THE MERMAID PRINCESS - EPISODE 5

 
Moody’s POV

It was finally Saturday, the day of Austin’s pool party and i was really excited that is until I found out that I was a fish.  

So I was a little sceptical about going because I couldn’t risk my secret getting exposed.  

But Ariel had other plans of making me go.

“You’re going!” Ariel said, with finality laced in her voice.
“You know I can’t. What if more scales start to appear or worse I finally pop a tail.”

“Oh my dear best friend, I have thought of that already and that’s why you won’t be swimming.”

“But who ever thought of going to a pool party to not swim.”

“I did. I just said that, were you not listening.”

“But, what about my awesome bathing suit that we bought.”

“You can still wear it, just don’t go into the water.”
“Fine, let’s get dressed and go”

When we arrived to the party, we noticed a few people in the pool, and some just hanging around it, 
while others were too busy making out and practically doing live porn against the wall.

 Okay gross! Like seriously get a room.
Then I spotted the host of this party Austin and his best friend Lewis chatting by the snacks.

 Lewis is my first crush I have liked him since the 5th grade.
 He is 5’11, has blond hair and blue eyes and can make any girl weak in the knees by just a glance. Talk about gorgeous.

“Hey, there’s Lewis. You should go talk to him.” Ariel said while nodding in his direction.

“What no way, we have nothing to talk about and besides he’s talking to Austin.

“Oh really, then why is he walking towards us as we speak.”
 Said Ariel and my head snapped up towards the direction of the snack table and she was right he was walking this way. 

 But before I could say anything he was already in front of us with a dazzling smile on his face.

“Hey ladies, enjoying the party” he asked still smiling at us.
“Yes in fact I think I’ll go find the host right now and tell him how awesome it is so I’ll see you guys later.”
 
She said turning on her heels to leave but not before throwing a wink in my direction.

“So Melody do you want something to drink.” He asked with yet another breathtaking smile on his face.

“Sure I wanna coke please.” I said returning his smile.

“Sure thing pretty lady, I’ll be right back.” Then he took off towards the kitchen.

  Okay, Lewis just called me pretty am I dreaming someone pinch me. 
It was in that exact moment I noticed Ashley the queen bee of the school coming towards me.

“Hey Melody can we talk for a second?”

“Okay talk!”

“Alright let me get right to point stay away from Lewis he’s mine.”
 She snarled at me. Okay is she a dog or something.

“Oh yeah and why don’t you make me.” I replied smugly. Then suddenly she looked at me with an evil smirk on her face and said.

“Hey Vince another girl wants to go in.” Said the witch herself.
“I want to go in where?” I asked clearly confused.”Into the pool” said Vince in a sing song voice then he picked me up, threw me over his shoulder and began walking towards the pool.

“No! Put me down” I screamed starting to panic. That’s when Ariel finally came to my rescue.

“Vince put her down right now, she can’t swim” As soon as she said this he immediately put me back on my own two feet.
“Sorry Melody, I didn’t know you couldn’t swim.” Vince spoke with an apologetic face.

“Its Okay ” I replied then walked towards Ariel.”Lucky thing I showed up or who knows what could of happened, how did you end up in that situation anyway.”

“Oh you know Ashley showed up, she said something’s,

 I said something’s and badda Bing badda boom I almost get thrown into a pool.”

“That little sea witch, how could she do that to you.”

“Because she told me to stay away from Lewis and I refused, 
so she decided why not get someone to throw me into the pool, considering the fact that she can’t do it herself.”

“That nose picker, ugh she’s totes an A class slut.”
“I couldn’t agree more, anyways have you seen Lewis he went to get me a drink but hasn’t come back yet.”

“Oh yeah, he was in the kitchen talking to Shane.””
“Okay I guess I’ll go there and get me a bottle of water and some salt because I really craving it right now.”

 I said while turning around and proceeding to the kitchen. 

 I arrived at the kitchen, then I opened the refrigerator and grabbed a bottle of water. ‘Now where’s that salt’

“Hey Melody looking for something” asked lewis with that boyish smile of his.

“Oh, er yea, have you seen the salt by any chance.”

“Salt! What for?” He said while throwing a confused look in my direction. Oh shoot! What do I say now.

“Oh you know, for the popcorn I’m making.” Yeah that sounds convincing enough.

 I think.”Oh okay its in the cabinet, and here’s the coke you requested.
” He replied with another cute smile. Wow that’s the fifth one he given me for the day. But hey —who’s counting.

He started saying something but i couldn’t make out the words because suddenly I felt a little light headed,
 then my vision became cloudy and that’s when everything went black.
