Kaitlyn backed the wall, still not believing her eyes

“I can read well, I didn’t read wrong” she said after slapping herself severally but realized it’s reality and not dream

“I’m….the queen?, Then Changmin knows….is that why he calls me queen?, Of course, why else would he have my tear cowry on his neck, but why didn’t he tell me” she said and the book shined again

She took it and the chapter she opened to contained the answer to her question

“The supernatural queen can’t be told of her fate unless she finds out herself” she read

” Really?, I’m really the queen of supernatural beings?, Me?” She said, not knowing weather she should be smiling or sad

” Queen” Min’s voice said behind and she looked back slowly, he’s already up

She walked slowly to him and stayed in front of him with the book in her hand

“What book is that?, And why do you look disturbed?” He asked

“Changmin I’m the queen” she said

” Huh?” Min said slowly

” I found out just now, I found out” she said impatiently

“It’s all ok now” Min smiled

” All ok?, I know the supernatural queen is at the risk of getting used by the demons as a tool to wake their Princess” she replied fearfully

” Is that your only concern right now?” Min said patiently

“What do you mean?” Kaitlyn asked in a whisper

” You’re meant to save the supernatural beings when the war starts, the life of everyone is in your hands, you have to save everyone Kaitlyn, you can do it, it’s unlike you to fear” he said

” Min” Kaitlyn said fearfully and he pulled her into a tight hug

“I’m your king, with me here you shouldn’t fear, I promise to stay beside you till the end heart throb” he said, rubbing her back

” I can do it right?, I shouldn’t be scared” she said

“Exactly, you can do it queen, you can, after the last three kisses on your mark, your powers will be released and I believe the war will start then” he said

” Should we go see the dean?, I believe they know about this” she said, breaking the hug

“sure” he smiled, holding her hand out

They got to the dean’s office and knocked

The door was opened by Lett with a big smile on his face and when they made to bow, he stopped them

“No your majesties, I dare not take a bow from you two anymore” he quickly said

” You….you know?” Min asked

” Yes your majesty, the moon split into two, that’s an evidence” he replied, looking up

They looked up too and truly the moon is in two equal halves

“Let’s enter the lodge of fame, Asher is waiting” he said

“We can enter?” Kaitlyn asked

” Yes your majesty, since you know your true identities” he replied, leading the way to the lodge

They followed and he opened the door immediately they got there

They entered and met Asher with smiles on his face

“Don’t bow please” Asher said and bowed instead

“I know it looks strange, but since the queen now knows her real identity, we’ll be cursed if you bow down for us* Lett said

“Oh” Kaitlyn said

“Congrats on knowing your true identity” Asher said

*Thanks Dean” she replied

“How many kisses left?” Lett asked

“Three” Min replied

“Then I guess practices should resume tommorow, we need to prepare cos things will start getting tough, the demons aren’t relaxing” Asher said

” Will she be announced as the queen now?” Min asked

“No, that’ll bring more attention, the kiss should finish first before anything else” Lett replied

” Then after that?” Kaitlyn asked

” Oh, immediately the you get crowned as queen, you’ll have to keep the academy orb inside you” Asher said

” Like I’ll swallow it?” Kaitlyn asked

“Yes, it’ll be in your belly cos that’s it’s original habitat” Lett replied

” But be careful, your majesty you should always stay be your queen, like I said, things will start getting critical, and beware of deception” Asher said

” Deception?’ Min and Kaitlyn chorused

“Yes, deception” Lett added

“When you finally get crowned, get ready for a lot of weaknesses and also a lot of powers” Lett said

” Weakness and powers?, That sounds hard” Min heaved

Demons coven**

Mika and Rainbow came out of the dark room, sweating profusely and breathing heavily

The mark is on their backs already and they feel different at the power they carry

“Now you need to make it fast before the kiss completes, take her blood and find a way to keep her shut, then steal the orb, failure to obey means death” Cruella said

” Yes mistress” they chorused and smiled

“My girls, I wish you luck, feel free to come here anytime you like” Al Ana smiled

” No second chance once you fail, you two should keep that in your skull to avoid mistakes” Serpentine said

” Yes master” they bowed

“And…. always report here” Botis added

They left the coven and landed back in the woods

“It feels good right?” Mika asked

“Of course, now I feel like tearing Moon and Damon apart, there’s enough power to do that” Rainbow smiled

” Do you think taking the orb will be easy?” Mika asked

“I’m Dean Asher’s cousin, it’d be as easy as nothing, but first I’ll have to take care of Kaitlyn, after taking her blood, I’m locking her up” Rainbow said

” Where?” Mika asked

” Room of demons in the academy” Rainbow replied

Next day**

“sorceress” Kaitlyn called, knocking on her door early in the morning

Ursula opened the door and smiled at her sight

“Morning sorceress, I thought of coming to braid my hair before practice starts” she said

” Come in” Ursula replied gently and opened the door more widely

She went in with her and she offered a stool which she sat on

“How do you want it?” She asked

“Anyhow” Kaitlyn replied

“Your scent became stronger” Ursula said as she started braiding

” Actually sorceress” Kaitlyn said slowly

“Yes Queen?” Ursula smiled

“You knew it too’ Kaitlyn said, looking back at her

Ursula turned her head and continued braiding

“I’m a sorceress, what do you think my queen* she said

” I just found out last night” she replied

“I guess the Truth book appeared when it’s taking too long for you to know” she said

” Truth book?” Kaitlyn said

” Well now you know, how many kisses left from your king?” She asked

” Three, we’re about to get there” Kaitlyn smiled

“It won’t be easy, so brace up your majesty” Ursula said and noticed something on Kaitlyn’s scalp

A starlike small mark somewhere in her scalp and that made her remember Maureen’s scalp

She has same mark right there though she never noticed but her friend who helped her give birth made mention of it back then

“You have this mark on your scalp since birth?” Ursula asked

“Oh, the star?, Yes” she replied

” Who are your parents?” Ursula asked

” Mr and Mrs Reed, though they sent me out of the house cos they hate me” she replied

” Your parents are ordinary beings?” Ursula asked

” Must every supernatural being have powerful parents too?”

“No , but the queen must” Ursula replied and the practice bell rang

Kaitlyn stood quickly

” Thanks for your kindness, I need to go practice” she said quickly and rushed out

” No, it’s because I’m desperate, I shouldn’t think too much about it” Ursula thought

Kaitlyn got to the practice ground and saw everyone is present except unconscious Mercury

“I love the braids in your hair” Venus said

“Really?, I didn’t even bother checking the mirror, sorceress made it” she replied

” It’s cool” Athens smiled

” You look sad these days” Kaitlyn said

“Just something” Athena smiled and left the ground

“Mercury will wake up soon, I can feel it” Venus said

“I hope so” Kaitlyn replied and suddenly felt an hand slipped into hers.

It’s surely Min and she smiled before facing him. “My king” she said

“You should have told me you’re done with the sorceress, I told you not to go anywhere without me” he said

” But we’re here together now” Kaitlyn replied and pecked him, making him blush heavily

“Trying to oppress me but no” Venus said

“Hey guys” Eden waved, coming to them

” Hi” Venus waved back

Eden smiled at her before greeting Kaitlyn and Min properly

“Pervert, good morning” Kaitlyn said

“Oh please” Eden smiled

” Be good” Min said and he only nodded

“Gotcha!” Moon said loudly, jumping in with Damon behind

“Bunch of fools* Rainbow said, passing by

” oh, miss loser, can you please go in peace or would you rather go in pieces?’ Venus said, summoning get sword

Rainbow smiled and left. “As if you’re my match if I decide to crush you, you’ll die ” she thought

” What did you say we should do?” Mika asked, joining her

“We can’t use our dark powers during practice cos uncle or witchy Kaitlyn will detect, but we can do something really nasty” Rainbow said

” I think I get it, we should poison Moon or Damon with the butterfly?” Mika said

” Sure* Rainbow said and summoned the butterfly, after poisoning it with their saliva, they let it go and no one will ever notice it’s aim but Kaitlyn felt uncomfortable and started looking around

“Why am I feeling this way?” She asked herself and her eyes suddenly caught the butterfly

She wouldn’t have noticed if not for the dark aura surrounding the butterfly

She’s about to kill it with hand fire but there suddenly came a flying robe that made everyone silent

Till it landed, they never knew it’s a human and it’s indeed a human

“Elaina?” Kaitlyn said slowly, watching as she landed majestically, capturing the butterfly easily and she neutralized the poison with her saliva before it turned to dust and dissappeared with the wind

“Who the hell is she?” Mika fumed

Ursula is just coming out and so is Asher

Elaina bowed in respect after which she gave Mika and Rainbow daring glances

“Rotten things” she thought and faced the dead again
