Mount Vernon**

Moon sat gently on her window that bright night, watching the beautiful moon smiling in the sky

“Moon, my namesake” she smiled, staring more deeply and inside the moon sitting on the sky, she saw Damon’s face and her smile grew wider

“Damon” she said slowly, wishing she can touch the moon

“Damon” she whispered again, raising up her hand as if to touch the moon

“I miss him” she thought sadly

“I miss him and he won’t leave my head, I keep thinking about him like he’s the first guy I’ll ever see, why is he so different?, Why do you have to have such a beautiful smile?, Why are you so easy to like?, I don’t like guys but you’ll be the first, why am I like this over you?’ she asked herself

“I couldn’t even concentrate during power practice” she said and checked out her wounded hand

She got wounded during power practice cos she wasn’t concentrating and Mika made jest of her a lot, it was sad

She dropped her head on her palm and sniffed. “What do I do?, Why do I feel so connected with him?, What did he do to me? ” She said

She stayed by her window, thinking about him till daybreak and she got dark circles under her eyes as a result

When the breakfast bell was rang, she walked to the dinning sadly, she’s a loner who talks to no one before Damon and the others from AOS arrived but now that they’re gone, she still craves for him and Mount Vernon has been as boring as hell!

She entered the hall and sat, she was served with the other students but the meal looks unappetizing to her so she ate slowly though she’s just trying

“How pitiful” Mika laughed beside her

She looked at her and concentrated back on her food

” You miss him that much?” Mika said

“It’s not your business” she replied

” Just trying to help since you look lonely” Mika said

“Even if we’re the only two on Earth, that won’t make me see you as my gist mate” she said and stood then left the hall immediately

She changed her direction to the Dean’s office and knocked gently

The dean sounded a loud “come in” from inside and she slowly went in

“Moon” Wang said, looking up at her but when he saw the unhappiness on her face, he sighed

“What’s wrong?” He asked

“Master I….” She said

“Talk to me” he replied

“I can switch academies right?” She asked, finally looking up

” You’re moving to AOS? ” He asked

” Yes Dean, please I beg you, as fast as possible” she replied, going on her knees

The demons coven***

Cruella left the front of her mirror and smirked while going to sit on her chair

“I told you, i said fate changes, but you always feel like the real deal, your don’t take other people’s opinions, that’s why we’re in this mess, now Mercury’s bitterness is disappearing and that is perfectly making him love her more, his ears will be deafened towards us, you lost at last, as if I’ve known” Al Ana said, stroking her cat’s head and the cat kept mewing

“How did this happen?” Serpentine asked

“I never knew it’ll turn out to be like this, she was destined to be hateful and bitter just like Depp till death but grandmother samshin decided to change her fate just at the verge, and that’s because they’re matchmade from heaven” Cruella replied

” You didn’t see that before deciding to use him?* Botis asked and all Cruella did was keep quiet

“Find another student from the academy to use, we’re losing time, King Dantalion will soon be back and I won’t want him to be disappointed and we need to wake princess Amoura!” Serpentine yelled, looking at the fire tomb of the princess

“Another student from the academy?, What if same thing repeats itself* Al Ana said

“Do it first” serpentine replied

“And about the wasted student” Botis said

*Capture him, bring him here, the powers shall be drained back from his body and I’ll personally kill him” serpentine replied

Three days later, AOS**

The academy has been peaceful since the students returned from Mount Vernon, no demon came so it has been calm though no guard was let down

Mercury and Depp are taking a walk slowly down the academy pavilion hand in hand with smiles on their faces, they look at each other and smile everytime

“Guess how I feel right now” Depp said, stopping to hold her second hand

“Happy?” She asked, slowly licking her lower lip

“No” he replied, rubbing the back of her hand fondly

“Overjoyous?” She said

“No” he replied, stepping closer

“Glad?’ she said

” No ” he replied and pecked her slowly on the cheek

“Then how do you feel?” She asked, smiling brightly

“I feel in love” he replied radiantly

” Sweet, if I was told I’ll be like this with you three months ago, I’d deny it” Mercury smiled

” Me too, but I guess we should just embrace the moment” he replied

” Yes, let’s embrace it, I’ll protect you” she said

” I should be the one saying that” he replied, feeling slight pains on his back

” Are you ok?” She asked worriedly

“I’m ok…au!” He winced sharply

She held his hand and they vanished to appear in his room

He fell on the ground in pains, Mercury made to take off his shirt but stopped herself

“This is not right” she thought

“Take it off, it hurts a lot” he said painfully

She quickly took off the shirt and that revealed the mark on his back, the gigantic scorpion mark that’s glaring

“A …a scorpion mark” she said

“The sign that I’m a demon, I’m one of them Mercury, I’m in pains” he said, wincing in pains

” Is it that hurtful?” Mercury asked, feeling hurt too

” Yes, my back feels like a whole gallon of pepper was sprinkled on it” he replied

She stared at his back for a while before hugging it

“I’m sorry you have to pass through all these” she said

“hold tighter,I feel better” he said slowly, holding her hand to himself.

Walking down the hallway with Min, Kaitlyn won’t stop swinging his arm in her hand

She’s just always happy anytime she’s with him and that’s exactly what she’s feeling right now too

“I can’t wait for the next moon” she said

” Initially you were always scared of the moon” Min smiled

” Not anymore when I have my king with me” she replied

” King?” Min said, stopping to look at her

” Yes, you call me your queen so I found the suitable name for you and it matched” she replied, acting cute

He swept her off her feet and carried her in his arms

*I love it” he said

” Really?, Then I guess I should get used to it” she replied, winking seductively

” So a queen also seduces” he teased

“Sure, I have the greatest charm” she replied

“Cute you two” Ursula’s voice said behind them

Min gently placed Kaitlyn down and her face brightened up when she saw her

“Sorceress” she beamed

“You always look good” Ursula said

“You always look stunningly beautiful too, I also envy your long hair” Kaitlyn replied

” Min” Ursula smiled

” Goodday sorceress” he replied warmly

“Continue taking care of your queen till the real war will come” she said, smiled shortly before leaving

She looked back at them after a while and smiled

“I wish you both won’t have a tragic end, it’d have been so beautiful” she said sadly

” I heard a new student is coming in today from Mount Vernon” Min said

“I hope it’ll be Moon” Kaitlyn replied

Damon sat on the practice ground, playing his keyboard slowly and reminiscing about Moon again, that’s what he does for most of these days.. thinking about her

Even while sleeping, only her face appears, making him wonder if he’s been charmed

He suddenly stopped playing and smiled. “I miss her, never knew it’ll be hard like this, I wish I can teleport to her, but seeing her once again will only make me miss her more” he thought

” Damon” that voice called behind him and his violin fell from his hands, there’s only one type of that voice in the world

He slowly stood and looked back and shockingly right behind him is Moon!

The girl he has been busy thinking about everyday, the personality he misses like crazy

Her pretty face formed into a smiley face when she saw him too, she’s with her bag and obviously without anyone telling him, Damon knows she’s here to stay

“Moon” he said, feeling immense happiness as he rushed to her and hugged her like his airbag

Moon’s bag fell from her hand and she hugged him back tightly, smelling his unique scent

“I missed you” Damon said slowly

Athena skipped all the way down the corridor that led to the practice ground in search of Damon with smiles on her face

She looked at the flowers with her and smiled again but the smile dissappeared when she got to the end of the corridor and saw a shocking scene

Damon is hugging a girl right there and he kept tightening it every minute

The flowers fell from her instantly and she held the pole tightly so she won’t fall..

She felt her heart falling as she stared, friends hug but not tightly like this, and besides, Damon won’t hug randomly, not even her

“Who’s she?” She asked herself, touching her chest and walking backwards till she ran out of the place.
