UNDER THE MASK - EPISODE 25

Everyone started laughing loudly except Min and Kaitlyn

“She deserves it for badmouthing her kindness” Min said

“Rainbow’s head might really fly off” Kaitlyn said as Rainbow’s screams dominated the whole room

” Stop now” Asher’s voice said by the door just when Kaitlyn was about to stand and plead on Rainbow’s behalf

The attention of everyone turned to the door as Asher stepped in, somewhat angry

“Stop” he said gently

Ursula brought down her two fingers swiftly and Rainbow fell on the ground heavily though without injuries

“What do you think you just did?” Asher questioned

“What I do to recalcitrant and rude students* she replied, becoming frowny

“Really?, I was hoping you won’t be a troublemaker this time around, but too bad you’ve already started” Asher said

” Master, sorceress is not at fault, she was kind enough to make juice for us with her magical powers, but Rainbow poured it all away and called it crap” Eden said

Asher looked at Rainbow who’s just standing up, still sweating profusely

“So you’re still the same” he said

“I’m sorry uncle” she bowed

” Learn not to judge by just looking from now on” Ursula said and left immediately

” Uncle I’m really sorry, you know I never liked her from the start, and I never told her I wanted juice so… ”

Asher left the hall before Rainbow could finish

“That was one enjoyable movie” Eden said, laughing loudly

“Stop talking! ” Rainbow replied angrily

” You just need to hold my mouth before I’ll be able to do that, and that’s if you don’t get bitten cos I can’t imagine not giving you a bite if you try it” he replied

Rainbow rushed to him in all her anger and blew him away with the air waves

Eden flew to the other end of the hall as a result of that but he stood gallantly again

“Nice shot” he said and used the magnet movement to magnet her neck till she got to him

Having her neck in his hand, he grinned

“I can just make you leave the world right now” he said

Rainbow tried to save herself but his grip is too tight and it seems his powers is really greater

Kaitlyn stepped in and with a slash from her hand, she succeeded in separating them and Rainbow fell with a bleeding mouth while Eden only staggered

“What were you trying to do” Kaitlyn said

“It’s obvious, I was trying to end her life” he spat

” You’re worse than I thought” Kaitlyn replied

” What! ” Eden said

” Having the same mindset as your bitter enemy only makes you as bitter as she is, I know you hate her, but it shouldn’t be to the extent of killing her” she replied

” Kaitlyn…

“It’s ok” she replied, raising her hand in the air

” I never asked for your support anyways” Rainbow said, standing up

“And I wasn’t supporting you, I was just supporting mother nature” Kaitlyn replied sharply, making Rainbow wonder where she suddenly got sharp guts from

“Let’s go” Min said, taking Kaitlyn’s hand and she quietly followed him out of the hall

Eden and Rainbow stared at each other before Eden decided to walk away but Rainbow’s hand was the next thing he felt on his arm

He looked back swiftly with a frown. “Yes?” He asked, looking at the hand she’s holding

“I’m sorry, I was just angry that….”

Eden interrupted by removing his hand from her hold . ” I don’t need your sorry cos no matter what you do, I’ll forever hate you… With passion! ” He said and left after that

Damon and Venus watched everything like a melodrama and finally stood

“Wanna leave?” Athena asked

*Sure, I’ve watched enough drama today, I’ll see you” Venus replied and left

“I need to go play keyboard” Damon replied

“I’ll follow you” she replied, leading the way out of the hall while he followed, having Moon allover his mind.

Rainbow sat on one of the dinning chairs sadly

“He’ll forever hate me?, All because of Kaitlyn?” She thought.

Min gently sat on his bed with Kaitlyn when they got to his room

“Are you ok?, You looked angry back then” he said

” I’m ok, since we’re the only ones here, nothing to be angry about anymore, just that I was really angry at Rainbow back then” she replied

” But you acted like you were angry at Eden” Min said

” That’s because partly, Rainbow’s bitterness is his fault, who knows maybe if he loves her too, she might stop being harsh” she replied

” There should be no reason for harshness from anyone, we’re the cause of whatever happens to us in life, don’t forget that… even when she hasn’t fallen in love with him, Damon once told me she has always been bitter* Min said

“Oh” Kaitlyn replied

“So right now queen, you learnt something new, love is not the antidote to every poison” he said

” Some just needs change, a little change will do in Rainbow’s case, if she changes, Eden might start liking her, who knows” Min said

” I guess so” Kaitlyn smiled, standing up

” Where are you going to?” Min asked, standing too

“Get a book so we’ll read together” she replied and took two more steps but something stopped her, the ray of light from the moon suddenly entered the room and she almost got scared but when she felt Min’s hands around her, her fears dissipated

Min actually employed super speed in rushing to her immediately he saw the moon coming out , he held her shoulders and took her hair away from her back, dropping it on her shoulder then letting his lips cover the mark before it’ll start shinning

He stood like that for minutes till the moonlight stopped Illuminating the room then he slowly parted his lips from the mark

Kaitlyn slowly faced him and smiled. “Number two” she said

“Yes number two, we’re left with just five” he replied, pulling her into a hug

” Thanks for being my antidote” she said, smiling and closing her eyes on his shoulder.

Mercury never left Depp’s side till he’s perfectly fine to move

“Thanks for staying” he said slowly

“Tell me everything” she replied

“Everything?’ he asked, holding her hands

“Yes, Everything, why the pains?” She asked

“Mercury I’m…I’m a .. demon” he said

” You really mean that?” She asked

” Yes, I went in search of powers from….from… from” he found it difficult to say that moment and little blood escaped the corner of his mouth

“Depp” Mercury said, holding his face

“My throat is blocked, I can’t say the name of the person, seems like they inserted a lump in my throat right now” he said

” The demons?” Mercury asked

” Yes” he replied.

” Then you can write down their names right?” Mercury said, getting pen and paper but Immediately Depp held the pen to start writing, it broke

“You’re battling with strong people” Mercury said

” They gave me an assignment in exchange of the powers, I thought it’d be easy but it turned out harder than I thought” he said

” What assignment?” Mercury asked

He tried to talk again but he bled more

Mercury hugged him while rubbing his hair gently

“I’ll stay with you, I’ll do this with you, don’t you worry” she said

“My life is at stake, I’m scared, I don’t need powers anymore now that you’re with me, but they’ll kill me” he said fearfully

” Trust me I’ll protect you” Mercury replied

Ursula’s room**

Damon’s keyboard tunes can be heard in every part of the academy that bright night and Ursula is enjoying it in her room as she read the books she got from the library

Her mind drifted to her daughter again….”Maureen, I hope you’re fine, I can’t believe I’m not dead yet as a result of missing you so much” she thought, smiling sadly

” I regret leaving you in the streets back then, I never knew I was going to miss you this much, I never knew how much you mean to me back then, I just realized that it’s true that you don’t know the value of something till you lose it” she said and tears escaped her eyes, falling on the books and her tears turned to crystals immediately

Yeah her tears turns to crystals anytime she cries and she has a great collection of it

A knock sounded on the door and she quickly stood to go check after wiping her tears

She opened the door and came face to face with Asher

“We need to talk” he said

“On what?” Ursula asked bluntly

“My daughter” he replied

Ursula walked back in while he followed

“You care about your daughter?” She asked, facing him

” A lot, you won’t even allow me to see her, you took her away Immediately you gave birth in my absence” Asher replied hurtfully

” And that’s because I had no plans to birth a baby, it was just a mistake, I should have aborted it but you know my life line is not strong, I might die in the process and that’s why I gave birth to her and left her in a grocery store in the street of Seoul, she’ll be somewhere right now” she replied

” Ursula you did what!” Asher said shockingly

” I regretted that for everyday of my life Asher, but there’s nothing I can do” she replied

” You’re wicked in case you don’t know” Asher said

” Asher stop” she replied

” I won’t stop!, It’s my child we’re talking about, my only child!” He yelled

” She’s my child too!” Ursula reply

” But you threw her away, now I see a witch will always be a witch, I regret falling in love with you, you’ll never change!, You’re still as wicked as ever!” Asher said disappointedly and left the room

Ursula sat on her bed dejectedly. “Am I really wicked?”

“Back then I was wicked, but now I’m a changed person, I’m really changed but I can’t turn back the hands of the clock, I threw away my child” she cried.
