THE MERMAID PRINCESS - EPISODE 9

Moody’s POV –

Pain was what I had the pleasure of waking up to this morning.

My sides were sore and red and I began to see tiny black spots.

I also noticed more blue scales appearing on my legs.

My throat was becoming dryer and dryer by the minute and the room felt a thousand times hotter than it already was.

I needed a drink of water but could not get off my bed because of this dreadful pain I was feeling.

“G-Grandpa” I managed to crook out.

I heard shuffling down the hall and then he came barging through my bedroom door.

“Melody- oh my god kiddo,what’s wrong?” He said looking at me with worry in his eyes.

“I need…a glass of water” I told him, feeling a little dizzy because my head was hurting.

“I will go get you a glass” he replied leaving the room.

“With salt please”

He came back with a tall glass of water and a packet of salt.

Quickly grabbing the water, I ripped open the packet of salt and poured it into the glass of water.

Then I drank all the water down until there was nothing left in the glass.

“Thanks grandpa” I smiled at him great fully.

“Your welcome but you still look a little pale i’m taking you down to the beach.” He said.

Then he picked me up and carried me down the stairs and placed me in the backseat of his car, then he closed the door and we were off.

When we arrived at the beach, he got out of the car, opened the backdoor and lifted me up out of the car.

Then he proceeded towards the crystal clear water. He set me down gently into the water and suddenly the pain grew worse.

My legs began fusing together like a zipper from the top downward. What’s happening to me.

“GRANDPA, WHAT’S HAPPENING TO ME?”I screamed at the top of my lungs.

“I don’t know Melody” he replied. Concern taking over his features.

My legs continued to fuse together and my feet began to grow larger and wider.

I realised then, that i was becoming a mermaid. Blue scales appeared on my legs, my top disappeared and was now replaced by a blue bikini top.

My brunette hair was now blond with pink highlights.

Although it hurt like hell, the pain was worth it because now I am finally a mermaid. I can’t wait to show Ariel.
