The people around them started gossiping about the situation. “Isn’t this Mr. Yancey? Why is he fighting with Mr. Forte’s companion?”
“Mr. Yancey didn’t dare to go head-on with Mr. Forte, so he bullied his companion instead?”
“Unfortunately, he made a mistake in estimating the woman’s ability. Instead, he became the embarrassed one.”
“By the way, why did Mr. Forte suddenly confront the Yancey family? It’s not because of love or revenge, is it?”
No one responded to those questions.
Jonathan heard the discussions around him and felt extremely embarrassed. He scolded, “Let go of me immediately!”
At the same time, he was also confused.
He thought, ‘Didn’t Cecilia come with a dashing man? How did she become Mr. Forte’s companion?
Was that man Christopher’s driver?’
While Jonathan pondered, Cecilia patted his face with a crisp and loud sound.

Jonathan was so angry. He stared at Cecilia fiercely as if he wanted to eat her alive.
He couldn’t figure out why someone so obedient like Cecilia would suddenly become so terrible.

Cecilia sneered lightly, “You’re the fool and not me.”
Despite saying that, she still let go of Jonathan and sat down.
She looked at the dumbfounded waiter and reminded him, “You should get me my cake and juice.”
The waiter came back to his senses, turned around, and left. Soon, he brought over the food.
Jonathan got up while poking his painful face with his tongue. He sat down aside and looked at Cecilia gloomily.
“Forte Group and Yates Corporation stopped all their businesses with Yancey Corporation. Is it because of you?” Cecilia slowly raised her eyes and smiled contemptuously. “Yes, so what are you going to do about that?”
After replying, she took a sip of the juice just delivered by the waiter.
“Cecilia, you are also a major shareholder of Yancey Corporation. How can you put the company at such a disadvantage?”
“I just want to destroy Yancey Corporation.”
Hearing this, Jonathan almost went rampage.
“Are you crazy? Don’t you have any shame in selling yourself to an old man to take revenge on us?”
‘See! That’s the ugly side of the Yancey family.
They begged me to help them, but at the same time, they looked down on me. How shameless of them!’ Cecilia exclaimed inwardly.
Cecilia then pointed to her heart and uttered, “It doesn’t matter what my intention is. It’s none of your business.”
Jonathan took a deep breath and barely suppressed his anger.
“Tell me. How much will it cost you this time to cooperate with Yancey Corporation again?”

“Cecilia! You’ve gone too far! You share the same blood as the Yancey family, too!”
Jonathan was so furious that he forgot to lower his voice. Everyone there could hear him.
He then realized that he had exposed Cecilia’s background.
People around started gossiping again.
“What’s happening? Is Mr. Forte’s companion the daughter of the Yancey family? Is she an illegitimate child?”
“I don’t think so. The Yancey family has made a statement that Juliana is not related to them by blood.”
“Don’t tell me it’s just like what happens in dramas where the babies were switched at birth.”
Jonathan suddenly understood the big picture when he heard all those comments.
‘So, this was Cecilia’s plan all along.
First, she kicks Juliana out of the Yancey family. Then, she makes her identity public and forces us to accept her!
She didn’t mean it when she said she wanted to cut off our relationship. She wants to get back to her place by all means eventually. How hypocritical of her!’ Jonathan scolded in his heart.
Jonathan felt confident that he had found Cecilia’s weakness. He admitted loudly, “Yes. Cecilia is my biological sister. She grew up in the countryside. She’s conservative and superficial. She had conflicts with our family as she didn’t think through her actions. It’s a shame.”
He then looked at Cecilia with a pained look.
“Ceci, your private life has been messy enough. Don’t provoke so many men anymore. Mr. Forte is not someone to be trifled

with. You will just be hated.”
He was a little sincere in his words though.
He was worried Christopher would take out his anger at the Yancey family after learning Cecilia had been involved with other men.
His words shocked everyone at the scene.
Everyone understood why they almost fought previously.
Jonathan’s words did not matter. Whether true or not, it seemed very tasteless of him to criticize his sister publicly.
How much hatred and resentment did it take for him to do such a crazy thing?
Jonathan did not notice that everyone looked at him differently
now.
He continued to slander Cecilia. “Ceci, we followed your order when you asked us to kick Joanna out of the house. Don’t be angry with us or manipulate Mr. Forte anymore. Okay?”
In other words, Christopher had confronted Yancey Corporation because Cecilia slept with him and angered him somehow.
Looking at Jonathan, who was distorting the facts, Cecilia was glad she had left the Yancey family.
Just as she was about to retort to Jonathan, Christopher walked up to her.
He reached out his hand to Jonathan and said, “Mr. Yancey, let’s get to know each other.”
Jonathan looked at the domineering man and felt he must not be Christopher’s driver.
A driver was not qualified to come to the Elite Auction.
He glanced at Cecilia and wondered, “You’re really good. You have two men wrapped around your fingers and haven’t been exposed.”

At the same time, he was shaking Christopher’s hand and introduced himself. “Jonathan Yancey. I’m the Chairman of Yancey Corporation.”
When Christopher got hold of Jonathan’s hand, he squeezed it tightly.
“Christopher Forte. I’m the Chairman of Forte Group.”
Jonathan felt a stinging pain in his hand and did not hear Christopher clearly.
He immediately withdrew his hand and hid it behind his body. He tried moving his fingers that had been crushed.
“Sorry, but who are you again?”
“I’m Christopher! The man who is manipulated by Ceci according to you.”
With that, he stepped forward and stared at Jonathan who was astonished.
“Weren’t you very loud when you slandered Ceci just now? Why are you so quiet now?”
Jonathan took a step back because of Christopher’s imposing manner. His face gradually became pale white.
He did not expect Christopher, who was rumored to be old, ugly, and bald, to be such a handsome young man.
“M-Mr. Forte, I had misunderstood Ceci. I was just afraid that she would go astray, so I scolded her severely.”
Christopher took a step back and stood beside Cecilia, wrapping his arms around her shoulder.
“As far as I know, Ceci has cut off her relationship with the Yancey family. What rights do you have to scold her? Even if she goes astray, I will protect her. There’s no need for you to criticize her.”
He added, “Besides, Juliana got kicked out of the Yancey family because she did something wrong. Don’t blame Ceci for it!”

After listening to such impactful words, everyone looked at Jonathan in disdain.
Jonathan’s face flushed so red that he wanted to disappear instantly.
Thinking of Yancey Corporation’s unfavorable situation, he shamelessly said, “Mr. Forte, what happened between Ceci and our family is a private affair. It’s not up to her to decide who is right or wrong. I hope you can separate business from personal matters.”
Christopher curled his lips and the mockery in his eyes. deepened.
