UNDER THE MASK - EPISODE 12

Mercury was caught unawares and her eyes almost popped out of her head as she watched him kiss her like her lips is air he needs to breath

“Utter craziness” Rainbow muttered

“Unbelievable, did he hit his head on a tarred road? ” Eden said

Min and Damon Won’t stop staring at the shocking drama while Kaitlyn and Athena found it hard to close their mouths

Venus covered her mouth with her palm to prevent her from shouting

Depp pulled Mercury closer to himself every minute, like his brain got teleported, he’s thinking of nothing else that moment but her lips

With his eyes closed, he devoured it like his life depended on it

Mercury snapped out of it and her nails grew long, she dug it into Depp’s stomach and that’s when he snapped out of it too, he released her and came back to his senses, breathing heavily and bleeding from the stomach

Mercury angry eyes shot him nails and the nails shot through his chest

“I hate you!!!” She screamed and continued shooting but Depp suddenly smiled devilishly before drawing her closer to himself by pointing his hand towards her like a magnet, she drew closer to him and he grabbed her neck

“Bloody witch!, I’ll take your life!” He spat, smiling devilishly

Of all the fights they’ve had, Mercury has always felt like she’s better than him cos a way or the other, she’ll always have her way to be free from him but now that’s not coming

His hold on her right now is stronger than anyway he might have held her during their fights in the past, it’s stronger, firmer and seems to have a hold on her breath too cos she can’t breathe

“You…you stole…my first.. my first…k…kiss” he said breathlessly

He held more firmly to her neck and smirked evilly

“I must have been out of my senses cos I hate you!” He ranted

Mercury struggled hard and spit out blood on his face, hoping it’ll sting him again but it didn’t, her blood lost it’s potency on him too

“He’ll kill her” Athena said fearfully

Venus got her sword and ran to him but Depp made her fly to the other end of the room with just a wave of his hand

She fell heavily and wriggled in pains

Eden made to go but Kaitlyn stopped him and leapt into the air, she successfully hit Depp with her leg and Mercury fell from his grip to the ground, losing consciousness immediately

Athena ran to her and held her head up.

“Everyone should learn how to avoid me from now on, the practices I’ve been having is working” Depp smirked before leaving

He got to the door and looked back at Kaitlyn, giving him an hateful look before leaving finally

“What just happened?” Eden said

“He’s always practicing when we’ll all be in the dining hall, eating, I guess his practices payed off” Damon replied

” You really think so?” Min said suspiciously, looking at Kaitlyn who has a worried look on her face

“Ion know” Eden replied

Kaitlyn went to Venus who sustained injury on her forehead and just with a touch, the injury healed

“You’re a healer too?” Venus asked surprisingly

” I’m not sure, I just know I can heal” she replied

They both joined Athena in carrying Mercury to her room

Kaitlyn healed the bruises on her neck and the inner ones too but she’s still not waking up

“Mercury has never been unconscious” Venus said sadly

“It seems strange, I mean the way Depp was fighting the other time” Athena said

Kaitlyn heaved and left the room

Depp threw away the mirror in his room after checking out the mark on his back for the uptenth time

It broke into pieces and wounded his hand, his blood dropped on the floor heavily and he sat on his bed afterwards

“Cruella!!!!” He yelled, holding his chest

“So this is the side effects she was talking about, falling for the the girl I hate most in the world I don’t want to!!!” He screamed loudly

Right now he feels like seeing her again, back then when he squeezed her neck, he wasn’t breathing, his heart stopped beating before he was able to do that.

“I f*xking hate this kind of things!, I hate her!” He screamed

” You’ll start loving her” his heart said and that instant he felt like ripping out his heart and tear it to shreds

“I’m doomed!” He said

“The breeze is eerie tonight, it’s always like that cos of the demons roaming around the academy woods but it’s more eerie tonight” Asher said, staying on his cliff balcony at the back of his lodge with Lett

“The evil forces are starting to penetrate, but the heavens didn’t give us the ability to read minds, we’d have fished out the culprit” Lett replied, sitting on the bench

” We just have to wait for when everything will reveal itself, but we should be careful” Asher replied

” So you’re still not telling our queen the truth yet?” Lett asked

Asher stood and walked to the edge of the cliff

“Everything has the right time” he said

“When?, When they might have captured her?” Lett said

“You know it’s Impossible, she’s powerful than any demon” Asher said

” Not when she still has the moon sword mark on her, her body scent won’t be that strong if the mark is gone, she still has the mark and that’s her main weakness” Lett replied

” Having the mark means she hasn’t gotten the seven kisses on the mark from her king” Asher replied

” The more reason why you should tell her, I’m sure her king is here, tell her her fate so she can speed up the search for him, I’m sure she’d have been getting the feels right now for whoever her king is” Lett replied

Asher heaved and cleared his throat.

“But destiny can be crazy, how can a queen be stronger than her king” Lett smiled, picking a flower petal

” That’s destiny for you, and who do you think her king will be?” Asher replied

” Who knows” Lett replied, smelling the scent of the petal

Kaitlyn roamed on the hallway that night, unable to sleep, no matter how much she tries, she’s unable to sleep.

Then Depp’s action earlier, it’s a bother to her

“Why do I feel like there’s a dark energy attached to how he fought?’ she kept thinking

She held her head, deep in thoughts about how to get the fact

“Hey” Eden said behind her

She looked back and frowned a bit when he saw him

“I know you’re crossed, I know you’re angry but I’m sorry ok?” He said pleadingly

” That’s not enough” she replied, rolling her eyes

” What should I do?” He asked

“Tell me it won’t happen again, then we can become good friends again” she said

” It will never ever happen again I swear” he replied sincerely

” Then we’re good” she replied, offering an handshake, Eden took it and pulled her to himself with that

He hugged her and inhaled hard on her shoulder

“I’m relieved” he smiled

“I’m glad you are” Kaitlyn replied, patting his back

Min was just coming into the hallway when he saw the scene, he had actually knocked on her door but got no answer, he figured out she’s not in and that’s why he came here to look for her

Immediately he saw them hugging, he felt somehow and decided to brush it off but he just can’t

He looked at them again and like flash, he used super speed and passed by their middle, making Eden almost fall

Kaitlyn would have fallen too but he held her

“Are you ok?’ he asked

” Min?” She said surprisingly

” You almost got me killed, what was that?” Eden said, standing up

” Just practicing super speed and I accidentally brushed past the both of you but coincidentally, i need to talk to Lynn so I’m leaving with her” he replied and pulled her along till they’re out of the hallway

They sat together on the field quietly, Kaitlyn is waiting for him to talk while he’s looking for what to talk about in his mind

“What are we here to talk about?” She finally asked

” The stars” he said, looking up at the sky

“The stars?”

“Yes, aren’t they beautiful?” He said, pointing at the sky

She looked at the sky and smiled. ” The stars are always beautiful” she replied

“Yes, like Lynn” he smiled, facing her

” You’ve never seen my face” she said

“But being with you, I know you’re beautiful, trust me queen” he replied, staring deep at her

She returned the stare and they stared like that for minutes then he started smiling

“That smile” she whispered

“It’s handsome right?” He asked, smiling more

“Stop being cocky” she replied, hitting him playfully

He smiled and touched her hair

“You’re special” he said

“I know, but thanks for reminding me” she smiled

He placed his head on her shoulder and inhaled hard

*Nice place to sleep on” he said

Kaitlyn smiled and felt like touching his hair but restrained herself.

Eden sighed, watching them from the end of the hallway. “I feel bad” he thought, leaving silently

Cruella’s Chamber**

“You mean you succeeded in luring him?” Serpentine asked happily as Cruella told him the news

” Sure, trust me I’m dangerous and cunning than you think” she replied, grinning like a Cheshire cat

” That’s the happiest news I’ve ever heard this week” Serpentine smiled

” I guess king Dantalion’s return is drawing nearer and nearer, and princess Amoura’s awakening is drawing near too” Cruella said

Serpentine is about to answer when Depp bursted in

“How dare you give me powers with such side effects!” He ranted angrily

“That’s the problem I have with you guys, you don’t understand things easily* Cruella stood

“What is there to understand!, Mercury is my mortal enemy but here I am, craving for her, right now she’s all I have in my head besides stealing the orb, I can’t even hate her anymore unless I hold my breath!” He yelled

” If she loves you back, your powers will double” Cruella replied

” Oh look at her spewing rubbish!, For crying out loud this girl hates me as much as I hate her!, I’m still looking for how to make what I suddenly feel for her dissappear and here you are, talking about her liking me back, did your dinner not digest?” Depp ranted

*Enough” Serpentine said, standing too

“Oh, so the devil himself is here” Depp smiled

“You have to love her, and she has to love you back, that’s how your powers will keep blossoming since she has hatred and bitterness in her, just like you” serpentine said

“stop saying trash!” Depp yelled and Serpentine made him bit his tongue till he started vomiting blood

“Stop, you can’t kill him” Cruella said

Serpentine stopped slowly. ” Get the orb, no arguments” he said and vanished

Cruella changed from her human form to her toad form and made her irritating noises before vanishing

Depp touched his chest and shouted loudly

“Do I deserve this?, Damn!”

Next day, evening**

Mercury is not awake yet and that only increased Kaitlyn’s suspicions

They kept the fact that she fought with Depp as a secret and only told the masters that she’s sick

“I smell evil” Lett said as he walked back to the Lodge with Asher

“It’s confusing, I think the future is coming faster than expected, evil forces are coming” Asher replied

” Damon!” Athena called after him as he walked down the hallway

He looked back and smiled, she got to him and hugged him

“Hug me back” she said

“Why?” He asked

She broke the hug and held his cheeks. “You can’t figure anything out by now?” She said

He gently took her hands away and smiled

” I need to go somewhere, I’ll see you later” he replied and left

“I wonder if what I’m thinking is true” he thought

****

Night**

Depp hovered round the academy, thinking of how to get into the Lodge of Fame and also, thinking greatly about Mercury

It got to a point when he can’t take it anymore, he entered the girls chamber and opened Mercury’s window

He went in and luckily she’s the only one in the room, laying on the bed unconsciously

He walked closer to her bed and bent beside her

He touched her face slightly and just that touch woke her but she’s still too weak to stand or move

“You again” she said weakly, wishing she can tear him apart with her claws but she’s even too weak to move a finger

“I’m sorry” he said, rocking her cheeks gently

“Did the demons borrow your brain?” She asked gently

“Actually my heart” he replied and Immediately kissed her deeply, rubbing her ear slowly

Mercury has no strength to fight back, she just lay there, allowing her lips to get taken over by this guy she hates

Tears came out of her eyes as he made the kiss deeper, sucking aggressively on her tongue

The creaking door made him stop

He broke the kiss and went out through the window

It was actually Min who came in and when he saw him going out through the window, he followed and got a hold of him at the back of the room

“What did you come into the room to do after putting her in that condition” he demanded

” Let go of my arm” Depp said seriously

“What if I don’t?” Min replied

“You’ll be in her condition too” he replied

“You’re gonna kill yourself at this rate” Min said

” You’re leaving me with no choice” Depp said and widened his eyes, a sharp flash hit Min’s face and he fell down unconscious immediately

Kaitlyn jumped down from the window too and when she saw the scene, her eyes widened

“Min!” She screamed, rushing to him

“An opportunity to lure out the masters and get the orb” Depp thought and started running

Damon showed up that instant

” Stay with him!” She said and ran after Depp Into the woods

She lost sight of him after about ten minutes run.

She stayed still , breathing heavily then she suddenly heard mocking laughter behind her

She slowly turned back and saw the assembly of demons…over thirty of them with four of them in the front

“So we finally got you… queen” Serpentine smiled

Kaitlyn shifted in her position as she got surrounded

“Don’t come closer, leave everyone!’ she said

” Not like an order huh?” Cruella laughed

“Stay back!” She said and tried to use her powers..

” Moon appearance” Al Ana ordered and the stars In the sky dissappeared, it got replaced by the moon and Kaitlyn fell on her knees immediately

Her mark shined and her blood tears started falling, the pains started too and she can’t help but cry out loud

The demons laughed mockingly as she continued swimming in pains and her bloody tears flow till Al Ana ordered the moon to go

It left and Kaitlyn lost consciousness.

“Princess Amoura is waking up soon” Botis said

“Yeah!!!’ the others shouted

“Get her” Serpentine ordered

Al Ana and Cruella stepped forward to get her but the ground shaked violently, throwing them away with bleeding noses

Lett and Asher landed there graciously

“The two foolish masters?” Serpentine said mockingly

Lett and Asher did a formation with their fingers and an harsh wind rolled serpentine off his feet, he’d have fallen but Botis caught him

“She’s our queen, no one messes with her” Lett said

” Retreat!” Serpentine said and all the army of demons leapt up and flew away.

“The war is coming” Asher said

“Yes, only the strongest shall live” Lett replied and they jointly carried Kaitlyn before vanishing.
