Christopher had long wanted to deal with Devon, who kept pestering Cecilia, but he did not have the time to care about it because he was too preoccupied with the many things going on recently.
When he thought about his idea, he had already secretly made a move on Langdon Corporation.
Now, he just needed to add more fuel to the fire.
Cecilia’s hand, which was about to get the juice, paused. The woman then looked at Christopher.
Christopher said, “I’ll handle my business myself. Although Devon is annoying, there is no need to make his family go bankrupt.”
Christopher asked the housekeeper for a glass of wine.
He held the wine glass and swirled it slowly. The wine-red liquid spiraled along the inner surface of the glass.
He added, “Rest assured. It’s a legitimate business tactic. If the Langdon family manages to raise someone like Devon, then the family is crooked.”
