It was easy for Christopher to dig up dirt on Jayden.

After all, there weren’t many people in Quilton who wouldn’t dare help him.

Jayden’s team at the studio, for one, caved in after a few casual threats. and sold him out completely.

Cecilia had planned to look into Jayden’s scandals herself, so she was surprised that Christopher had

already obtained the information for her.

An email notification rang out from her phone, but she ignored it.

Instead, she gazed at the man who was cold in front of others but always. warm and gentle to her.

Rather than thanking Christopher with words, Cecilia took the initiative and kissed him.

Having had several kissing experiences, there was no doubt she was getting better at it.

After a while, Christopher took charge and kissed her back assertively.

The driver in front of the couple had long gotten used to them showing their affection, so he merely

raised the partition screen in silence.

Just as the couple was locked in a deep, passionate kiss, one of their phones suddenly rang.

Cecilia could tell it was Evan calling and immediately pushed. Christopher away.

After hanging up the phone, Evan wasted no time calling Aiden.

everything and send it to you later. However, we’ll need you to help find out who John‘ is.”

I’m in a meeting now. I’ll look into it later,” Aiden replied curtly.

With that, he hung up the phone.

Evan, who was about to mention Charlie, had no choice but to stop himself.

He got up, walked to the south–facing windows, and gazed into the distance.

Upon seeing that, Cecilia gripped her phone so hard that the screen. began to crack.

She knew Jayden wasn’t as innocent as he seemed, but she never expected that he’d be the indirect

cause of someone’s death!

constantly chastised by the public.

Cecilia was so angry that she immediately called Jayden.

After picking up the phone he had thrown on his bed, Jayden realized he had countless missed calls.

Some of those numbers were familiar, while others weren’t, but he knew most were from reporters and

media outlets.

Realizing something was amiss, Jayden quickly looked through the phone records and dialed Cecilia’s

number.

“Morgan, why are you calling me at this hour? What’s the matter?”

“Something big has happened!” the reporter, Morgan Foley, exclaimed.

Judging by his tone, it was clear he was bubbling with excitement.

Naturally, Jayden was confused. “What do you mean by that?”

As soon as the call ended, Jayden looked up Cecilia’s official Twitter

account.

Alas, he realized he couldn’t view the posts!

Undeterred, he logged off his account and returned to her page as a

guest.

When he finally read the pinned post, his eyes almost popped out of his

head.

Joyce Jansen was none other than the actress who had been forced to end her own life by Jayden.

Even though she wasn’t particularly famous and played only small roles, her performances were
