UNDER THE MASK - EPISODE 20

Min almost can’t believe what he just read, he had to reread but nothing changed

Then an additional thing is that the queen has to find out by herself that she’s the queen

He looked at the cowry on his neck and and looked at the book again

“So that’s why I always feel connected, that’s why I always feel the need to be with her, I’m her king” he said

He sat on his bed, still in shock about the secret that just got revealed

“I… Am the king?” He asked himself

He vanished from the room and landed in Kaitlin’s room

He looked at her for long before sitting beside her then he held her hand

“Where did you go?” Kaitlyn asked, opening her eyes

“You know I left here?” He smiled

“Of course, I can always feel your presence and absence” she replied

“I got something from my room” he said

” You went to read? ” She asked

” Well… Yes” he replied simply

” I knew it” she said and held his hand

” Don’t leave again, just sleep here” she said

Now he knows the reason behind the feels

He smiled and lay beside her on the bed

Their faces are just in front of each other and they kept smiling

“I wish I can see your face” Min said

“Anytime you wish to see it, I’m ready to show you” she said

He placed his palm on her mask

” Why? ” He asked

She drew closer and let her eyes roam his face

“You’re handsome” she said

“You’re pretty” he smiled, touching her neck

She closed her eyes and he moved his hand to the back of her neck

Immediately his hand touched the mark, she felt refreshed and more relaxed

“Keep touching it please” she whispered, holding his hand to her neck

” How do you feel?” He asked

“Just good” she whispered

He kept massaging the mark till she fell asleep, she snuggled closer and placed her hand around him, not wanting him to leave

Min smiled at her possessiveness and stayed with her

“My queen” he smiled

AOS**

Athena yawned lightly after waking up, feeling better

“Damon! ‘ she spranged up, thinking he’s with her but she got disappointed when she saw one of the Juniors with her

“Where’s Damon?” She asked

“He left since long ago” the junior replied

She went back to the sad mood but suddenly sighted a white paper beside her pillow, she quickly picked it and opened it up

It’s a letter from him and she feels relieved as she read it

*I’m sorry I won’t be able to wait till you wake up, I have to go Join the others, why didn’t you listen to the dean?, He said he told you not to leave the academy at night, why did you disobey and get yourself in trouble?, Why did you do it?, Just stay well and don’t get hurt again ok?, Listen to the dean’s from now on and you’ll be fine, I’m glad I got to see you again, I’ll miss you.. TAKE CARE*

She smiled after reading it and held it to her chest

“He nagged, but it felt cool, I guess this letter will give me the strength till he’ll be back” she smiled and felt a sharp pain on her neck

” You should come out and have some air” the junior said and left

” I think there’s a small wound there” Athena thought, touching her neck but it hurts

She quickly took her hand away from the place and tried healing again

She gently placed her finger on the spot and erased the wound like a duster will erase a marker on a board

“I can still heal, does that mean I’m a supernatural too? ” She thought.

Mount Vernon, next day**..

Kaitlyn woke up in Min’s arms on the bed and smiled widely. “It feels good to be here” she said and touched his face

That woke him up and he opened his eyes slowly.

“How was your night?” She asked

“Gorgeous like you” he smiled and kissed her chin

She blushed but thanks to the mask that covered everything

He came down from the bed and out on his shoes

“Planning to sneak out?” She asked

“No, I’ll see you” he said and vanished

“You can’t leave yet” She said and he came back instantly

” Queen you called me” he smiled, sitting beside her on the bed

” Thanks for coming back, I just want to….” She said and stood

She went closer and hugged him. “Hug you” she said

“As your lordship pleases queen” he replied

“Why do I love that name when I’m not even a queen” she said

” Maybe you are” he replied

” Stop trying to pacify me with that” she replied

He smiled and broke the hug

“I’ll go brush, brush too and let’s go eat before knowing the next move” he said said

” Ok, I’ll see you at the dinning” she replied and let him go

Dinning**

Students entered in twos and threes for breakfast and friends chatted while foes frowned

Rainbow and Mika sat together while Eden sat with Damon while Venus sat with Mercury

Min and Kaitlyn entered together and Mika looked at them hatefully as they took their seat

“Cute entry right?” Rainbow mocked

“My foot” Mika fumed

Depp entered and went to Mercury’s table to sit

“Now that the jerk is here, I guess I have to go” Venus said and took her tray of food to sit on another table

“How are you feeling?” Mercury asked with concern

“I’m fine now, thanks” he replied, smiling slightly

Eden has to stand too when Moon sat with Damon

“Hey” Damon smiled

“How’s your friend doing?” She asked

“I feel she’s getting better” he replied

” Oh…. I’m glad then” she said, eating already

“Who’s the maid here?” Damon asked

“His name is Finn, he’s good right?” Moon replied

” Of course, but not like Athena” he replied

” Your maid at AOS?, Maybe she’s your friend too” Moon said

“You find things out too fast” he replied

” That’s Moon for you” she replied and smiled

” By the way you’re pretty” Damon said

“Thanks, you are cute too” she smiled

After breakfast**

They did almost four hours retreat and everyone returned to their rooms tiredly

Eden is doing that when he got waylay by Rainbow and Mika

“You both wanna get killed?” He scowled

“Side with us” Mike said

“You guys are planning to share money? ” Eden questioned

” You’re obsessed with Kaitlyn right?, I want Min, we just have to work together to split them” Mika said

” Exactly” Rainbow added

Eden smiled and came closer

“Anything involving Rainbow, I’m not interested… And also, I’m not that cheap, bye” he replied and left them

” Let’s kill him” Mika said

“What are you talking about?” Rainbow said

“Kidding, but he deserves a warning for talking like that” Mika whispered

” What’s that sound?” Rainbow said, straining her ears

Mika listened carefully and faced Rainbow

“He’s here….”

“Who?”

“Catol” she replied and they both ran out of the place to the practice ground

The demon is standing there gallantly, a big scorpion with over twenty heads and flames is oozing out of his body as if he’s fire

The others rushed out to the place and Dean Wang appeared in front of them

“I’m here to kill this time, not to steal treasures!” he roared

” It’s your last day” Wang said

” Oh, I see you’ve added to your number” he said, looking at them like ants

” Earth is spherical formation” Wang said and they all spread round him with their swords in hand

Catol made the first move but even at the first move, he was able to bring down two students down with fire and he swallowed their souls after that, making him become stronger

Depp leapt forward but got blown away by an heavy wind from Catol

Then Mercury and Venus but they were wounded with his stings and fell, bleeding black blood from the mouth

Damon tried to go but Min stopped him

“You can’t face him, you’ll get wounded” he said

Dean Wang got wounded by Catol too

” Protect the Dean” Kaitlyn said

Venus and Moon went beside him while Kaitlyn advanced towards Catol

He smiled, knowing she’s the queen judging by her scent

Kaitlyn summoned her sword and Immediately it came, she cut herself with it and stained it with her sword

No matter how strong a demon is, her blood on her sword is capable of getting rid of it

She made to slash him but the moon decided to betray him by coming out by then

It shined directly on her face and she stood still

“No” Min said and just as her mark is about to start shinning, she vanished and Catol vanished too

Min vanished too and found himself In the wounds

He sensed where she might be and ran there but Catol appeared there also

Kaitlyn’s mark is already shinning and Min grabbed her hand, running with her, she kept breathing heavily as they kept running

Catol won’t stop chasing them and suddenly, her mask flew off, revealing her face and making her long hair flow freely, her tears kept falling as they ran and flowers kept growing

He stopped abruptly and swiftly turned her back to himself, making her shinning neck face him

He kissed her neck deeply and the mark stopped shinning instantly, her pains left her too and she breathed heavily in relief

She slowly faced him and Min’s eyes widened at the beauty in front of him

“Min” she called slowly

“Lynn, you’re so beautiful” he said , staring endlessly

Kaitlyn realised her mask is off and smiled

Min held her face, not minding catol who’s coming with great anger

“My queen” he said and without waiting for her reaction, he slammed his lips on hers.
