“Huh?, You said ?” Damon said unbelievably

“I want to kiss you” she replied

“Why?”

“I just want to” she replied, closing her eyes and leaning in

Damon watched as she kept coming and held her shoulders

She opened her eyes . “What?” She asked

“It’s not proper… I mean, we’re not an item” he said

” Then we can be an item right? ” She said

” Why? ”

” I feel a lot for you” she said

” Athena…. ”

” I’ve loved you, since you came to this academy” she said, still drawing closer

” Really? ”

” Yes Damon, I’m seriously in love… With you” she said

“Athena I’m…

“I knew it, you don’t feel the same, you just see me as a friend and it hurts” she said, stopping her moves

” Athena..

“I feel bad when I noticed you feel nothing, and you just confirmed that tonight, I’m sorry if I trespassed, I just can’t keep in my feelings again, I’ll miss you though, very much” she said and smiled before backing off

She left the room and cried till she got to her room, she sat on her bed and held her chest

“He feels nothing, one sided love is hard, I feel like I’m dying” she said

Damon sat confusedly on his bed, thinking about what he just heard

“So my guess is right, she really do loves me more than a friend, she’s in love with me” he thought

” What to do?, Ion want her to feel hurt”.

Next morning**

The senior students including Athena assembled in the meeting ground while the Juniors stayed in one side to bade them bye

“Get to Mount Vernon safely, you guys would have taken two cars with you but the road is too rough to drive on” master Lett said

” We understand” Damon replied

” Go safely” Asher said

“Master, Is it what I’m thinking? ‘ Damon said

” Yes, I’m not following, Kaitlyn will lead” Asher said

” Huh!” Kaitlyn gasped

Min smiled silently

“I hate things like this” Depp muttered

“That little thing” Mercury said silently

” It was decided last night, Kaitlyn will lead you guys, safe journey and always listen to your leader” Lett said

” But master…” Kaitlyn said

” No objection, you have the ability, just believe” Asher said

Kaitlyn waited a little bit but when she felt Min’s hand on her shoulder, she bowed

“Yes Master” she said

” We don’t know how long you guys are gonna be spending there, you’ll only come back when the demon is gone” Asher said

” Yes master” they chorused

The Juniors hugged them and bade them journey mercies while Damon searched for Athena with his eyes

He sighted her and the sadness in her eyes is enough for him to go sad too

He went closer to her and smiled , she returned it wryly and anyone capable of seeing will see it’s a sad smile

“I’m leaving” he said

“It’s ok” she replied slowly

He held her shoulders and she was forced to look him in the face

“Are you mad at me?”

“No” she replied slowly

“But why are you like this?, I know a lively Athena” he said

” I’m just… I have stomach upset” she lied

Damon smiled and hugged her. ” Take care of yourself, I’ll miss you” he said, breaking the hug

He dipped his hand into his pocket and brought out a whistle

“Blow it anytime you’re in danger, or anytime you miss me, I’ll teleport and come here” he said

Of everyone in the academy before Min and Kaitlyn arrived, he’s the only one who has the ability to teleport long distances

“Alright” Athena replied, taking the whistle

He smiled and joined the others then the journey to Mount Vernon started

“Thanks for suggesting that last night, she might get to know the powers she carries in the course of this journey” Lett said

” Sure, let’s wait and see” Asher replied

The sound of their shoes on the dry group can be heard as they walked the long journey to the mountains

Depp kept holding his breath especially now that he’s in a journey that includes Mercury

He might do something silly again though even holding breath isn’t helping again, he’s just trying

Venus and Rainbow stayed together while Eden stayed with Damon

Min and Kaitlyn never left each other

“How do you think Mount Vernon will be?” Venus said, trying to start a conversation

” Fun” Rainbow replied

“Since when did fighting demons become fun?, We don’t even know how scary it’ll be this time” Mercury replied

” I just hope the students there will be cool” Eden said and his eyes met with Kaitlyn

She quickly looked away. “That pervert” she said slowly.

“She must still be mad at me, I’ll find a way to apologise when we get to Vernon” Eden thought.

An hour later, they’re still walking and everyone is greatly tired

“Master Asher said the walk is approximately three hours, we still have a long way to go” Kaitlyn said

“little thing it’s better you shut up” Depp said

” Are you talking to leader like that?” Eden said

“Do I look I give a damn?” Depp smirked

“It’s ok, but you’ll be in danger if you can’t listen to me” Kaitlyn said

” I’m going crazy, just stop talking!, You’re not even my match!” Depp yelled, trying to come closer to her but Min obstructed him

“Stop the madness roaming through your head and come back to your senses” he said

” He has never been in his senses all his life, he has always been a lunatic” Mercury said

If it had been old times, he’d be thinking of killing her right now but he just relented and sat, huffing angrily

They all settled down and Damon served the snacks and water, they all started eating and chatting.

“I wish I brought my violin along” Damon said

“Who’ll want to listen to your boring tunes” Rainbow glared

” Do you know you’re the most ugly of all the Supernatural beings in AOS?” Damon replied

” What!’ Rainbow stated

*Get a mirror and you’ll see he’s saying the truth” Eden added

” Falling for you is the biggest mistake I’ve ever made” Rainbow replied

” Your luck” Eden laughed

Rainbow is about to attack him when the ground in front of them erupted and out of it came a scary demon with no legs, he has no legs and yet he walks

He has horns on his head and his body is full of thorns

“Molar” Min said

“Yeah, I know it’s him” Damon said

“I’ve come to kill you all, you all can’t intervene in what’s happening at Mount Vernon” he said

” What if we intervene?” Kaitlyn said fearlessly

” Death will be visiting of all of you, but instead of walking there to get killed, I’ll make it easier by killing you guys here and now” he replied

” Molar, at the count of one to three, you need to go back to where you’re from” Damon said

“no need of counting numbers, I can handle him” Rainbow said arrogantly

” No Rainbow, he’s not a joke” Kaitlyn said

“And I’m not a joke either” Rainbow replied and her sword appeared on her palm

She rushed towards her and Depp smirked

“You really have choosen today as your deathday Rainbow” he said silently

Rainbow made to attack molar but with just a snap of his fingers, her sword fell from her hand and Immediately rose by itself

Kaitlyn made to stop what’s about to happen but it’s late, the sword sunk deep into Rainbow’s belly, coming out through her back.
