During their free period, Axel had Tyler review the information he had gathered.

Tyler read silently, his eyes reflecting anger. “Is this all about the problems between Mommy and

Daniella from before?”

Axel nodded. “I’m not sure if I missed anything.”

Tyler’s voice rose. “Daniella is awful How could she replace Mommy and help that awful Daddy?

She even pretended to be Uncle Neil’s sister! And she took you!”

Even though Axel was not talkative, his expression turned cold when he said. “That’s not all.”

The scene on the laptop screen changed Surveillance footage from five years ago showed up

suddenly.

Caroline entered a cafe and, within half an hour, was abducted by two unknown men. They took.

recovering it.”

Tyler said solemnly, “Mommy, has been framed! Give this to me!”

Axel sent it to Tyler and asked, “What’s your plan?”

extremely pale Danielle.

Once inside the cat, Grayson’s voice was thick with anger. “Why did you provoke Evan again?”

Tears welled up in Daniella’s eyes. “She’s returned, Grandpa! Evan manipulated things so I’d end up in

jail! The other inmates took my food and forced me to clean the toilet every single day.”

Confused, Grayson asked, “Who are you talking about?”

“Caroline! Evan’s former lover!” Daniella spat out the words with bitterness.

Grayson was taken aback. “But isn’t she dead?”

“No, Grandpa. She’s alive and well, and Evan is sheltering her.” Daniella’s tears flowed uncontrollably.

A frigid resolve filled Grayson’s somber eyes. “A murderer faked her own death to escape justice. I

won’t let her evade consequences. Don’t trouble yourself with this, Ella”

It’s useless… Daniella shook her head. “The police looked into it and found that her blood type didn’t

match the murderer. There is no evidence of her being Caroline.

“We can’t just leave it at this! Grayson’s voice carried anger. “Our family can gather any evidence

we need.”

Tears streamed down Daniella’s face. “Please, Grandpa, help me. Even if you don’t want to assist me,

do it for your great–grandson, Axel. Protect him. I’m really worried Caroline might harm the

child if she can’t take revenge on me.”

Grayson consoled her. “Don’t be afraid. I won’t let her succeed!*

Later in the afternoon, Evan received a call from Draco. He instructed him to return to Jordan.

Residence for dinner.

Evan reached Jordan Residence by 600 p.m. He found Draco seated at the dining table, his expression

stern. Casting a quick glance at Evan, he grunted. “Why didn’t you bring Axel along?”

Evan loosened his tie and settled at the table. “Axel is having a therapy session.” “What?” Draco was

taken aback, his anxiety evident. “What kind of therapy?”
