Caroline was using him to protect her children that she had with another man!

Caroline got a call from Paige at 4:00 p.m. right after a meeting. She answered, “Hello, Paige.”

“Carol, quickly check the news! Find out if that’s Ty and Lia’s school!” Paige urged with worry

Caroline was surprised and immediately switched on the news, setting aside her phone.

The headline ‘School Bus from Angelbay Kindergarten in Accident, Children’s Safety Unknown”

appeared on the screen.

When Caroline saw the condition of the school bus, her knees gave way. She was sure it was the bus

her kids were on. Her kids….

Noticing Caroline’s condition, Naomi hastily helped her to stand. “What happened, Ms. Shenton?”

Caroline was suddenly brought back to reality and quickly headed to the elevator, regaining her balance.

Naomi was completely stunned.

After ending the call, Paige became anxious. She grabbed her bag and rushed out of the office. She

ended up sharing the elevator with Evan and Alex

Observing Paige’s expression, Alex asked with confusion, “Is everything okay? Are you feeling

unwell?”

Paige trembled, stepped into the elevator, and spoke to Evan ‘Mr. Jordan, there’s been an accident.

Evan’s face turned pale. “Could you repeat that?”

Alex furrowed his brow in concern and quickly checked the news on his phone. Moments later, he

handed his phone to Evan.

Evan’s eyes went bloodshot as he witnessed the damaged school bus. His intense presence. seemed

to chill the entire elevator. As soon as the elevator stopped, Evan swiftly exited with Alex and Paige

right behind him.

Ten minutes later, Caroline reached the location, her ears catching the sound of an endless

ambulance siren.

The teachers had already guided the children to a safe area, and parents were slowly arriving.

They left promptly after reuniting with their children.

Caroline scanned the crowd for a long time but couldn’t locate her three kids. Her worry grew by

the minute–she was really concerned about her children.

“Tyler’s mom?” Suddenly, a voice called out.

Caroline turned around and saw the teacher standing there, looking anxious. The teacher had Axel

and Liora by their hands.

Caroline rushed over to the two kids without hesitation. After checking that Axel and Liora were

unhurt, she hugged them tightly.

“It’s great that you’re fine…” Caroline said shakily.

Liora bawled and said, “Mommy, I can’t find Tyler

Axel’s expression was tense. “I’m sorry, Mommy.”

Caroline was stunned. She loosened her grip slowly and heard an intense buzzing sound in her

ears

“What?” Caroline’s mind went blank. “What do you mean you can’t find him?”

Alice explained, “Here’s what happened, Ms. Shenton. Tyler wasn’t hurt and left the bus with us. He

was right there with us 15 minutes ago, but when I checked on all the kids, he wasn’t there anymore.

We’ve already got the school security and staff searching for him, but we haven’t found.

“Seriously? With all these teachers and childcare workers around, you couldn’t even keep an eye

on one child?”

Alice seemed panic–stricken. “I apologize. Everything was so chaotic then, but we’re committed to

finding Tyler!”

“Does it even matter to mention that now?” Caroline roared.
