Naomi said, “Yes. He is probably here to discuss a collaboration because he is optimistic about our

company’s prospects.”

Caroline smiled at Naomi. “You think so?”

Naomi said in all seriousness, “I think that you may choose not to engage. We have enough funding

from the presale revenue to initiate the next batch of clothing production and establish the storefront.

Since we have a strong cash flow, why should we share it with others?”

Caroline asked, “I shall ask you in a different way then. Do you think money or connections will grant

you a firm position in Angelbay?”

Naomi kept quiet for a moment. “There is no lack of wealthy people in Angelbay.”

Caroline said, “Hence, we can only progress further with connections. Here, look into the firm owner

and the firm’s track record. We can take our time to meet them”

Naomi nodded ‘Thank you for the guidance, Ms. Shenton. I’ll get to it right away.”

In the MK parking lot, Alex was about to leave his parked car when another car hit the back of his

vehicle.

He glanced over and saw a familiar figure hastily stepping out of a red Mercedes Benz.

Because the person was wearing sunglasses, Alex couldn’t immediately identify them.

As he exited his car, the woman walked toward him in high heels and took off her sunglasses.

When Alex looked up and their eyes met, he was left completely astonished.

“It’s you?” they said in unison.

Paige glared at Alex in contempt. “You scumbag! Tell me, how would you like me to compensate for

this?”

Alex’s lips twitched. “How am I the scumbag when you’re the one who left after sleeping with me the

other day?”

“I’m the one who left?” Paige was furious. “Was I supposed to stay and cuddle with you if I didn’t

leave?”

Alex scrutinized her and pondered for a short while. “That’s not a bad idea either…”

boss!

“I’ll just regard it as if a dog has bitten me. I won’t entrust my prime years to you because of this!”

Alex frowned. “Evan is not that kind of person. You’ve misunderstood.”
