Tyler took a bite of an apple leisurely and said, I can get Mommy to come

Evan smirked “You’re her son. She will come if you say the word.”

“I’m not referring to her coming to get me. I’m talking about you.” Tyler questioned his father’s

intelligence level

“I don’t require your help to make her visit me. Sooner or later, she’ll come to see you.”

With those words, Evan went upstairs, leaving Tyler bewildered by his failed plan. He had aimed to

assist his mother in resolving the situation, but his attempt had been futile.

Neil had just returned to Xander Residence when he heard Grayson’s furious voice. “A group of

useless individuals who can’t even watch over two kids!”

Trying to provide comfort, Daniella said, “Please, Grandpa, try to stay calm. It’s not good for your health

to get so upset. I’ll be okay.”

Neil’s expression grew cold. He entered the living room and found his grandfather struggling to

catch his breath.

“Why the anger today, Grandpa?” he inquired.

Grayson glanced at him. “So, you still remember where your home is? Are you planning to be as

uninvolved in this critical situation as you were live years ago?”

Neil smirked. “Have you bestowed upon me the authority to take action, Grandpa? I’m just a mere

CEO. How can I possibly make decisions about important matters?”

Grayson was seething. “Are you trying to provoke me just like your mother did?”

Neil’s demeanor turned serious. “Grandpa, didn’t your dislike for my father lead you to threaten

my mother, causing her death?”

He then fixed a cold gaze on Daniella. “If my mother were alive, she wouldn’t accept a woman so

unlike her into the family.

That’s absurd! Ensure our family isn’t in the headlines tomorrow!” Grayson growled.

“And what if I don’t?” Neil retorted.

“Then you won’t be welcome near the Xander Group!”

“Alright. I hope this is a decision you won’t regret, Neil calmly agreed.

With that, he turned and left Xander Residence immediately.

Scott took a seat beside Caroline on the sofa. “Based on her current condition, it might take another day.”

Caroline looked visibly tired. “What’s the chance of her ending up in a coma? Can anything be

done to reverse that?”

Scott responded, “It’s around 90%. Unfortunately, there’s little we can do except hope for a miracle

Try to get some sleep. I’ll be here, so don’t worry.”

Caroline fell silent for a moment before nodding.

Eventually, exhaustion caught up with her, and she drifted into a drowsy slumber.
