Romeo had Arabella sitting on his lap, gently stroking her soft hair. “How many secrets are you hiding from me?” Arabella sheepishly avoided his gaze. “Not a lot,” she thought, “although more than the fingers on both hands.”

“Are you after the cinnamomum tenuis because of my grandma’s condition? Romeo asked softly, looking at the girl in his arms. “Did you know how serious her condition was when you were treating her? That she didn’t have much time left?”

“Yes”

“Why didn’t you tell me sooner? Romeo gazed into her eyes. “Or had you already decided to go to the triangular zone on your own to find the cinnamomum tenuis? Who told you that could save my grandma?”

“I read about it in a medical book a long time ago.”

Whether it could cure her or not, that would depend on his grandmother’s condition.

The antidote to Virus X3.” Arabella said flatly. “Keith was infected with Virus X3. I thought he would agree to exchange the cinnamomum tenuis for this.”

After all, everyone wanted to live, everyone cherished their own life.

“So that’s why you dared to take the risk?” Romeo suddenly understood. It turned out that she was even smarter and more capable than he thought.

The bottle in her hand was originally intended to be exchanged with Keith, but now that Keith was dead..

“Take whatever you want,” Romeo said lovingly, gazing at her. “Everything I have is yours.”

Arabella didn’t say anything.

“We have seven hours left, you should rest a bit,” Romeo noticed her fatigue.

“Okay.” Arabella had been working non–stop for a long time to help her infected subordinates. Between that and handling other matters, she had barely had a moment to rest.

She snuggled into Romeo’s arms like a docile little kitten and soon fell asleep.

Seeing her sound asleep, Romeo gently lifted her and placed her on the bed in the bedroom.

The plane had several bedrooms, and Romeo placed her in the most spacious one. As he was about to cover her with a blanket, he noticed that her phone had fallen out of her pocket and was vibrating.

Someone was calling her, a string of numerical codes displayed on the screen.
