Evan had been keeping an eye on Cecilia since the mastermind appeared, and the police headquarters had also been reporting to him.

He not only knew the details of the arrest plan but also knew that whoever was behind it wanted to see Cecilia.

He called Cecilia to stop her from acting recklessly, but he was too late.

Christopher held Cecilia in his arms and whispered in her ear, “Believe me, there are no ifs.”

After saying that, he let go of Cecilia and went to the police to get the bomb disposal tools.

Then he sneaked into the residential area from the blind spot of the mastermind and went to Room 402.

Meanwhile, Cecilia entered the residential area through the main entrance and came to the front of the building.

The police had surrounded the whole building with air mattresses as a precautionary measure against potential falls from the building.

The head of the criminal investigation division shouted to the roof with a loudspeaker in his hand, “You can’t escape.

Surrendering and confessing is your only way out!”

Jason took this as a joke, ignored the police, and looked at Cecilia.

Downstairs were full of police officers, and she stood out in her women’s clothes.

When she looked up, the sunlight shone on her face brightly, making it somewhat difficult to see her features.
