Nighttime**

The grief in the academy is becoming less and less, the Juniors are smiling though not big smiles, just short ones better than the sad faces

Mercury is still unconscious though her fever is better now

Damon came out to the practice ground and sat with Moon under the shinning moon

He’s not crying anymore, maybe he has cried enough cos truly, the tears won’t bring back the dead

“I’m glad you came out” Moon said, slowly holding his hand

” Crying won’t bring him back,I just realized” he replied

“Yes, that’s the truth, so now you need to smile brightly” she replied

Damon smiled but it’s a sad one

” That’s not close to bright” Moon said, urging him

“I think I can’t smile brightly yet, just a little more time” he said

” Oh, let’s wait for that, but promise me you’ll never cry anymore” Moon replied

” I promise” he replied, gently placing his head on her shoulder

” Good boy” Moon said and he smiled, holding her hand more tightly as if not to let it go till forever

Once again, Athena’s heartache got bigger and more severe from where she’s watching them from

She held her chest and hit it lightly. “It hurts so much here” she said, fighting back her tears as she turned back to go but met Rainbow and Mika behind her

“Oh, it seems I’m not the only one experiencing one sided love” Mika said

” Sure, Moon came for Damon and our Athena has been heartbroken” Rainbow replied

Athena made to leave but Rainbow pulled her back

“I have nothing to say to you two” she said

“But we have something to say to you, since we’re both on the same boat, why don’t you join us?” Mika asked

” Join what?” Athena asked

” Our team, we three will make one great team” Rainbow said

*What do you mean?” Athena asked obliviously

” Oh, well I’m in love with Min Lee, and Kaitlyn is being an obstacle, you’re obviously in love with Damon but Moon is being an hindrance, let’s work together and take the two lowlifes away” Mika said

” So this is it” Athena said

” What?” Mika replied

” You came here because of Min” Athena replied

“So what?” Mika replied

“I should really draw the line between the two, point of correction, yes I love Damon, but what you feel for Min is called lust” Athena squinted

” There’s no difference between love and lust” Rainbow replied

” You’re really brainless to say that Rainbow” Athena replied

” What!, You’re an ordinary maid, how dare you speak to me in that manner, besides being one of the most powerful here, I’m the dean’s cousin so watch your mouth” Rainbow spat

” I just told you the truth so take it or leave it, and to you Mika, rather than joining you to ruin lives, I’d rather die without getting loved, I love Damon more than anything and the only thing I’ve always wished for is his happiness so I won’t do anything to hurt him, even if he loves Moon, I’m ok with it so far he’s happy, it hurts but I know how to endure till what I feel for him will wash away” Athena replied and started walking away

” That’s absurd, come back here!” Mika said angrily and rushed to her with Rainbow

On getting to her, Rainbow slapped Athena and she fell with an hurting cheek

“You’re a fool!, We just offered you a golden chance but you blew it off, you even had the guts to insult” Mika said

” You both are just… like flame, they leave the fire and get lost with the wind, you’ll both regret being like this” Athena said

Rainbow directed sound waves to her ears and she almost screamed her heart out as the waves entered her ear, almost deafening her

Mika built an extra wall round the place so her cries won’t be heard

Blood came out of her ears and she became internally wounded them Mika summoned her sword and slashed Athena’s arm with it

She cried out in agony again as her arm started bleeding

Though she hadn’t thought about dying so soon but she slowly started giving up when she saw Rainbow summoning her own sword too

But she remembered Damon. “Even if I can’t have him, I want to keep seeing him, I can’t die yet” she thought and managed to bring out the whistle from her jacket pocket

She blew it immediately…

“Athena” Damon said and spranged up immediately he heard the whistle sound in his ears

“What?’ Moon asked

” Athena is in danger” he replied and vanished

Moon followed him and they both landed at the hidden place when Rainbow was about to slash Athena for the second time

Damon controlled the sword with his eyes and it fell off Rainbow’s hand, her hand became difficult to move that instant

Moon used the finger gun technique and shot Mika on the arm

“Aarrgh!” Mika yelled and staggered

Damon rushed to Athena and tilted her up

“Are you ok?, Huh?, Athena are you fine?” He asked, hugging her tightly not minding her bleeding arm

“I’m ok now.. thanks for coming” Athena replied, hugging him tighter, this way she’s able to feel his warmth again

“What did you do to my arm!” Rainbow said, wriggling in pains

“Till we leave here, you’ll be in pains” Moon replied

Mika is still holding unto her bloody arm that’s bleeding as a result of the gunshot

“It’s ok now, let’s go, I’ll take you to your room” Damon said and carried Athena in his arms

“Your case will reach the dean early tomorrow morning” he said to the two devils before leaving the place with Moon and true to Moon’s words, that’s when Rainbow’s arm relieved her

“They’ll pay for this” she threatened

“I’ll help you with the bullet” she said to Mika before leading the way out of the place

Athena healed her wounds when they got to her room but it seems the internal wound will take a while before it’ll heal so she needs rest

“You shouldn’t go to the kitchen for now, just rest ok?” Damon said, laying her on the bed

” Will you stay here?” She asked

“Of course, I and Moon will stay with you” Damon replied and she smiled

*And first thing tomorrow, we’re reporting this to the Dean” Moon said

” No need, I’m fine now and I’m sure they’ll never bother me since I now have two protectors” she replied

” Are you sure?” Damon asked

She held Damon’s hand and nodded

Damon sat beside her and smiled while slightly touching her forehead

“I’m glad you didn’t develop fever” he said

“I’m ok seriously” she replied

“I’ll get the curing balm” Moon said

“No, I’ll be fine without it, trust me” she replied and Moon relented

“it’s a good thing you blew the whistle on time” Damon said

” I know right?” She replied

The forth moon kiss completed, Kaitlyn and Min strolled back to the academy from the woods where they’ve been since the moon came out, now left with three kisses

“We’re getting closer to the end, things will start getting tough” Min said

” Meaning?” Kaitlyn asked

” You don’t have to worry” he smiled and they kept going till they got to the academy

They went straight to Mercury’s room and met only Venus with her

“What of sorceress Ursula?” Kaitlyn asked

“She said she has business to take care of in the city so she left” Venus replied

” Oh” Kaitlyn said

” And how are Damon and Eden doing now?” Min asked

“Damon is already loosening up but Eden is still moody, I need to go see him, stay with my sis please” Venus replied

” Sure” Kaitlyn said and Venus left

Getting to Eden’s room, she saw him standing moodily

“Still moody?, It won’t help” she said

“I just can’t help it” he replied

Venus moved closer and touched his shoulder

“You can do it, Depp won’t be happy if he sees you like this” she said

” That jerk” Eden smiled

” That’s the spirit” Venus replied

Eden looked at her and heaved. “Thanks for staying” he said

“It’s ok” Venus smiled

City of Seoul**

Ursula walked out of the tenth temple and still, she hasn’t found any girl who bears Kal as her surname

It’s sunny even when it’s still early, it’s middle summer and everywhere is hot

She got out of the the temple and inhaled hard

“I just have to work harder, if I search for a few more days, I might just find her” she thought and proceeded

Asher breathed out heavily where he’s standing

He actually saw when she took off from the academy and he decided to follow when he got curious

“Searching for the child?, Or a clue to finding her?” He wondered, watching as she entered a cab that’ll take her to the next temple

“Is she really… different from the Ursula I knew?, Is she changed?* He asked himself

“I’m so annoyed, I’ll surely tear Athena to pieces if she reports me, uncle will get mad at me and might tell me to break wood with my hand” Rainbow said, walking into the woods that moonlit night

She has succeeded in removing the bullet from Mika’s arm and they’re busy roaming the woods

“Breaking woods with our hands?, I don’t even want to think about it after breaking stones the other time, all Deans are wicked” Mika replied

” You want powers to break anything with your hands without getting hurt?” Al Ana’s voice sounded behind

They both looked back swiftly and summoned their swords fast

“Who are you?’ Mika questioned

” I’m not here to fight, I’m Al Ana” she replied calmly

” Why are you here?” Rainbow asked

” To offer you both something precious” she replied

“As if demons have anything precious to present ” Mika smirked

“That’s true, isn’t that why Depp died?, You used him” Rainbow said

” Yes we did, but he died because he failed to do what we told him to do after getting powers” Al Ana replied cunningly

” And what was that?” Mika asked

” To steal the academy orb and bring the queen here to us” she replied

” The queen?” Rainbow said

” Kaitlyn, she’s your queen” Al Ana replied

” You mean queen of supernatural beings?” Mika said

” Yes” Al Ana replied

” What!” They both chorused

” But now we don’t need her entire self again, we just need a drop of her blood to wake our demon Princess then the academy orb, that’s all we need” Al Ana replied, smiling

” So she’s the queen, no wonder she has crazy powers, no matter how I think about it, it only makes me hate her more” Rainbow said

Al Ana smiled more widely

” After waking your princess with her blood, what’ll happen to her?” Mika asked

” Princess Kaitlyn will die cos all her powers will get drained to princess Amoura’s body” Al Ana replied

Mika faced Rainbow and they smiled at each other before jointly facing her

“We’re ready” they chorused

Kaitlyn watched Min who’s sleeping on his bed already

She did a lot before he agreed to sleep cos he insisted on watching her sleep but she declined and decided to be the one to do that tonight

He’s sleeping handsomely and she admired him more

“My king, sleep well” she said and a bright light suddenly illuminated the room

She looked back and saw it’s a book on his table

“A shinning book?” She wondered, standing slowly

She walked to the book and Immediately her hand touched it, it stopped shinning

She took it and dropped it again but surprisingly immediately she dropped it, it shined again

Out of curiosity, she picked it and opened it

“Why are you shinning dear book?” She said, flipping through the pages

She got confused at first but she later decided to calm down and read through

She went back to the first page and found out it’s about the supernatural queen

“The supernatural queen is the most powerful of all the supernatural beings, with her king who’ll have her tear cowry on his neck” she read

” Oh, interesting, I wonder where she is” she said and continued reading

” She’ll have the moon mark which is in form of a sword at the back of her neck and it’ll hurt with agonizing pains every moonlit night till…”

She stopped reading and rubbed her eyes before reading that part again

“My…my mark?” She stuttered and continued

“Till she gets her complete seven under the moon kisses from her king”

” What!” She almost screamed and her heartbeat won’t stop being irregular

“On the day she receives the seventh kiss, her crown will appear before her and her ruling bell, then her king will crown her” she read and the book fell off her hands

” Changmin” she said slowly and saw rays of light coming from him

She looked at his side and saw it’s actually from his neck, the cowry is shinning, obviously revealing itself to her..

She almost fell but held the wall

“It means I am……no this is actually a dream, I need to wake up” she said and slapped herself

” Wake up Kaitlyn!”
