“Serpentine let her go!” Eden stated, stretching forth his hand and his sword appeared on it

*This is not a matter of sword idiot” Mercury said

” Shut up fool! ” Eden replied angrily

“I was telling you the truth, dumbass” Mercury replied, rolling eyes at him

“I’ll pluck out those eyes” Eden said and made to go to her angrily but Venus stopped him

“Is this the right time for your blind anger?, Athena is dying!” She said seriously

Damon finally stood again and is still breathing heavily

” What do you want serpentine?, Why are you here and why are you holding her captive! ” He yelled

” I want the academy orb, and if I don’t get it now, I’ll make sure the blood of this soul wets the ground” he replied in his ugly voice and his hold tightened on her neck

“Aarrgh!” Athena screamed

The academy orb is like the glory of the academy, it’s one of the most precious weapon they use in battles, kept in Dean Asher’s secret room

“The academy orb isn’t something you can just come here and ask for like chicken, and get ready to die! ” Rainbow said angrily and swiftly blew air out of her mouth, it turned to the seven rainbow colours but this one is blinding, they all had to close their eyes except Damon and Mercury who are not affected

The blinding rainbow hit serpentine’s face and he went blind temporarily, that made him drop Athena who passed out immediately

Damon grabbed a sword from the air and slashed the demon’s chest with it

“Aaarrrrggghhhhhhh!!” He screamed, his agonizing cry filled the whole academy

Mercury made to slash too but he dissappeared

Damon rushed to Athena with Venus, she’s bleeding from the mouth and there are swells on her neck

“Let’s get her treated” Damon said and Venus nodded as he carried her out of the place, Venus followed behind

“So now we have time, say what you said the other time” Eden said to Mercury who was just taking her seat

The other students are leaving in twos and threes already

“I don’t have time to talk to a fool, leave” Mercury smirked

Eden went to her and tried to slap her but she held his hand tight, almost cracking his bones

“Aarrgh!” Came a loud scream from him, her hold is agonizing

“Apologize” Mercury said

Eden tried to attack with the other hand too but she grabbed it and squeezed it hard

“Apologize or I’ll cripple you” Mercury said

” The Dean is coming! ” Rainbow announced and Mercury let go of him

It turned out that no Dean is coming, that was a prank

“Avoid me, I’m not the nice type and you’re no match for my Powers, you can go try out your powers with Depp, you might be his match” Mercury scowled before leaving angrily

Depp smiled. “I believe I’ll be the one to kill you…. Mercury” he said slowly

Eden looked at him and Depp smiled curtly

” Sorry triplet brother” Depp mocked

“Her pulse is still not stable, I don’t think she’ll wake up anytime soon” Venus said after treating Athena and laying her down on the bed

They are all capable of treating, it’s one of the special teachings from Dean Asher

“Who’ll be cooking for us before she wakes?” Damon wondered

“We’ll resort to eating wild fruits till then” Venus smiled

“I don’t think serpentine is giving up, the fact that he retreated fast like that, he’s coming back, I stabbed him so he’ll try to make me his scapegoat then, but I won’t give him the chance” Damon inhaled

” You must be close with Athena a lot” Venus said, looking over at unconscious Athena

” Yes, she’s my closest friend in here, she’s closer to me than my two triplet brothers” he replied

” Oh” Venus smiled

” Annyeonghaseyo ( hello )” Min said over the phone after dialling the number on the flyer

“Hi , how may we help?”

“I actually saw one of your flyers concerning the admission, I’d love to be a part of the school, I’m a supernatural too”

” Great, your name please? ”

” Changmin Lee” he beamed

“When do you plan on resuming? ” The voice asked.

” How fast… Well, how about tomorrow? ” He replied

” It’s ok, by exactly 7:30 tommorow morning, you’ll find yourself in the woods of the academy, you’ll have to pass the test of finding the academy by yourself”

” That won’t be a problem, House 4, Daegu, that’s my address” he replied

” Best of luck, we’ll be expecting you”

Min hung up and vanished from the living room to his room

” Now let’s start packing up” he thought

Dean Asher inhaled softly after staying beside Athena’s bed for almost ten minutes

Despite the fact that he has spent two thousand years on Earth, he’s still very young, and that’s because he’s immortal

“Serpentine, he won’t give up easily, I’ve been expecting when that wicked snake will show up and here he is, you guys need to practice more, both in swords fighting and your inner powers, Damon tell the announcer to ring the gathering bell, I need to address you all” he said

Damon bowed before leaving to carry out his orders

They all gathered in the wide practice ground and Dean Asher appeared, he took his seat and scanned everyone with his eyes before clearing his throat

“Serpentine is not an easy demon, he’s the first demon that’ll ever ask for the orb, and trust me he’s not giving up so you all have to be careful” he said

” Yes Dean!” They all chorused

” Swords fighting practice starts tonight, you guys will be practicing under the full moon, the winner gets to live with me in the Lodge of Fame for a day” he announced

” Yay!!!” They all shouted

Lodge Of Fame is the dean’s apartment in the academy and it’s full of new things to learn,. No one has ever entered with him and it’s sure that anyone who enters with him will gain more powers

“It’s better for you guys to start practicing right now for the competition, and for the power training, a lot of you has lost your inner concentration, some like Eden” he said

Mercury and Depp giggled and Eden scowled

” The power training will start tommorow morning, and we’re having a new student tommorow morning too, so let’s meet here tonight for the competition” Dean Asher concluded before leaving..

They started discussing with each other about the competition

“Guess who’ll win” a student said

“Mercury” someone said Immediately

” Mercury” another one said

Mercury smiled arrogantly

” Damon” one said

Mercury shot him dangerous glances

” Obviously Damon”

” It’s Damon” like ten students said Damon

Damon ignored everyone and went back to the treatment room to stay with Athena

“Where are the fans of Depp?” Another student asked

Over six raised their hands

” I go for Rainbow” Venus said, holding Rainbow’s hand

” I go for Eden” Rainbow said

” I can’t possibly win with my lack of potentials, I’m the weakest of the triplets” he replied

Rainbow held his hand without knowing

“No, just believe in yourself” she said

“Let go of my hand!” he yelled

” I’m sorry” Rainbow replied slowly and let it go

Depp and Mercury glared at each other dangerously, telling each other with their eyes that they’re dangerous

“Eden!’ Rainbow called, rushing after him before he’ll enter the guys chamber

He looked back. “Yes?”

“Let’s practice swords fighting together against tonight” she said

” Not interested” he replied coldly and entered his room immediately

“I hate you!’ she ranted, feeling pained for getting rejected

” You’re just so stupid” Mercury said from behind her

She looked back angrily

” This is none of your business” she replied

Mercury crossed her arms on her chest

“Well I’m aware you’re in love with him, but it looks stupid to me, you don’t even have enough power yet but you’re crushing?”

Rainbow made to walk away but Mercury held her back

” No one walks out on me” she said

“I need to, cos I have nothing to say to you, let me go!” Rainbow snapped

” Should I gouge out your eyes?” Mercury said

Rainbow got angry and closed her eyes, the seven Rainbow colours appeared and the force of it pushed Mercury away from her

She landed on the ground far away

Mercury looked up in surprise

“Stay away from me” Rainbow said sternly before leaving

Mercury stood slowly. “How did she….oh no, this can’t be happening”

An hour from the competition**

Depp walked deep into the forest as usual to meet Cyclops

He took long before coming out of the tree and he has an angry look on his face

“Why do you take disturbance as your hobby?, I was retreating” he complained

” I’m here for a very important thing” Depp replied

” Looking for another person’s weakness again?”

“No, I want more inner powers, a competition is coming up in an hour time and I must win” he replied

” Swords fighting?” Cyclops asked, his one eye rolling

“Yes”

“Using powers is not allowed”

“None of your business Cyclops, just give me what I want” he replied

” I can’t, I can’t transmit powers during retreat, and you’re aware” Cyclops replied

” Gosh!, What do I do? ”

” Meet Serpentine or Cruella” Cyclops replied

” Those two dangerous demons?, No” Depp stated

“Oh, Serpentine is wounded right now, meet Cruella, you’ll get help” Cyclops said before vanishing

” Bad!” Depp ranted frustratedly

It’s thirty minutes before the fight right now, no chance to meet anyone again, he returned to the academy

The moon is sitting on the sky, shinning light for others, but for Kaitlyn, is shun pains

She’s going through the agonizing pains again and shedding blood but this time, it’s Impossible to cry silently

She cried out loud cos the pains kept growing

Lorraine entered her room first and ran out at what she saw

She came back with their parents some minutes later and they can’t seem to be able to hide their shocks too

“Witch!, Oh my God! How scary!” Mrs Reed exclaimed

“She’s shedding blood” Mr Reed said

“And that mark at the back of her neck is shinning” Lorraine said terrifically

They watched as she wallowed in pains for almost ten minutes and the moonlight left her room after that

She stopped shedding blood and started shedding real tears, it dropped on the ground and the tiles broke, pretty flowers sprouted out of the ground

Their eyes widened

“No, no I can’t take this!, Out of my house!” Mr Reed shouted

“Yes leave!, Witch leave!” Mrs Reed added

Lorraine went to her closet and put all her few clothes and two snickers In a small bag before throwing it at her

“Leave!” She shouted

“Mummy, daddy, Lorraine you guys can’t do this to me,I have nowhere to go” she cried and tiles kept breaking, flowers kept growing

Lorraine went to her and pulled her out of the room and eventually out of the house

“You’re not even my daughter so leave!” Mrs Reed said and closed the door

As if to mock her cruel fate, it started raining

“Where will I go?” She cried.

Five minutes to the competition**

Venus and Rainbow can be seen practicing with swords

Damon practiced alone, Depp practiced alone too

Eden sat without practicing

Mercury is just coming in

She looked at everyone like flies and finally settled her glare on Rainbow

She smirked and started practicing too

“If you win, there’ll be no morning for three days, and you know that’s not possible so it’s Impossible for you to win, stop trying” Depp said, walking past her

Mercury wield her sword and placed it on his neck

He smiled and pushed it away

“Today is not another fighting day for us” he said before leaving

“Jerk!” Mercury spat

Venus knocked Rainbow down for the third time during practice

“You’ve lost a lot of skills” Venus said

“That’s because I don’t practice regularly these days” Rainbow replied, feeling jealous

” It’s better to put more effort” Venus said

“Are you making jest of me now?” She rolled her eyes

” No I..

“Don’t talk to me” Rainbow snapped and left

“She’s really Rainbow” Venus sighed

Damon practiced silently, letting his mind hover around Athena, she’s still unconscious and he’s worried as hell!

The academy bell rang and they all stopped practicing, they moved to the competition ground

It’s like the moon in the academy is brighter than the moon anywhere else, it’s like they’re in the afternoon cos of it’s brightness

Dean Asher is already seated patiently as they all converged

“The junior students should sit, they’re not participating” a teacher said

The Juniors sat immediately

The seniors which includes Depp Mercury, Venus, Eden, Damon and Rainbow converged in the front

“Here are the two rules; the first person to get wounded loses, you are supernatural beings so you can’t die cos of a stab with an ordinary sword like you know, and secondly, you can’t use powers, it’s ordinary swordfight” a master said

“The swords fighting competition shall now begin” the teacher said again and took a book

” First to go forward… Rainbow Kim and Eden Ceaser” he said

“I don’t want to fight him, but I want to live in the Lodge Of Fame with uncle for a day” Rainbow thought as she moved forward with Eden

They took their bows and removed their swords from the sheaths

“Let’s get started” Eden thought and charged forward first

Rainbow met him in the middle and they started the fight

Anytime his eyes meets hers, she becomes weaker and weaker

Yeah, he’s the only weakness she has, how she started growing feelings for him is unexplainable

“Rain you can’t be like this” Venus said silently

Mercury smiled satisfactorily as she watched

Rainbow tried hard to fight the effect his eyes has on hers but it’s useless, she became totally vulnerable and Eden has the chance to slash her thigh

She fell with a bleeding thigh, breathing heavily and unable to stand

“Eden Ceaser wins this round, next up is Eden Ceaser and Depp Ceaser” the teacher said

Some junior students took Rainbow out of the arena as Depp came forward

“I won’t go easy on you” Depp smiled

“Your wish, I won’t lax either” Eden replied and made the first move, Depp howled towards him and made dangerous moves

Moves no one has saw him practicing before

“Where did he learn those moves from?” Mercury wondered

” Well I practiced throughout last night and I’ve been practicing since morning too, it won’t be a problem” she thought again

Eden is already sweating profusely as Depp kept giving him back to back, not relenting even a bit

He tried to stab Depp but Depp is faster, he ducked and somersaulted three times and kept laying down

Eden jumped up and made to land his sword on Depp but Depp rolled off the place and Eden fell instead

Depp sank his sword on his stomach and blood came out of his mouth

Depp removed his sword roughly from Eden’s bleeding stomach and smiled in victory

“Depp Ceaser wins this round, next up is Depp Ceaser and Venus Levine” the announcer said as Eden left the arena himself, holding his stomach

Venus came forward and fought viciously too, she almost succeeded in wounding Depp but he’s more clever, he’s skilled in ducking and avoiding stabs

Venus got slashed on the shoulder and Depp gave that smug little smile again as Venus left

“Depp Ceaser won this round…next up is Depp Ceaser and Mercury Levine” the announcer said

A glad smile crept to Depp’s lips as Mercury stepped forward

“You’re about to bleed” he said

“Continue barking” Mercury smiled arrogantly before charging forward

Depp advanced towards her swiftly too, their loud aggressive sounds of their clashing swords is enough verification that they’re the worse enemies

They both are capable of floating in the air so they occasionally float to fight and everyone has to look up to watch

None is ready to lose, they’re both desperate and tough, Mercury escaped a slash from Depp and her sword fell, same mistake she made the other time

Depp smiled and charged towards her to stab her immediately but she flew and landed on a tree, making all the leaves on the tree fall

Depp followed her but immediately he landed on the tree, Mercury took off and left the tree, she landed back on the ground and quickly grabbed her sword

Depp came back and she attacked him with her leg immediately, she kicked him and he fell

He tried to stand but she placed her sword on his neck to obstruct him

Depp felt defeated as he lay there quietly, breathing heavily

“Where’s your pride?, Son of the devil” Mercury smiled in defeat before slashing him across the chest down his stomach

” Aarrggghhh!!!” He screamed in agony, the deepest slash he has ever received

His blood Started flowing immediately and he needs quick medical attention to avoid landing in coma for at least a week

He was quickly shifted out of the place and Mercury smiled at her bloody sword

“Last up…. Mercury Levine and Damon Ceaser” ..
