abducted your children. Do you understand what I’m saying?”

Caroline thought for a moment After composing herself, she picked up her phone and called Axel.

The call was quickly answered, and Axel’s voice came through. “Mommy.”

Caroline asked gently, “Axel, I want to know if your father is away.”

Axel replied. “Hasn’t Daddy called you?”

Hearing Axel’s words, Caroline became sure.

“Axel, do you know something bad happened to Ty and Lia?” Caroline asked.

“Yes. Daddy is out to help them.” Axel honestly responded

Caroline then asked, “How long has he been gone?”

Axel checked the time and stated confidently, “Three hours. Don’t worry, Mommy Daddy went

where I told him, with many people. They’ve surely found Ty”

Caroline felt relieved. “Thank you, Axel. I’d be lost without your help”

A warm feeling filled Caroline’s heart. She owed so much to Axel, yet her son’s top priority was

his siblings.

After ending the call, Caroline looked at Neil. “Evan rescued the kids.”

Neil nodded, advising. “I think you should let the children be with him. Nobody would dare harm

them, considering Evan’s status,”
