UNDER THE MASK - EPISODE 10

“This is getting out of hand” Mercury thought as she stared at the drama Kaitlyn is performing

Min took Kaitlyn’s hand away from his butt, pale with embarrassment cos everyone is still laughing

He pulled her out of the place and her tipsy self kept following, toppling on her toes as a result of drunkenness

He took her to her room and gently pushed her in before closing the door

“But I want to… Pee” Kaitlyn said from inside, falling on her bed

” Pee anywhere, it’s your room anyways” Min replied and walked away

” Oh jeez! ” He said slowly, touching his butt as he walked

“Can’t believe she actually touched this, gosh!” He said and went straight to the library

” Eden, wait up!” Rainbow beckoned when she saw him walking up to the guys chamber

He waited and she rushed to him

“What do you have to say?” He questioned

“How’s your fingers doing, I heard you got wounded while doing fire formation” she replied, grabbing his right hand, the one she saw Kaitlyn holding last night

“I never told anyone I got wounded” Eden replied as she checked out his fingers but found no wound

“I know, Kaitlyn told me” she replied

“Told you?”

” Yes we’re friends and…

“I never told Kaitlyn that she could tell anyone!” He yelled, taking his hand from her

” Maybe you can ask her yourself” Rainbow replied

Eden made to go angrily but she held him

“I was worried, but I see you’re ok, can we take a walk together?” She asked

He took his arm from her and gave her mean looks

“I’m not interested” he said straight and left

“At least I’ve succeeded in putting a breach between you guys” Rainbow smiled, crossing her arms on her chest

” Where could he be?” Athena thought, searching for Damon allover the academy but can’t find him

“I wish I can do mind communication, I’d have talked to him with my mind, I don’t even have powers to sense his presence” she thought, entering the room beside the library and luckily he’s there with his head on the table, he actually slept off

“Got you!” She said slowly with a bright smile and entered fully

She got a chair and sat beside him gently

“He’s the most handsome supernatural I’ve ever met” she smiled and her eyes caught his thumb, it’s wounded, maybe by the violin strings

“That must hurt a lot” she thought and brought her hand closer to his thumb, she wiped off the wound like a duster will wipe off chalk on the board with her hand

“Ion know why I have the ability to heal, I don’t want to be a Supernatural, I just want to live as a normal human” she thought and started staring at Damon again

She smiled and touched his face gently.

Being sensitive, Damon spranged up and grabbed her hand, he tossed her on the table and got his sword to stab her and that’s when he saw her face

“Athena?”

“It’s me” she smiled and sat up on the table, Damon’s sword dissappeared and she held his cheeks, making him stay between her legs

“Has anyone ever told you how handsome you are?” She asked

“yeah, master Lett says that a lot” he replied, trying to get away

“I mean by a girl” Athena said, holding his shoulders

“A girl?, No you’ll be the first” he replied

” I’m glad I’m the first” she smiled, drawing closer to hug him

” Athena…” Damon said, feeling the need to disengage but she held tight

“I just want to hug you like this” she replied, tightening the hug

” Athena I need to go.. please” Damon said, gently breaking the hug

“Are you shy?’ she asked with a pout

” No I’m not, I’ll see you around” he replied and left the room

Athena hugged herself and smiled. “That felt good” she whispered.

“What was that?” Damon wondered aloud as he entered the library and met Min, reading as usual

“Damon” Min smiled, looking up from the book he’s reading

Damon sat beside him slowly

“What are you thinking?, You look disturbed” Min asked

” Nothing” Damon replied, noticing the cowry necklace on Min’s neck

“That wasn’t on your neck when you came” Damon said , wanting to touch it but Min held it

“Oh, I just… found it somewhere” he said

” It’s cute and somehow it feels like it’s not a normal cowry” Damon said

” Yeah, it’s not a normal cowry” Min smiled, looking at the book he’s reading

” What book Is that?” Damon asked

“Supernatural beings and their characteristics” Min replied

“Oh” Damon said, joining him and he started laughing when he remembered what happened earlier

“Stop laughing” Min said, getting why he’s laughing but that only made him laugh more

Min hit his head playfully and Damon managed to stop laughing

“But honestly it was cute” Damon smiled

“You just said cute?, She grabbed my butt and told me it’s soft” Min said

” Should I press your butt too to verify that?” Damon winked and Min slapped his shoulder playfully

Damon laughed before joining Min to read

“You’re reading as if you’re looking for something” Damon said

“Damon I need to ask you something” Min said

” Yes?”

” If the tear of a supernatural being turns to cowry, it means what?” He asked

” I haven’t seen that before, why did you ask?, Have you seen?’ Damon asked

“Nope” he replied

“Wait… this cowry on your neck….” Damon said

” It’s not what you think” Min lied

” And I have something to tell you too” Damon said

“Really?”

“Yeah, during my training with Kaitlyn, I witnessed a lot of things but the most shocking one is that she walked in a burning fire without getting burnt” Damon said

” What!”

” Yes, have any idea what that might mean?” Damon asked

“If that’s true, the only supernatural being with that ability is the que..” Min said and stopped, standing up

” What are you talking about?” Damon asked, standing up too

” Nevermind” Min replied and left the library.

” Why is he like that?” Damon wondered.

Mercury stumbled on Lett Park while walking around the academy garden alone

She quickly bowed and Lett came closer

“Mercury” he smiled

“Master” she bowed again

“Are you happy with your loneliness?” He asked

” Loneliness?, I’m not lonely” she replied

” I’m sure you know you’re lying right now, you’re the most lonely girl I’ve ever met, no one wants to associate with you cos you’re bitter and always aggressive” Lett said

” I just don’t want to mingle, I’m happy like this” Mercury replied

” No you’re not happy though you might not know but I’m feeling it in you, you are lonely” Lett said

” Master …

“Bitterness and hatred destroys, and aggressiveness will surely take a lot from you which you won’t be able to take back by the time you get destroyed completely” Lett said, placing an hand on her shoulder

” Change, that’s the only way to be good, you have a nice spirit but you’re just finding it difficult to accept, change Mercury, it’ll help a lot” he said and smiled before leaving

“change?, That’s not my style” Mercury muttered

Cruella’s Chamber**

She’s sitting with Al Ana in her parlour, drinking from a cup of wine

“Serpentine, don’t you think he’s trespassing?, Just look what he did to cyclops, he blinded his one eye” Al Ana said

” Forget about it, Cyclops has cleansing water in his abode so seeing again Won’t be a problem” Cruella replied, standing up

” Do you think that supernatural will come?” Al Ana asked, drinking from the wine

Cruella looked back swiftly and laughed loudly

“Of course, he’s coming… right now” she replied and immediately, a knock sounded on the door

“Open the door” Cruella ordered and his guards obeyed by opening the big iron door and Depp came to view

“I’ve come, to take your offer” he said boldly

Al Ana stood and smiled too

“Are you sure?, No going back” Cruella said

“Yes, no going back” he replied, coming in fully

Cruella laughed loudly, making the whole place shake badly

“You’ve come to the right place” Al Ana said

Kaitlyn woke up to find herself in her room, the tipsiness is all gone right now, she sat up on her bed and held her head

She feels a little headache and Immediately she held her head, a rush of what happened earlier came back to her memory

“Oh my gosh, Kaitlyn you’re so dead!” She screamed, dipping her face in her pillow

She slowly looked up and got up from the bed

She stood in front of the mirror and took off her mask before making a funny face

“Kaitlyn you’re a bitch!, I held his butt, I held Min’s butt with my hand!” She cried, holding a handful of her hair

” How am I gonna face him right now?, How am I gonna face him!, Kaitlyn what have you done!” She screamed at herself, sitting on the floor

” Someone should strangle me, I wanna die!!!!” She screamed again

An hour later**

She sensed that everywhere will be silent cos it’s time for dinner already

She tiptoed out of her room and kept walking slowly to the practice ground

“I just have to stay there and get some fresh air then secretly go back to my room at night” she thought, holding her mask tighter to her face

” Kaitlyn” Eden’s voice said behind her

“Oh no” she said and added to her pace

She ran out of the hallway till she got to where she’s going

She sat on a chair, breathing heavily

“Ion think he’ll find me” she thought, looking around

“Why are you running?, Feeling guilty?” Eden’s voice said behind her again

She spranged up from her chair and saw him standing behind her

She rubbed her neck in embarrassment

“I’m…

” Why did you tell Rainbow that I burnt my hand while practicing fire formation?, You want me to look weak to her?, Huh?” He asked, looking angry

” Told Rainbow?” She asked surprisingly

“Oh don’t act like you don’t know what I’m talking about I hate it!” Eden yelled

” What are you talking about?” She said

” Why did you tell Rainbow my little secret!, I hate letting people I hate know my secret I hate it!” He yelled again

Kaitlyn felt condemned that instant

“I never told anyone, I’m not that kind of person so please….stop, stop yelling at me I don’t like getting yelled at, it hurts, to the bone” she said and hid her tears as she ran out of the place

Eden’s anger cleared off and he sighed heavily. “Eden you’re a bastard…eish!” He ranted, stuffing his hand in his hair

Kaitlyn cried uncontrollably at the back of the academy and her tears has planted a lot of flowers already as it continued falling

It has been long since she got yelled at and that was done by her parents

She came here after escaping all that only for Eden to yell at her again

Getting yelled at is what she hates most in the world

She kept crying and the tears kept falling from under the mask, growing bouquet of flowers

“Lynn?” Min’s voice said behind her

She recognizes it and besides, he’s the only one who calls her that

She continued crying without looking back, she’d have tried to look strong but she knew it herself that she’s not

Min came to view and that only increased her tears

“Why the tears?” He asked with concern allover his face

“Leave me alone” she said slowly

“No I can’t, you’re in tears” he said and noticed the flowers growing as a result of her falling tears

“It grows flowers too” he thought and faced her again

” Talk to me” he said

” Go away I want to be alone!” She almost yelled

“And I said I’m not leaving if you can’t tell me what’s making you cry” he replied in same manner

She relented and sniffed in tears

“I’m just hurt” she replied

“Why?”

“I got yelled at” she replied

“By who?”

“I won’t tell you” she replied

He smiled and came closer

He held her shoulders and she felt something again

“Lynn, supernatural beings look ugly with tears you know” he smiled

“I don’t care” she replied and sniffed again

” I wish I can wipe your tears but the mask is a problem” he said

She locked eyes with him before looking away

“A man once said, imagine if humans grow tails on their heads” Min said and that resulted to an eruptive laughter from her

” I did it” he said, still holding her

“It’s funny” she continued laughing

He watched her laugh and even with the mask, she looks adorable

“Thanks for laughing’ he said

” Thanks for making me laugh” she replied

” I should do this too” he replied and pulled her into a warm hug, that gave her that feeling again

“What does it mean?” She asked herself, balancing her hands on his back and resting her head on his shoulder and as they hugged, she feels protected and calm, so much that she doesn’t want to leave soon

“I’m attached to her, I can just feel it” Min thought, patting her back

” Sorry for doing that in the morning, I wasn’t in….” Kaitlyn said

” shhhh, I know you were tipsy, so stop talking and rest on this handsome guy here…. queen Lynn” he smiled

” Thanks for forgiving me” she said

” I never said I forgave you” he joked

” Then?” She asked

” I’ll have my revenge.. right now” he replied.
