Although Evan felt nothing for Daniella, he cared for his son

He couldn’t fathom Caroline’s motives after five years in hiding. He’d assist her in seeking

revenge, but not at his son’s expense.

Axel hurriedly looked up, concerned Evan might hold him back. He said urgently, “She’s really

Reuben stated, “Mr. Jordan, I trust Ms. Shenton won’t harm a child.”

“You seem to know her well?” Evan asked.

“Now you know me too?” Evan’s tone turned cold.

Reuben fell silent, inwardly complaining, ‘Have you forgotten years of alcohol abuse?‘

At International Residence, Daniella was furious upon discovering that Caroline had survived the

ordeal.

Why won’t you just disappear? Fine then! Don’t blame me for taking drastic steps now that you’re

back with your kids she thought.

Quickly, Daniella dialed a number, but there was a delay before someone answered. “Mr. Hendrix!

Can you help me hire some people?”

Hector Hendrix responded rudely. “What are you up to?”

“I want Caroline’s children dead Otherwise, I can’t get back to Evan!” Daniella snapped.

“Don’t involve me in your mess again.” Hector coldly retorted.

“Mr. Hendrix, please! We can’t spare the two kids!” Daniella pleaded “Oh, and Axel too [1] do

whatever you want. Just help me get rid of these three kids!”

Hector replied, “Daniella, don’t think you’re the only one who can assist me. Don’t test me”

“This is the last time! Daniella shouted.

Daniella seethed as the call ended abruptly.

“Why is Hector acting like this? He always used to agree, even when we framed Caroline. Why

won’t he deal with the children?” she muttered.

Her interaction with Hector was only through phone calls.

However, based on Nicholas‘ situation, she knew Hector was capable. She had to be careful not to

provoke him further, or she might end up dead.

Since Hector refused to assist, she had to find someone else.
