Caroline woke up early to prepare breakfast for her children before sending them to Grace

International Preschool.

Upon arriving at the kindergarten’s entrance, she led the children inside, passing by other kids who

were throwing tantrums along the way.

Liora and Tyler were unusually obedient.

Liora squeezed Caroline’s hand and asked, “Is it scary to go to school, Mommy? Why are they crying?”

Before Caroline could respond, Tyler answered with a faint smile, “The teachers at school are not

monsters, and the principal doesn’t punish children. You don’t have to worry about this, Liora.”

Caroline felt a bit exasperated. ‘Is Ty trying to comfort or scare Lia?‘

Puffing up her cheeks, Liora retorted, “You’re trying to scare me again! I wasn’t raised in fear.”

He was stunned when he saw the man, who looked remarkably similar to him.

Liora chimed in softly. “Tyler! That man looks just like you!”

Her gaze then shifted to the little boy standing next to the man.

Gasping, she exclaimed, “Tyler! That boy looks even more like you!”

Caroline hurried across the corridor, but Evan managed to catch up to her.

She stopped as Evan stood before her, his expression cold.

In a feigned deep voice, she asked, “Is there something you need, sir?”
