….
