Aiden didn’t care whether Hayden could sleep or not.

He made the video call only to make Hayden see reality and prepare the bargaining chips to exchange

As he walked out, the secretary said, “Commander, Mr. Jennings is waiting for you outside Mrs. Shaw’s

ward.”

Aiden went to the intensive care unit.

He saw Charlie standing outside the huge glass wall, looking worriedly at Elaine in the ward.

“Zachary, when did you arrive? Has the funeral for Professor Farsons been arranged?”

Charlie turned to look at Aiden as he twitched the corners of his lips. “I’ve just arrived. Jeffrey’s funeral

has been arranged.”

“You said you scattered his ashes. Is that a joke or is it true?”

“Aiden, let’s find a place to talk. I’m a little tired after a busy day.”

Just as Aiden was about to return to the Director’s office, he saw Cecilia walk over with two large food

containers.

He quickly stepped forward and reached out to take the containers. They were a little heavy, showing

that there was a lot of food in them. “Ceci, why did you make so much food? Grandma and Evan don’t

eat much.”
