THE PROMISE - Episode 1

Annette! Annette! Annette!

The crowd at the fashion show roared vigorously. Annette Danielson just finished the most spectacular runway performance ever. Being a super model wasn’t easy since you would be surrounded by many reporters wanting to hear your story. Fans everywhere and don’t forget handling the paparazzi too.

Annette went backstage and received cheers from there as well.

“You rock Annette!!!” Someone shouted and she smiled

“Weldone, You did exceptionally well my dear” Her manager commended her

“Thanks” Annette stretched her hand for a handshake but her manager pulled her in for a hug instead

“I have to go home now” Annette said walking out with her manager trailing behind

“You did great out there” her manager said as they entered her limousine

Really? I thought I didn’t put my best into it” Annette replied

“Why will you say such a thing?,you really did well more than I ever expected” her manager replied

“Thanks, she replied yawning

Are you tired? Her manager driving out of the industry

“Yes a lot” she replied smiling.

Annette was a very beautiful young lady who has the killer body for the runway. She is currently under numerous company begging her to sign a contract with them. Each step she took on the runway made people crave for more. She was the best at what she does and her popularity is at the peak.

THE DANIELSON’S MANSION

Tania, Annette’s half sister sat with a glass of wine listening to the evening news with a frown

“Annette Danielson has stunned the whole modelling industry with her performance today. It is not only amazing but spectacular. She is the best model we have ever seen and will remain the best”

“Ugh come on,she isn’t that great. Why is everyone all over her like she’s some kinda goddess” Tania said tightening her grip on the glass cup

Tania was a very sassy lady with no remorse for human dignity at all. She respected no one

“She will be all goody goody on TV but they don’t know the kind of monster she is” Tania hissed and switched off the TV

She was about leaving for her room when the door opened and Annette walked in

“Here she is queen of the whole world” Tania said sarcastically

Annette rolled her eyes and was about going up to her room

“Stop right there bi_ch. I never asked you to leave”

“Tania,it’s late and I’m tired as well. Please I need to rest” Annette said

“Rest? Haven’t you heard that the wicked are not entitled to rest? A wicked ass hole like you doesn’t deserve rest. You deserve misery”

Annette breathe in and out. She wasn’t going to let Tania ruin her day. She won’t let her have her way

Ever since her mother died and her father remarried,life hasn’t been all that good for her. Life became worse after the birth of Tania. She was older than Tania but Tania never respected her or treated her like one. Instead they would go on bickering at each other with neither unwilling to back down

“Why are you suddenly quiet huh? Oh I’m right. You have no worth at all Annette. You see all this people claiming to like you,making you feel like you own the world,they’re gonna hate you one day. It’s just a matter of time and poof…” She snapped her fingers “… They’re gone. So don’t think you’ve achieved anything yet”

Annette sighed

“I’ll be in my room” She said and walked upstairs

“Hope you slept with a neat news reporter to boost your fame this time?” Tania smirked

Annette stopped in her tracks and shifted her gaze to Tania

“What the hell just came out of your fûcking mouth?” Annette asked angrily

Tania laughed

“So you finally got angry. Impressive. I thought you were acting cool today. It seems I crossed the boundary”

“Watch the way you talk to me Tania. I’m your elder_

Hold it there” Tania cuts her off “You are not my elder sister and I’m not in any way agreeing to that. I won’t even call you my stepsister so don’t praise yourself too much”

“What am I gonna do with you? You’re damn annoying” Annette snapped and stormed upstairs

Tania stood there with a satisfied smile plastered to her face. Annoying and making Annette feel bad is what makes her day.

“She thinks the whole world is on her shoulders right? Let’s see how I’m gonna break those damn shoulders” Tania muttered,gulped down her remaining wine and plopped down on the couch smiling brightly.

Annette entered her room and slammed the door shut. She had controlled herself today. She didn’t want Tania’s childishness to ruin her celebration. She took off her dress and had a hot bath to relax her tensed muscles. That seemed to calm her down a bit.

After that,she applied a bit of lotion and slid into her night gown. She looked to her right and saw that the maid had already diced the fruits she asked for. She grabbed her laptop and took a bite before switching it on. She knew her performance tonight must have been posted already and as expected,the laptop buzzed with tweets.

NEXT DAY…

Annette was woken up by a call from her manager. She rubbed her sleepy eyes and picked up the call

Good morning

Good morning Annette. Are you ready?

Ready for what?

You have a photo shoot by 10am today. Don’t tell me you’ve forgotten?

Anne face palmed

Oh my gosh! I totally forgot. I’ll be out by 8am okay?

Okay

She hung up the call and undressed before speeding to the bathroom. She took her bath,dried her body and applied body lotion. She wore a chick red gown and packed her hair in a ponytail. She didn’t apply make up since the artist at the studio will take care of that.

She still looked stunning and attractive without makeup. She had attractive long legs that made people never want to take their eyes off her. Her flawless skin contributed to her magnificent beauty. Her adorable tiny shaped lips was also an attraction.

She rushed downstairs and saw her father sitting on the couch with Tania beside him. She was sure that cunning step sister of hers was trying to extort money from her father.

“Good morning Dad” Annette smiled and kissed his cheek ignoring Tania totally

“Morning baby. Hope you slept well?” Mr Mark Danielson asked smiling

“Yes Dad. I know you did too. You’re looking more handsome than ever” Annette pinched his cheeks playfully

Tania sat and watched them in disgust. She felt left out. Do they even know she exist? She thought with in herself

“Okay Dad. I’m off to Sunny Streams industry for a photo shoot” Annette said

“Okay dear. Shine bright as always my starlight” He smiled

“I will” Annette smiled and left

“So where were we?” He turned to Tania who glared at him

“Oh so now you remember me? After being all lovey dovey with your daughter,you remember me right?” Tania snapped

“What are you saying? You’re my daughter too”

“Yeah but you don’t treat me like one and it’s not fair. I’m sure gonna tell mum all these when she’s back”

“You’re free to do so. I’m running late for work. Are we still going on with your request or I should go?” He said standing up

“No dad. Just transfer the money to my account” Tania said

“Good” He adjusted his suit and left the house

Tania sat down and hissed

It’s been a week since her last runway show and no one has phoned her for any photo shoot. She was damn jealous of Annette. Annette is even rejecting offers she would easily accept.

“I’m on my way sir” Annette said and dropped her phone

“He’s the one right?” Her manager asked

“Yes. It’s not 9am yet and he’s already pestering me with phone calls” Annette complained

“That’s what you get for being a super model Anne”

“Yeah,I guess” Annette released a sigh and was quiet throughout the drive

SUNNY STREAMS ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY

The limo pulled over and they stepped out. The theme for her photo shoot today was “A DAY AT THE BEACH” She would have to be in a bikini. She didn’t mind since that’s her job and she had a passion for it.

She looked up and saw the CEO of Sunny stream walking towards her.
