understand?” Cecilia said.

She targeted the Yancey family simply because she wanted to. As for who the result would be beneficial to, it was not within her consideration.

“Cecilia, what exactly are you targeting the Yancey family for?”

In Sophia’s opinion, since the misunderstanding had been cleared, the Yancey family would naturally be Cecilia’s backer. She didn’t understand why Cecilia still wanted to make a scene.

“Just to make myself happy.”

Those words angered Gordon, and he snapped coldly, “Ceci—”

Before he began to lecture her, Cecilia interrupted him impatiently. “To me, you are not victims but perpetrators. So don’t tell me to forgive and compromise under the guise of family ties. It’s disgusting.”

Sophia looked at Cecilia coldly with complexity in her eyes and left, too.

When she got to the door, Gordon came back with a sullen face.

“Gordon, what’s wrong?”

Gordon showed the painting in his hand and said, “It’s not sold yet.”

He was so angry with Cecilia that he almost forgot about the business.

Sophia had a bad feeling when she recalled Cecilia had just said she would talk about cooperation with Herman.

She turned to look at Cecilia and asked bluntly, “You’re not trying to steal our business partner, are you?”

“It’s not stealing. I get it with my ability.”

Just as Cecilia finished speaking, Herman came back from the

store room.

Gordon immediately questioned, “Mr. Hughes, what do you mean? Do you want to go back on our agreement?”

“Mr. Yancey, you should know that with the fame and status of Enigma, I will definitely seize the chance to cooperate with her.”

“But your cooperation with her doesn’t affect our cooperation. It’s two different things.”

Herman scratched his nose and said with a smile, “But I have limited funds in my hand, so I can only cooperate with one partner.”
